Chapter 228: Chapter 228: I Prefer Small Breasts

The flight attendant smiled and said, "Our crew also acts as agents for this wine. If you like it, sir, you can add me on WhatsApp. This wine is only available in Serephina, and it’s hard to buy it domestically. If you need it in the future, you can contact me, and it will be shipped directly from the manor."

Seeing the QR code offered by the flight attendant and the profile picture in the middle, Audrey Sutton, also a woman, didn’t believe the young lady was so eager just to promote the wine. She naturally saw through the flight attendant’s little scheme. Recalling the scene of herself crying miserably while watching him marry someone else, Audrey Sutton decided to nip this potential problem in the bud.

Shane Warner had no intention of scanning this QR code because he understood Audrey Sutton too well.

Moreover, her expression had already warned him.

If anyone was to scan it, it would have to be her.

Before the flight attendant could hold the QR code awkwardly for too long, Audrey Sutton smiled and said to the young lady, who had been ignoring her, "What’s your name?"

The flight attendant was taken aback, not understanding why Audrey Sutton asked this. Without waiting for a response, Audrey Sutton slightly propped herself up, craned her neck to read the name on the flight attendant’s badge, and smiled, "Paige Nash?"

The flight attendant’s smile froze, puzzled by Audrey Sutton’s actions, thinking she might be about to be complained about.

Soon after, she saw Audrey Sutton sit back in her seat, nodding with a smile to praise her, "Your work attitude is commendable, your service thoughtful, and the wine promotion well done. But I think you should put away the QR code for now."

Relieved by the compliment, the flight attendant did not put away her phone. Instead, she continued speaking to Shane Warner, "If you find the wine nice, sir, you could add it. In case you want to drink it next time, you won’t need to take a flight just for it, unlike a previous passenger."

Audrey Sutton smiled, rummaging through her bag, but couldn’t find her brother Franklin’s business card, which she remembered having previously, probably lost carelessly.

So she turned to Shane Warner and asked, "Honey, do you have my brother Franklin’s business card?"

The tender "honey" from Audrey made Shane Warner feel something was off, unsure of what she intended, but he reached into the inner pocket of his suit to take out the card holder. He still had the card Franklin Sutton had given him before.

Audrey Sutton took the card, its "Apex Group" label prominently in print, and handed it to the flight attendant, saying, "As a minor shareholder of Apex Group, seeing your hard work in promoting it, I decided to offer you a personal discount. You can use this card to register your details at Apex Manor and get a flat 50% discount on future bulk prices."

The flight attendant took the card, dazed, while Audrey Sutton continued smiling harmlessly, "So, go ahead and let the next passenger scan your QR code. If my husband wants to drink the wine, I’ll make sure he has it. Besides, my husband never adds strangers on WhatsApp."

The flight attendant awkwardly smiled, finally retracting her phone, and thanked Audrey Sutton a couple of times before moving to the next passenger.

She had noticed Shane Warner when he boarded, aware of the woman he was protectively accompanying.

Though she considered they might be together, she thought Audrey Sutton seemed too young. Surely, a successful man like Shane Warner couldn’t resist a mature and alluring woman.

Confident in her own looks, she thought she might sway Shane Warner, and if things developed privately, she could maybe even quit her job and become a wealthy lady, free to buy any handbag she desired.

She didn’t aspire to be married publicly; she only wanted money, especially when the other party was such a handsome guy. Regardless of the success of their private development, she felt she’d never lose.

But she didn’t expect the young girl to have such substantial background, being a shareholder of Apex Group, explaining why Shane Warner didn’t spare her a glance. Her fantasy of finding a rich man collapsed.

Watching the flight attendant’s less enthusiastic promotion to the next passenger than she did to Shane Warner, Audrey Sutton noticed.

When discussing buying wine, she didn’t take out her QR code for scanning but instead mentioned where in the airport to find a flagship store.

It seemed Audrey Sutton hadn’t misjudged this potential trouble.

Once the flight attendant was afar, Audrey Sutton withdrew her gaze, glanced at Shane Warner sipping his wine, and asked, "Do you think she’s pretty?"

Shane Warner set down his wine glass, wary that the question was a trap.

After a brief silence, he replied, "I didn’t get a good look."

Audrey Sutton continued, "Big eyes, an oval face, a generous chest, slim waist, tall and long legs. I find her quite attractive."

After speaking, she observed Shane Warner’s expression.

Shane Warner glanced back at her and said, "But I prefer smaller chests."

Audrey Sutton looked at him, glancing down at her own chest, instinctively puffing it out a bit.

Even if he said that, she wouldn’t admit to having a small chest—it’s a matter of women’s pride.

Though his answer might have been partly dishonest, it was diplomatically intelligent, deftly avoiding an answer that might upset her.

She sipped the juice in hand, paused to check, then dissatisfied, asked, "I didn’t say I wanted juice."

Shane Warner cast a sidelong look her way, saying nothing.

"I also want to try whether the wine poured by that young lady is better," Audrey Sutton said, reaching over to take Shane Warner’s wine glass.

Shane Warner didn’t stop her, allowing her to taste the wine in his glass.

"It indeed tastes quite good."

Shane Warner ignored her, wishing to dodge the vinegary atmosphere from the air lingering around the "flight attendant" topic. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Unexpectedly, after setting the glass down, Audrey Sutton asked, "If I wasn’t here, would you have added her on WhatsApp earlier?"

Shane Warner responded, "I never add strangers on WhatsApp."

Finding his reply mirroring her own fabrication, Audrey Sutton sensed evasion, smirked playfully, "Just be honest; I’m just curious. Even if you added, I wouldn’t blame you."

Shane Warner felt her smile was too familiar, similar to her smile when handing the card to the flight attendant.

He naturally wouldn’t fall for her bluff and leap into her trap, so Shane Warner answered, "I would add but then delete once off the plane."

Audrey Sutton frowned, puzzled, "Why? Wouldn’t you want to know more after adding?"

Shane Warner explained, "Adding her is merely professional respect, like when someone hands you a flyer on the street, and you accept it out of courtesy, even if you later discard it—it was a moment of courtesy."
