The mobile fortress is a top-grade rank 5 artifact. That means it has a tolerance limit of 10B.

That is ten times more powerful than what the Sun King can dish out. So while they can’t harm the Sun King because of the limit of the world, the Sun King also can’t harm them however he wishes.

Only the special bomb made out of the special rock that tears through energy shields like butter can hope to breach the defense of the mobile fortress.

In the past, the Sun King would have thought it too shameless and beneath him to use the special bomb because it meant admitting that he was weak. But after struggling impotently to stop the mobile fortress, he changed his mind and thought that the bomb wasn’t so bad.

The Sun King was willing to stoop to any level to open up the invisible shell around the mobile fortress and smash the runt of a man that mocked him into mush. So he decided to leave to grab one of the special bombs.

But before he could leave, golden chains suddenly appeared and bound him. The golden chains formed a large net in the sky. The area of the golden net that was close to the Sun King clung to him and gathered as they tried to form a cocoon around him.

The golden chains were very strong. This was made immediately clear by the fact that they didn’t immediately melt or vaporize like everything else that comes close to the Sun King. But the golden chains were more dangerous than that.

The golden chains were siphoning the power of the Sun King. Their mode of action was similar to the way the domain of the Ethera tree was encroaching on the power of the world spirit of Aries.

The anger of the Sun King receded like a tide after he realized that he was in danger. Then he began to panic when he asked the world spirit what to do, but received no reply.

It was now that he realized that he had been cut off from Aries. But this understanding also came with the threat of death. This caused a wave of fear to replace the anger that he was feeling earlier.

He had always been afraid of death ever since he understood that he wasn’t the strongest in the world. But this time, the fear was overwhelming. This was because the danger and the threat of death were real, not imagined, like he used to do.

He said to himself, "I am weakening by the moment. If this continues, I will die."

He, too, had realized that there was very little that his enemies could do as long as his strength was at the limit of the world. But now that he was weakening, the things that couldn’t harm him before could kill him. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

His fears were confirmed when he sensed the metallic enemy that wields lightning rushing towards him. He realized that he was running out of time to do something to change his situation.

In a few seconds, the metallic enemy would reach him. If that happens, he will die. In order to avoid that fate, he did something that he wouldn’t have done in a normal situation. He self-destructed.

The giant body of the sun king expanded to three times its normal size. Then the extra size that he just gained exploded outwards from him.

He didn’t commit suicide, though. His core was still alive. He only became severely injured and weakened.

The strength of the Sun King dropped by 90%. But his sacrifice was worth it. By expanding his body and creating an explosion that pushed the golden chains away, he created a gap for his now much smaller body to escape through.

The Sun King had swaggered over with pomp and fury, but now he was running for his life. He was fleeing with his tail between his legs. No one was willing to let this opportunity go.

Thor saw the sorry state of the Sun King and became gleeful. He grinned wildly as he pointed at the small ball of fire and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Shoot down that firefly for me. Shoot him down."

The Sun King was weak, but that didn’t mean that he had slowed down much. In fact, his speed had increased now that he had shed some of his weight. So the only way to hit him was to use the spears of light guns.

No matter how fast the Sun King was, he couldn’t outrun light. So the spears of light struck him no matter how he tried to dodge them.

He was still highly resistant to light, heat, and fire, but he wasn’t as powerful as he used to be, so the spears of light were able to harm him. The fact that he was missing his plasma outer shell made the injuries from the spears of light capable of accumulating to the point that they would kill him.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have much time to shoot at the Sun King before he escaped the domain and entered the world of Aries. The Sun King was able to restore his connection to the world and begin healing with the support of the world.

But even with the renewed support of the world, his weakened state was largely unchanged. He was still severely injured and needed time to recuperate. So he continued to escape.

Arthur saw the whole event and wanted to step forward to chase the Sun King. But he gave up on that thought when the Sun King crossed the edge of the domain back into Aries.

He stopped because it was common sense not to step into the world of Aries if one couldn’t bear the wrath of the world. This was further proven when Thunder Drake crossed the barrier of the domain in pursuit of the injured Sun King and was immediately struck by angry winds.
