My attributes are increasing infinitely-Chapter 118: Upcoming Grand Battle
Ethan and Rose started walking toward the crowd. As for why Ethan stopped Rose, it wasn’t because she wasn’t their match or anything. That Master Timmy had just around Master Level 2 strength, probably an Innate Martial Artist, whereas Rose was a Level 9 Grandmaster. She could totally destroy that punk.
Ethan stopped Rose because he saw something.
He had comprehended the Supreme Law of Karma up to 6%, just like his Law of Chaos. All four of his Supreme Laws were progressing at the same pace as the Law of Chaos.
At this point, he could see karmic lines on individuals if he wanted to. It hadn’t reached the level where he could identify enemies solely through those lines and eliminate them, but he could trace the threads and, using the Supreme Law of Fate, draw conclusions about where the karmic line might end.
This problem would be resolved once his comprehension reached 10%.
Ethan stopped Rose because he saw a sinister red karmic line on Timmy’s head. That line was radiating some vile energy. He tried to use the Law of Fate to find its endpoint, but he received a warning from the fate law. If he dug any further, he might run into trouble. However, the threat was mild. The opponent might be at the same level as him or just a little stronger.
So Ethan didn’t want to make a rushed decision. He would take action tomorrow if possible. But if not, then fine. Come on babe,Ethan Hunt didn’t care. He would fight to his heart’s content.
Soon, they reached the scene.
The servant was practically drooling, clearly eager to see the child’s blood spill from his tiny body.
Ethan sighed. "A psychopath, huh? Probably from some kind of demonic cult or something where they serve someone. And the threat I sensed from the Law of Fate, probably that dude is responsible."
The man was about to slice the boy’s leg tendon, but Ethan stopped his hand.
Everyone was stunned. Who was this man trying to resist a martial artist? The poor vendors and common people watching the scene began murmuring in low hushes.
The servant’s eyes turned crimson red. Who dared to stop him? Did this man want to die?
He looked at Ethan.
It was a very handsome young man, probably the most handsome person anyone had ever seen.
Ethan smiled warmly at the man. "Brother, can you let this child go? For my sake?"
The man and the other servants were dumbfounded. Even Master Timmy showed a slight reaction.
Then everyone burst into laughter.
"For your sake? Hahahahaha. Who the fuck are you?"
Then he looked at Rose and said, "Maybe..."
Puchi!
The man’s head rolled off his body. Ethan had used his hand to chop it off. Then he turned to Rose.
"Baby, do you have a towel? My hand was dipped in shit. Yuck."
Rose had seen this scene before, on various occasions. Ethan would always kill someone if they dared look at her with disrespect.
She just couldn’t get enough of her man. He was so damn cool. And then he asked, "Baby, do you have a towel?" How the heck could Rose’s little heart take so much excitement all at once?
She brought out a towel from her space ring.
Ethan began wiping the blood from his hand and looked toward the man called Master Timmy. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
The atmosphere was silent. So silent that the heartbeat of a person could be heard.
Timmy was also looking at him. His expression remained unreadable.
But that facade would not work on Ethan. He could tell the man was on the verge of wetting his pants. When Ethan killed the servant, he had released a sliver of his aura, and only Timmy had felt it.
Timmy knew that if he moved, he would be gone. No doubt about it.
After cleaning the blood, Ethan looked at the boy who was still trembling. First his father, and now a headless body was lying in front of him. His tiny brain could not take all the shock at once, and he fainted. Rose caught the boy.
Ethan said, "Can you check if his father is dead or not? I need to have a heart-to-heart conversation with that brother."
The other guards of Master Timmy didn’t move either. They had gotten the signal from Timmy to stay still.
Ethan took a single step and vanished, then reappeared before Timmy.
He smiled kindly at him. The smile was so gentle that if a child saw it, they would instantly fall in love. It was a kind, fatherly smile.
But to Timmy, it felt like the cruelest smile in the universe. The smile of the King of the Abyss. Timmy’s entire body began to shake.
Ethan said, "Don’t worry, Mr. Timmy. I don’t want to become the enemy of your master. Your subordinate crossed the line, so I had to kill him. We can call it off, right? I hope you won’t complain to your master. If so, I’d have to kill you all right now."
Timmy’s heart started racing. So he knows about my master. It seems he’s afraid of him.
Timmy’s lips curved into a slight smile. He thought to himself, "You think that after killing one of my master’s loyal servants, you’ll be spared? You’re already marked. You will die tonight. No doubt. My master won’t let you live past this night."
Ethan could tell something was trying to enter his body, but it couldn’t succeed. It felt like someone was using the Law of Karma, but the comprehension level was low—only around 2%, maybe.
"So that person also comprehended the Law of Karma, huh? Let’s see what you’re up to." Ethan wrapped that Law of Karma with his own and allowed it to enter his body.
Timmy got his confidence back and said, "You can kill us all, but my master’s dignity should not be trampled. I get that you killed him because he crossed the line, but you also stepped on my master’s pride. He won’t like it when he sees one of his servants dead. So how do you want to make up for that?"
Timmy was trying to get everything he could from this lamb. He had seen Rose use a space ring. They must be from a rich family. No way was he letting them go without gaining something first.
Ethan’s mouth almost curled up.
He looked at another guard of Timmy who was standing very close to Timmy. The man burst into a bloody mist. The blood fell on Timmy’s face and dress.
This time, Timmy’s heart turned cold.
He had thought the man in front of him was a powerful martial artist at most, but he was wrong. Totally wrong. This man belonged to the class his master came from—the cultivators.
He was finished. Completely screwed.
Ethan smiled. "Was that gift sincere enough? If you think that’s not enough, I can always give you more, you know."
Timmy was trembling. He slurred slightly, trying to force a smile as he said, "That’s enough. We will be leaving. Thank you for the generous gift."
"You are welcome," Ethan replied with a smile.
Timmy left with his men.
Ethan’s mouth curled up. The real fun should begin tonight. But first, let’s merge with the clone and get the Sword of Infinity. He didn’t want to take any risks.
