MTL - Orc Predator-~ ☆Chapter Raising Beasts
The door was opened, Cecil raised his eyes, and saw two orcs walking in without any surprise. A smile spread across his face, but his thin body couldn't help trembling slightly. Noticing this, Francis quickly turned around and closed the door tightly to prevent the slightest bit of wind from entering. Then he walked to the side of the hospital bed and sat down in two steps, lovingly stroking the boy's dark blue hair. Obviously, he often came here.
The boy narrowed his eyes slightly, looking like a cat enjoying its owner's petting.
"Where did he hide?" Cedric walked to the bed and looked at his younger brother and asked, his voice was exhausted, obviously he had to struggle a lot to find this place before.
"I didn't see anyone." Cecil blinked mischievously and said.
"Then other things count." Cedric also blinked.
The two brothers looked at each other, and the brilliance in the two pairs of almost identical dark blue eyes changed.
"A wounded beast is licking its wounds under the bed." Cecil finally replied, and sighed slightly, "But he has passed out since just now."
Cedric showed an expression of "it's true", sighed and bent down to pull him out from under the bed. The female was covered with a lot of dust from under the bed, her eyes were closed, her expression was rare and quiet, but her left hand was still holding the knife tightly. The orc held him in his arms, glanced at the blood on the white robe and the pale face of the female, and pursed his lips slightly.
"Does Cecil like beasts?" Cedric looked at the person in his arms and suddenly asked without warning.
"I like it, the beast is the same as me." Cecil looked at the ceiling and said something confusing. Although his tone remained the same, his eyes drifted for a moment as if they were out of focus, but then his eyes turned back to himself. On the elder brother, a narrow smile appeared on the corner of his mouth: "Brother, you seem to want to adopt a beast!" As soon as the words fell, he suddenly coughed twice involuntarily. Cedric immediately looked at him with a frown, and Francis leaned closer to take a closer look at Cecil's face, and shook his head at the orc to indicate that he was fine.
Cedric's expression finally relaxed: "You talk too much today, rest first."
Cecil nodded obediently, shrank his body under the quilt. Francis tucked the quilt up for him, and didn't intend to leave: "Go first, I'll stay for a while."
"I'm sorry to trouble you." Cedric was not surprised, but just nodded. After all, Francis, who is the head of the medical area, is the attending physician of his younger brother.
The moment the door was about to close, Cecil suddenly called out: "Brother!"
"Huh?" Cedric stopped and looked back at him, waiting for his next words very seriously, but saw the boy with a slightly mischievous smile: "Do you really want me to give you the 'Guidelines for Raising Beasts'?"
"Have a good rest." Cedric said helplessly, and closed the door tightly with his hand. Only then did he look down at the person in his arms, feed it...
"It hurts so badly!" Phil screamed from the side, and quickly held one of Ah Liu's hands. A light green light shone from their hands. At the same time, Cedric saw the female's face improve a little. . "Thank you." The orc smiled, then strode out of the house and rushed to another house. Even the normal walking speed of males is mostly beyond the reach of females. Adolf originally wanted to go straight home and kiss his partner who finally reunited, but looking at Phil's expression, he knew that he was worried. The orc scratched his head and hugged him anyway. A partner followed. Phil looked at Adolf, wrapped his arms around his orc's neck and relaxed his body, with a happy smile on his face.
Cedric's speed was very fast, and there were already two non-orcs waiting anxiously in the ward. Seeing that the patient was finally found, he immediately started treatment without saying a word. Fortunately, Ah Liu's physical fitness and resilience are as strong as his fighting talent. After the treatment, he woke up early the next morning, and checked his physical condition for the first time to make sure that the magic power was still there. Just rest assured. When the non-orcs in the medical area came to examine him, they found that he was holding the knife with both hands. The air around the knife was twisting and dancing as if there was colorless magic power flowing, and the black mark on the collarbone was very obvious, obviously he was practicing his magic control .
"You haven't recovered yet, you can't use magic for five days!" The green-haired non-orc roared in his ear, feeling that he was about to collapse. Why is this female so disobedient? ! He really wanted to kick him out of the medical area, drag him into the blacklist and set him as a refusal from now on, but he has Lord Phil's backing, and it seems that Lord Augustine is interested in him... This is simply bullying!
Ah Liu completely ignored this, didn't even give him a look, and still tried to control the colorless power with his mind.
Suddenly, a silver light flashed in front of his eyes, and then the magic disappeared as if it had evaporated out of thin air. Ah Liu raised his head with a frown, and saw Cedric beside the hospital bed with a thoughtful expression on his face. Seeing him looking up, the orc's eyes softened slightly, and he put on a smile.
"Your current body is still unable to support long-term use of magic, and you will suffer from problems if you don't pay attention to recuperation."
"...Is Cecil awake?" Unexpectedly, Ah Liu asked without arguing with him. Astonishment and curiosity flashed across his face, Cedric nodded and replied: "Well, do you want to take a look?"
As soon as Ah Liu turned over, he jumped up from the bed and looked at Cedric: "Lead the way." Yesterday he was running around to avoid pursuit, and he was not very conscious when he was injured, so he had no memory of the road at all.
I originally planned to carry him, but it seemed impossible. Cedric watched his actions with regret. If he used strong words, he would probably only fight again, or wait for him to recover from his injuries. Thinking of this, the smile on the corner of his mouth became more gentle.
Fortunately, the journey was not far away. A few minutes later, Cecil couldn't help but be surprised when he saw the female who walked into his room with a blank expression: "The doctor asked you to get out of bed so quickly?"
"It's none of their business." Ah Liu sat down calmly and answered, not feeling that there was anything wrong with this answer at all. Cedric followed him and sat on the edge of the bed, smiled at his younger brother, and then returned his attention to Ah Liu.
"That's it." Cecil laughed suddenly, never seen someone who was so righteous in not cooperating with the treatment, winked at him and said: "Then, thank you for coming to see me."
Ah Liu still shook his head calmly, and pointed to the oil painting of the night sky on the wall with his right hand: "I'm here to get a gift, I forgot yesterday."
Cecil wanted to laugh, but what came out of his mouth was a cough. After finally straightening out his breath, his eyes fell on the scimitar on Phil's waist. It was something he had a chance with yesterday: "Your weapon seems to be very good."
Ah Liu pulled out the knife with a "chuckle", held the handle of the knife with one hand and handed it to Cecil, looking at him without saying a word, as if waiting for him to reach out to take it. Cedric next to him couldn't help raising his eyebrows. God knows how much effort they put in yesterday, but he couldn't let go of his hand holding the knife. He was really generous to his younger brother.
