The Sun King saw the rapid weakening of his soldiers and became furious. His two large eyes widened in anger when the World Spirit told him that every Vulcan on the battlefield had become sick.

He became so angry that he decided to break his rule of not directly interfering in the battle below. He had wanted to he on standby to stop the strongest of the invaders, but now he thought that wiping out the source of this illness was a better idea.

With his decision made, he descended in anger. The enemy was behind their domain, but he didn’t care. He continued to smash down with fury and fire.

He quickly shouted to everyone around him, "Retreat. Retreat immediately."

Thor also sensed the incoming danger and tried to stop it by redirecting all the guns to the sky.

A golden Spear of Light shot into the sky and struck the Sun King head-on. But this powerful energy attack only tickled the Sun King. This was because he was highly resistant to heat, light, and fire.

The Spear of Light is mostly highly energized light, so it couldn’t harm the Sun King. The most that several Spears of Light could do was irritate the surface of the Sun King and slow him down. They were simply incapable of breaching his defense.

Seeing as the energy attacks didn’t work, Thor switched to the rail guns and their armor-piercing rounds. He watched with a hopeful gaze as several enchanted canisters of metal sailed into the air and smashed into the descending star.

This time, the effect of the guns was better. The giant armor-piercing rounds managed to penetrate the thick outer shell made of plasma around the Sun King. Then they exploded within the shell.

The explosion was spectacular, but this still wasn’t enough to injure the Sun King because they only scratched the surface. The armor-piercing rounds formed large craters on the surface of the body of the Sun King and staggered him, but they weren’t enough to stop him.

If anything, the fact that his defense was breached a little bit only made the Sun King angrier. He roared and picked up speed as he smashed down onto the mobile fortress.

The large fire ball in the sky smashed into the barrier of the mobile fortress and caused a great explosion to occur at the point of contact. The explosion was deafening, and it caused the mobile fortress to shake a little bit. But the mobile fortress was fine.
