Mr Alpha, I Am Not Your Typical Lady!-Chapter 131) He’s a friend.
Chapter 131: Chapter 131) He’s a friend.
Discarding my thoughts, I stood up and fixed my gaze on the Lycan king. "What am I supposed to do with him?". My hands were placed on my waist as I said.
With one of my hands still holding onto my waist, my other hand made its way to my temple and massaged it.
’Clara, you should think about it. All this while the Lycan King has revealed himself to us, he has not for once hurt us’.
"What are you trying to say, Elektra?". I asked her almost immediately because I could understand where she was heading to with her words.
’We can’t possibly leave him here after learning that he had been wronged almost all of his life’.
"So what are you suggesting I do? Do you expect me to take him to my hotel room?". I casually said to her, and when she didn’t reply to me, my eyes widened.
"What?! You want me to take him with me to my hotel room?".
’Sure, Clara’.
I roughly showed out my palms and tightened the muscles in my hands. "Are you sure that you are alright right now, Elektra? What do you mean that I should take him to my hotel room?". I asked her.
’Tsk. Don’t pretend, Clara. Be honest with me. Don’t you feel bonded to him? If you don’t, I do. Look here, I am not trying to tell you to accept him as our mate. What I am only trying to tell you is that you should not leave him here. Take him back with you. After all, your powers have grown stronger and you are not inferior to him anymore. If he turns out to be a jerk, you can deal with him’.
I sighed and loosened the muscles in my hands. "You are giving me a serious headache, Elektra".
’I know’. She admitted and sounded proud of herself. What a rascal she is.
"What if he regains consciousness?". I asked.
’Well, if he regains consciousness, there is no need for him to stay with us. We are not his babysitters’. Elektra explained, and the word ’babysitter’ reminded me of someone that I ought to be looking after.
Anders!
Though I didn’t panic, for I was quite aware that Anders was with Beta Damien, and I knew that Beta Damien would not stand idle if black shadow appeared out of the blue and tried to possess Anders’ body.
But despite that, I began to hurry up. I rushed to the table and took the vial I had kept there earlier.
After I took the vial, I teleported to Bella’s vip room with the Lycan King. Of course, I left the hideous hybrid creature behind.
President Michael and Jace, who were in the room, flinched, since I had scared them, as I appeared out of nowhere.
They seemed to be leaving when I arrived.
"Alpha Anastasia". Jace removed the hand placed on the left side of his chest as he came forward and said to me.
"Huh. Wh- who is this?". He pointed a finger at the Lycan King who was on the floor.
I didn’t answer him and went ahead and stood by the side of the bed. Staring at the vial in my hand and glancing at the blue liquid in it, I breathe deeply. ’Better work. Don’t you dare let my hard work go down the drain’. I thought to myself, before I bent down a little bit and fed the liquid to Bella after opening her mouth.
"Is that the cure for my daughter’s sickness?". President Michael asked me, and I noticed him standing beside me.
I didn’t bother to look at either him or his son, as my gaze was fixed on Bella. She had furrowed her eyebrows and rolled on the bed, making me anxious.
I would hate it if the antidote I made for her caused her situation to worsen.
"Come on". I groaned and muttered. My voice was stressed.
I don’t even want to imagine how I would feel if the antidote did not work after spending hours of trying to make it.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
Bella coughed three times in a row. Her hands clutched her chest, and her eyes finally opened as she gasped. Suddenly, beads of sweat formed on her forehead and were sliding down her temples.
Staring at the ceiling, she weakly said, "Where am I?".
When no one answered her, she slowly turned to her side.
"Fa-ther? Brother?". She said to them, and hearing President Michael and Jace sniffing, I turned to them and saw that tears were streaming down their eyes.
"Bella!". President Michael shouted, and as he wanted to embrace Bella, she sat up on the bed and vomited bad blood.
’This is what I was waiting for. My antidote actually worked’. I thought to myself and was proud of myself. I knew I would succeed. After all, I am Clara Hensley.
"I have fulfilled my word and treated your daughter, President Michael. Have the doctors continue her treatment, for my work here is done". I said to him, before I turned away and faced the direction of the Lycan King.
’Forgive me, dear Lycan King, for making you stay on the floor like that’. I thought.
And before I teleported away, I added, "Make sure you don’t go back on your word, President Michael, because you would hate to see me get angry. You had better work together with the shadows’ pack in eliminating the hybrid creatures and the wild beasts".
"Wait, Alpha-".
I heard Jace’s voice as I teleported away with the Lycan King.
...
I arrived in the living room of my hotel room, where I saw Beta Damien, Fireball, Irving and Anders waiting for me.
They had come to the hospital 3 hours ago, but I sent them back and ordered them to wait for me in the hotel room.
I told them that because I wasn’t sure if I would return home tonight.
Bella was in a critical condition, and I had to make the antidote for her as soon as possible. Assuming President Michael hadn’t told me about Bella’s condition sooner, she would have died, and her life would have been wasted unnecessarily.
But wait, what is black shadow doing? Why hasn’t he attacked again? Not that I want him to attack. But I feel unsettled.
Beta Damien, who was standing, fixed his gaze on the Lycan King who was on the ground.
"Oh". I muttered, before I levitated the Lycan King off the ground and made him lie down on the long sofa, causing both Fireball and Irving to jump down from the sofa.
"Who is he?". Beta Damien asked me and I became confused.
Last time, didn’t he perceive this particular scent of the Lycan King? So what does he mean by that question?
Still suspicious of the matter, I replied to Beta Damien, "He’s a friend".
