My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 167: The Reason He’s Unhappy
Her face was full of hesitation, which made Noah Drexler’s eyes brighten a bit. After a moment, he pursed his lips and continued speaking.
"Having you endorse the brand was a decision made after the company’s meeting, I had no part in it."
He only added her information to the list among some top female celebrities originally considered.
Whether she could secure the endorsement was not a concern for him.
As Noah Drexler finished speaking, Summer Shawcross’s face showed an expression of surprise, looking at him with disbelief.
"Really?"
Seeing her disbelief, Noah patiently explained to her.
"High-end jewelry like this doesn’t lack visibility, so your status and popularity are irrelevant to them. They value the spokesperson’s positive image and fitting aura."
Being a competent businessman, he naturally understood that this brand did not care about the celebrity’s popularity; image and aura were far more important in comparison.
Among the artists with some fame in the country today, no one matched the brand’s desired aura better than her.
Listening to this, Summer started to understand a bit more. It seemed so, the spokespersons abroad for this brand seemed to be celebrities with good images and aura.
Yet receiving such an endorsement right off the bat indeed felt a bit unreal for her...
Just as she was hesitating, Noah Drexler’s deep voice slowly sounded again.
"You can refuse, but the endorsement fee will immediately go into another artist’s pocket."
His words made her freeze, and she quickly came to her senses and opened her mouth.
"When did I say I was going to refuse?"
She made up her mind; good things shouldn’t go to outsiders. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Anyway, this endorsement fee would fall into someone else’s pocket, so why not hers?
After all, it’s Noah Drexler’s money; not earning it would be a waste!
With that, she carefully stored the contract, seemingly worried he’d change his mind, and added, "My agent will come to sign soon."
Noah found himself amused by her words, raised his eyebrow, and then sat back in the chair, glimpsing at several boxes of fruits on the desk before parting his lips to remind her.
"Summer Shawcross, I’m thirsty."
Summer had just put away the contract when she froze at his words, looked where he was staring, and instantly understood, placing the fruit boxes in front of him.
"Help yourself."
Finishing that, she picked up her phone to message her agent, urging her to hurry up and sign.
Looking at the fruits in front of him, Noah Drexler frowned, his handsome face showing some dissatisfaction.
She changed her attitude as soon as she got the endorsement contract?
Thinking that, he, somewhat displeased, reached up and directly pulled the woman next to him who was messaging, into his arms.
His sudden action startled Summer Shawcross, who immediately clutched her phone tightly.
Looking up, she saw the man looking quite displeased.
"What’s the matter?" She was taken aback, what did she do to annoy him?
Noah Drexler furrowed his brows, stared at her for a moment, then parted his lips, speaking seriously to her.
"Feed me."
Thinking back to the watermelon she tossed back to him earlier, he felt a bit unrewarded.
She was momentarily stunned, her face showing some bewilderment.
His displeasure was because she hadn’t fed him fruits earlier?
Thinking that, she couldn’t help but feel slightly helpless yet amused.
