Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Luxury Car Owner

Master Shane walked into the room and handed the bowl of sweet soup he was holding to Audrey Sutton: "Drink it while it’s hot."

Audrey reached out to take it, took a small sip, and then said to him: "Can you wait for my permission to come in next time you knock?"

"You’re going to allow it anyway, so why can’t I just come in? Or are you doing something in the room that can’t be seen by others?"

Audrey glared at him: "It’s basic manners, okay?"

Shane gave her a sideways glance, clearly not in the mood to talk about manners in front of her.

The sweet soup was still a bit hot, so Audrey placed the bowl on the table beside the bed and, seeing that Shane was still standing by the bed, asked him: "Is there anything else?"

Shane glanced around, didn’t answer, and then pointed at the sweet soup bowl with his chin, reminding her to finish it, and then he turned and left her room.

During this period, he had been puzzled by one thing: Why hadn’t she worn the clothes she bought at the morning fashion shop to show him?

The next day, Sunday.

Flora Lane gave herself a day off, and for the first time since the start of school, the four girls from her dorm gathered to go shopping.

After falling in love, Barry Barrett also changed her previous fashion style and bought a few sets of ladylike outfits.

Flora’s style was also shifting towards a professional woman.

Audrey was also dressing more maturely, not wanting Shane Warner to always treat her like a kid.

At noon, they chose a BBQ buffet restaurant for lunch, and the four girls chatted as they ate together.

Audrey suggested: "Do you want some shrimp? I’ll go get a couple of plates?"

Flora: "Don’t eat any shrimp. Your husband reminded us not to let you have seafood. What if you end up in the hospital and he blames us?"

Audrey muttered, "He won’t know."

"If no one wants it, I’ll go get two plates of beef." With that, Flora got up and went to the food area.

She was back in less than half a minute, bringing nothing with her and appearing quite excited and flustered. She sat down and whispered to them: "I saw the owner of that luxury car!"

Seraphina Vaughn turned and scanned around: "Where?"

Flora immediately adjusted Seraphina’s head: "Don’t look around, what if he notices me?"

Seraphina: "Wouldn’t it be good if he noticed you? It might be the start of your romance."

Flora: "Love my foot, what if he was just in a good mood at the time and didn’t let me pay, then later felt more cheated and decides to settle accounts if he sees me again?"

Even though Barry has a partner, she’s still drawn to good-looking guys. She asked, "So where’s the person? I want to see how handsome he is."

Flora didn’t dare turn her head, only described the direction to them: "It’s the third table to the left next to the food area."

Audrey looked in that direction but a pillar blocked that table.

Barry, from her position, could see and asked: "Two people, right? Which one?"

Flora: "The one in the gray suit."

"Oh~ he’s really handsome. His smile looks so nice."

Curious, Audrey leaned towards Barry, stretching her neck to take a look.

The third table next to the food area, gray suit...

This person... isn’t that Luc?

And sitting next to him is Faye Xavier.

So the person Flora mentioned is Luc?

"I know him," Audrey said.

Flora was stunned: "What do you mean?"

Audrey: "They’re friends of my husband. You should know the one in the dark blue suit; my husband sent him to pick me up from school before when he was busy."

Seraphina: "Now that you mention it, he does look a bit familiar."

Flora muttered: "No wonder he didn’t make me pay. As a friend of Third Young Master Warner, how could he let a little girl on a bicycle compensate him?"

Audrey smiled at Flora: "Want his contact info?"

Flora nodded knowingly: "You’re really my little darling, hurry up and get it for me."

"No need to get it, I have it on my phone, but... he’s not that reliable."

Barry: "A friend of the Third Young Master and unreliable?"

Audrey: "I’m saying he’s unreliable in relationships, kind of a playboy. Both of them are like that, always going to clubs to pick up girls, it’s not surprising for them to change girls daily."

Flora immediately looked disdainful: "Never mind then, can’t afford to play with them."

Seraphina: "Turns out most wealthy men aren’t serious."

Audrey boasted: "That’s right, not everyone is like my husband."

The three of them rolled their eyes at Audrey, and Flora picked up a piece of roasted beef and tossed it into Audrey’s bowl: "Stuff your mouth and stop talking! You’re driving us mad!"

Audrey giggled and put the piece of meat into her mouth.

Flora: "You guys go get the food. I don’t want to risk going over in case I’m recognized, that’d be embarrassing."

Audrey: "I don’t want to go either, they all know me."

Barry: "I don’t want to go either, I’ve got a partner now, I should stay away from handsome guys."

Seraphina rolled her eyes at them: "I wonder just how lazy you all can get."

All three smiled at Seraphina, who set down her chopsticks and stood up: "What do you want to eat?"

"Beef."

"Chicken wings."

"And another strawberry mousse, I want another one of those."

"Grab a little more lettuce, there’s not much left here."

"Those tofu cubes are delicious too, get some more of those."

There was too much to carry, so Audrey got up to join Seraphina in going to the food area.

While they were picking food, Faye Xavier saw Audrey and immediately stood up and walked over: "Hey there, little sis-in-law, you’re eating here too?"

Audrey smiled and replied: "Yes, took advantage of the holiday to hang out with friends."

"Master Shane isn’t with you? We invited him for lunch and he didn’t show up."

Audrey gave a dry laugh and replied: "He doesn’t really like this kind of food."

Faye nodded in agreement: "That’s true."

Noticing the dishes in Audrey’s hands, Faye quickly reached out to help: "Let me carry that for you, sis-in-law. What else do you need?"

There were quite a few things Audrey wanted, so when Faye offered to help carry them, she accepted: "Thank you, Brother Xavier."

"No need to thank me, it’s just a small thing."

Other than his messy personal life, Faye was a decent person. Maybe someday a girl would appear who could settle him down, and he might turn his life around.

However, recalling how Flora described the luxury car owner earlier, Audrey felt it didn’t sound like Luc.

Considering Luc’s temperament, even if he let Flora off without paying, he’d probably leave grumbling, not gently asking if she was hurt or if she needed to see a doctor.

Perhaps she didn’t know Luc very well either, maybe Luc also had a gentle side?
