I said as I stepped out of the teleportation formation, in a small but prosperous city.

It is two-hundredth and eighty-third cities in the past three months. These three months weren't easy, nearly every day, I traveled and spent a massive amount of money.

I have also paid an inordinate number of bribes.

I had paid a bribe before, many times, but not as much as this. Sometimes, the teleportation would close for normal people. The bribes helped me countless times, to get into the list, where I couldn't go through the normal means.

I hadn't only traveled through the teleportation gates. Many times, I needed to travel on my legs, and I am glad I had planned well.

It helped tremendously.

I walked to the counter and confirmed my booking to the next spot. Since it is a small city, with only one long-distance teleportation gate; I would need to wait for six hours before it is tuned to the city, where I want to go.

From there, I had will travel to three cities one after another, before taking a leg route to travel into the territory of another organization.

It will take three to four days before I will be able to take the formation again.

Thanking the man on the counter, I walked into the city. My first destination is the information broker. I had learned a lesson by wasting a week, that one should always have the latest information.

Now whenever I have a break of three or more hours, I would always buy information. It didn't matter if I had brought the information just yesterday.

I already knew where the information brokers in Arzin were and I had brought the news from them, before booking a room in the inn.

There I quickly freshened up and ate lunch before starting to practice the method, under the protection of a powerful defensive formation.

Till three months ago, my usual time of practicing the methods was at dawn, but now, it is anytime in the day. The traveling had messed up my schedule.

Now, I sleep and practice whenever I have time.

I like my schedule, but traveling makes it difficult to follow it, and I am not going to waste time following it when I could be crossing the cities.

I had finished over a third of the journey. There is still a lot that remains, and I rather use it every hour, because I am only traveling through the continent. Traveling out of it is going to be even longer and dangerous.

I finished practicing both of the methods and showered before entering my core.

I appeared in my core with the route flashing in front of me. The next city is Inik and after that it is Yavar; it is a bright green color, like the next four cities, all of them belonging to the same organization.

The organization which has agreements with Tor.

I am not the only person in the organization who entered the other continent. It is far more common and for it, there are agreements across the organization.

If I went to them, they would provide me protection and a safe route to Tor, but it was too slow. It takes years and sometimes decades and above; I don't want to wait for that long and unless I have no choice, I won't be revealing myself.

I stayed there a minute more before walking into the library.

Since I started travelling. I am less time than I like to work on my inheritance, but I am using every minute, I have and made better progress than I had imagined.

The inheritance is progressing smoothly and so are my classes with the teacher. I am also making good progress in my other projects.

I am very excited about them, and one of them should be finished soon. Then, I could send it to my clone for the forging.

I stayed in my core, till it was time to leave, before walking out of the room.

I reached the square half an hour before the teleportation opened for Inik. There were already people gathered, and I joined them in one empty chair, before closing my eyes.

Time passed, and soon, there were only five minutes before the opening of teleportation. They had already closed the gates and now looking at it, placing the energy stone and looking at parts.

Teleportation gates are one of the most delicate tools and dangerous tools.

Delicate because they need constant maintenance and dangerous because the slightest problem could throw one into the space sea, where one only has one end.

Just two weeks ago. One teleportation gate had malfunctioned the day before I was supposed to have entered it. It had sent a group of people go knowns where, likely into the space sea, as they were not able to find them.

It is dangerous, but what other choice do I have?

If I had covered the distance with legs, which I had covered with teleportation gates. It would have taken me decades; that's how efficient these gates are.

"Everyone, line up!" said the guard.

Immediately, we all lined up according to our token, while they fiddled with the gate. I hope it is just general maintenance, not like one and a half months ago.

It was a small city like this one, and the problem was big. It took them a day and a half to fix the problem before they could activate the gate, and everyone could move to their destination.

Thankfully, nothing of that sort had happened here.

At exactly three, they activated the teleportation formation and people began to enter inside.

I was a little further in line, but the people moved quickly and a little over a minute later, it was my time to step into the teleportation formation.

I didn't waste any time and stepped into the teleportation formation. A few seconds later, I stepped out on the other end.

The moment, I did. I know, I am in trouble. It is not the city at the other end that I had been expecting.
