Leaving the mall, Mia Foster got into her car. She was originally just bored and wanted to go out to clear her mind, but unexpectedly, she stumbled upon her future father-in-law’s mistress.

In his office, Felix Shaw was sitting on the sofa, eating lunch with a box of rice in his hand, and two stir-fried dishes on the coffee table.

"You’re here." Felix looked over indifferently, his handsome face not showing any additional emotion because of Mia’s sudden appearance.

"Having lunch?" Mia entered and casually closed the door of the office behind her.

"Yeah, have you eaten yet?" Felix looked away and continued eating.

Recalling the disheartening encounter at noon, Mia walked over leisurely and sat down next to Felix, "I haven’t eaten yet. I was planning to have you take me along."

Felix looked at her and after a moment’s thought, put the food box aside, "Let’s go then, we’ll eat out."

She was merely looking for an excuse for her abrupt visit, having seen Oliver Shaw keeping a mistress outside, she felt sorry for him and wanted to come and see how he was doing.

"No need, I’ll just eat this with you."

Seeing Felix getting ready to stand up, Mia quickly pressed him back down and said with feigned modesty, "Actually, I had a little to eat earlier. The food wasn’t very good, so I didn’t eat much."
