It was repelled instantly; I was about to try again, but stopped and instead moved the string toward the palm-sized green gem embedded in it.

I sent the soul sense inside the gem, and it entered, immediately changing the world in front of me.

I was looking at the world, stopping myself from reacting, when a flood of information entered my mind. It was so much, that even with the help of the clones, it took me a while to sort this out.

'Fuck!' I cursed in amazement.

The gem is one of the control gems and it showed me, what it could do, or rather, the tree could do. It is capable of doing everything that cultists have said and more, but it couldn't do more than cleanse the body and soul.

After thousands of years, everything had disappeared. I would need to fill it with those things, if I want those enhancements, they had talked about.

The only reason, it could do the cleansing is due to special worldly energy. They absorb it, process it and make it a cleansing energy that is suitable for others.

I could control the function too through the green gem, but the green gem didn't have power. The red gem hadn't just provided the control, but also the power to do it, and without it, I couldn't stop it.

Now, I am really feeling, I should have screamed.

"Now, you can all forget to leave," said the Dwarf with an evil laugh.
