"Guardian Alliance? What kind of organization is that?" Shen Jingqi asked in puzzlement. Although he was somewhat suspicious of these people, seeing them indeed helping to fight off the small monsters, he relaxed his guard slightly.

"Who are you?" The man asked warily, gripping his weapon tightly, ready to attack at any moment.

The black-cloaked person sneered, saying, "I am a senior member of the mysterious organization. None of you will leave here alive today." Suddenly, a black mist emanated from around his body, flickering mysteriously.

"Be careful, this guy in the black cloak is tough to handle," the man shouted, tension in his gaze; he could feel the powerful energy emanating from the black-cloaked figure.

The man in the black cloak waved his hand, and the black mist surged toward everyone. Wherever the mist passed, stones melted and deep pits formed in the ground. The group retreated quickly, dodging the mist's attack.

"Let's attack together!" The man shouted, charging toward the black-cloaked person, his weapon flashing coldly. Everyone followed, engaging in a fierce battle with the black-cloaked figure.

The man flew like an arrow toward the black-cloaked person, his weapon bringing a fierce momentum as he slashed down hard. The black-cloaked figure merely sneered, his form ghostly as he easily dodged the strike, then swung backhand, the black mist surging toward the man like a tide. Startled, the man rolled sideways to evade, the black mist grazing his clothes, leaving patches of black smoke-wreathed pits on the ground.

"The corrosive nature of this mist is too strong, be careful not to touch it!" The man loudly reminded others, sweat already covering his forehead, tension and alertness evident in his eyes. He knew clearly that this black-cloaked figure's strength exceeded imagination, making the battle exceptionally challenging.

Lin Yu gripped his sword tightly, seized an opening when the black-cloaked man attacked the man, and shouted as he charged from the side. He leaped high, his sword darting like lightning toward the black-cloaked figure's chest. But the black-cloaked man was not hurried; he reached out with a dry hand and directly grabbed Lin Yu's sword blade. Lin Yu felt a mighty force traveling along the sword, numbing his arm, almost causing him to drop the sword.

"With just this bit of skill, you want to challenge me?" The black-cloaked figure taunted, his voice raspy and sinister, as though coming from hell. Her mind persistently sought a countermeasure, but the black-cloaked figure's power was too overwhelming, leaving her momentarily at a loss.

In the midst of their predicament, a low roar suddenly came from outside the cave. Following that, a massive black magical beast charged in from the cave entrance. This beast was bull-shaped yet had three heads, each with a gaping maw, sharp fangs visible, spewing fierce flames from its mouth.

"Not good, it's a beast summoned by the black-cloaked man!" The man exclaimed in terror.
