Chapter 587: Chapter 587: Sue Family

Seraphina Vaughn clicked her tongue twice, rudely scolding, "None of them are any good."

Audrey Sutton nodded in agreement, then suddenly remembered that this girl in the black dress seemed to be the same girl Faye Xavier had by his side last time at her fourth brother’s bar.

Given Faye Xavier’s speed at switching women, it was rather unusual for this girl to still be around, wasn’t it?

Could it really be like Seraphina said, that this woman’s tricks were so high-level that even Faye fell for them?

"What are you doing?! You got my dress dirty! This is a limited edition, do you know how much it costs?!"

Audrey Sutton was lost in thought when she heard an angry and rude voice from a girl behind her.

Turning her head towards the source of the voice, she saw a middle-aged woman in servant attire apologizing humbly to a teenage girl.

It seemed like the servant accidentally spilled the liquid from the tray onto the girl. Even though the servant had already apologized, the girl continued to berate her, "Useless old thing! I’ll have my father fire you later!"

Seraphina Vaughn leaned close to Audrey Sutton’s ear and whispered, "That’s the heiress of the Sue family, Grace Sue. She’s quite a handful, always making mountains out of molehills. Don’t be fooled by her young age; she interfered in a rich wife’s family when she was barely an adult, causing quite a stir. You’d better keep a close eye on your husband; if this girl sets her sights on him, she’s not easy to shake off."

Audrey Sutton looked at Grace Sue with disdain and said, "She’s not even prettier than me, how could my Third Young Master possibly be interested in her?"

Seraphina Vaughn said, "Whether the Third Young Master is interested is one thing, but being targeted by her is another. The wife in that case was almost thirty and surely more mature than you, but the little vixen almost drove her to suicide, and she’s still battling depression."

Audrey Sutton: "As long as my husband doesn’t pay her any attention, it’ll be fine."

Audrey thought, if Clarissa Morgan can’t stir up any trouble, she certainly doesn’t believe this little girl can bounce back?

Seraphina Vaughn said, "The Sue family’s relationships are a mess, and their reputation has always been bad. Take the Old Master Sue, for example; he’s been married four times. The first wife supposedly didn’t give him children. The eldest son, the second son, and even Grace Sue have different mothers. The first two wives were kicked out of the family. Now, Grace Sue’s birth mother is the favored one, which is why Grace is so overbearing."

Audrey Sutton’s mouth twitched slightly. Her own familial relationships were probably too simple, so she found all this hard to believe.

Seraphina Vaughn continued, "There’s also a fifteen or sixteen-year-old illegitimate daughter, born from a mistress Old Master Sue kept outside. That woman died in childbirth, so Old Master Sue brought the illegitimate daughter back home. Because of the scandalous nature, he never mentioned this young daughter to outsiders."

Audrey Sutton looked over at Grace Sue, who was bossing the servant around, and said, "I guess it runs in the family, no wonder Grace Sue behaves like this."

"So, be careful. This young girl has a dark heart!"

Audrey Sutton glanced at Shane Warner, who was standing in a group with her third brother, and didn’t feel overly worried that Grace Sue would make a move since she didn’t see Grace as a threat at all.

Young Master Warner had always been a bit disdainful of young girls, so Grace was nothing but a little brat to him, not worth even a second glance.

Audrey still felt that mature women like Clarissa Morgan, who had personal charm, were her biggest threat.

Just as she thought this, she saw Clarissa Morgan in the distance.

She and Quentin Sterling were dressed in matching outfits, appearing together as a couple, with no sign of discord on the surface.

But knowing they were divorced, Audrey Sutton felt there was some underlying discord between the two.

Especially Clarissa Morgan, who looked affectionate, holding Quentin’s arm but never glanced at him, whereas Quentin occasionally looked down at her.

While Audrey Sutton was observing Clarissa Morgan’s direction, she saw Grace Sue lifting her long skirt and jogging toward Clarissa Morgan.

The distance was too far to hear what they were saying, but watching Grace Sue happily holding Clarissa Morgan’s hand with a smile seemed like she was expressing admiration.

Soon, Grace Sue was taking a selfie with Clarissa Morgan, like a fan meeting her idol.

Seraphina Vaughn, nibbling on sunflower seeds, also looked towards Clarissa and Grace, saying, "Birds of a feather flock together, indeed."

"How could such a smart Young Master Sterling be so easily played by Clarissa Morgan?"

Seraphina Vaughn sighed, "Maybe he’s just pretending to be naïve. Clarissa Morgan certainly has the allure to make people foolishly infatuated with her."

"Thankfully, my Third Young Master has a keen eye for bitches."

Just as Audrey Sutton finished speaking, she saw Miles Sterling appear beside Quentin Sterling, seemingly to greet him, but everyone who knew their relationship knew Miles was likely just there to irritate Quentin.

Beside Miles Sterling was a girl initially obscured by his body. When he led her away, Audrey recognized the girl as Vanessa Sterling.

Miles Sterling took Vanessa upstairs, seemingly to visit someone, so Audrey didn’t go over to find Vanessa.

The European-style castle was lavishly decorated, the music flowing in the hall was being played live by a band.

The atmosphere created by red wine, champagne, and flirtatious banter gave off a romantic yet secretly decadent vibe.

Who knows how many men and women would have an unforgettable encounter tonight.

"Hello, Miss Sutton."

Audrey Sutton, who was enjoying some dessert, looked up at the voice, seeing a man in a dark blue suit smiling at her.

The man had his hair slicked back, with a few strands casually hanging over his forehead, and wore silver metal-framed glasses above a prominent nose.

From the top half of his face, he looked like a cultured gentleman, but his mocking smile gave off a certain roguish aura.

He was probably the epitome of the so-called gentle scoundrels.

Audrey Sutton frowned, assessing the man, certain she had never met or knew him, yet he accurately stated her last name just now.

"...And you are?"

Almost as soon as Audrey Sutton asked, Seraphina Vaughn leaned over to her ear and whispered, "The second son of the Sue family, Brian Sue, similar to your husband’s circle, has practically exhausted the female modeling scene."

Brian Sue smiled, "Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I’m Brian Sue. I’ve long heard of the young Miss Sutton’s beauty. May I have the honor of being friends with Miss Sutton?"

After hearing Seraphina Vaughn’s words, there was no way Audrey Sutton dared to befriend him, so she awkwardly laughed, at a loss for what to say, when Brian Sue held out his phone with a QR code, "Miss Sutton, would you scan me?"
