Ding!
Looking at the two screens that appeared before his field of vision, Valyr decided to familiarize himself first with the contents on the left screen before proceeding with the right.

"Once I meet up with Thomas and the others later and ask them to join, the guild will have 4 members in total," said the young man to himself, faintly nodding as the screen contained all of the important information he needed to know about the guild.
Though he knew that he could check each part in greater detail with a few commands from the system, Valyr decided to leave that option for now, thinking that someone like Thomas would be a far better person for the job.
Being reminded that the guild would actually have 5 members because Thomas' friend also planned on joining, the young man eventually shifted the gaze towards the right screen.
Seeing how the system gave him the option to buy and upgrade as many buildings and facilities he wanted on it, the young man wryly smiled for a bit before putting all of the buildings and facilities he had yet to unlock to the side.
With all of the important buildings and facilities remaining on the screen, it was only then did Valyr look through each option in detail.

"I knew choosing to make the guild an all-around type was the right choice." Smiling as he read through the various options that were available for him to choose from, Valyr did not take long to notice the perk that he could unlock.
Of course, the young man had already expected the option to be available the moment he opened it, considering that it was the reason why he chose to make the guild an all-around type in the first place.
"If I remember correctly, only the mercenary and merchant-type guilds have a similar perk than this," murmured Valyr as he briefly thought back to what he could recall about the matter.
"For mercenary guilds, they're able to create an assassination division in their guild, while merchant guilds are able to create a production division in their guild."
"And if I remember correctly, exploration and information guilds have something different." The young man scratched the back of his head at the thought. "Something along the lines of being able to form multiple teams."
"…Or was it groups?"
"In any case, since I chose to make the guild an all-around type, I can create a division for each other type of guild that exists,'" said the young man to himself with a slight smile, choosing to obtain the perk before making any other choice.
However, just as he thought that he only needed to pay a certain fee in order to unlock the perk for the guild, the system told him that he needed to level up the guild hall first before he'd be able to unlock it.
Considering that he initially planned on upgrading the guild hall either way, the young man did not mind the hindrance that much, only for his thoughts to immediately change once he saw that the perk first needed him to evolve the guild hall to the Basic tier.
"Guess I'll have to push the thought of getting the perk aside for now," said Valyr with a slight sigh, inwardly convincing himself that he didn't need the perk just yet.
Thankfully, it didn't take him too much to convince himself to think that way, reminding himself that divisions wouldn't see any use until after most players reached the early mid-game of Greater Beyond.
With that, he instead focused his sights on upgrades that would bring immediate benefit to both him and the other players of the guild.
"System, I would like to upgrade the guild hall by a level." Ding!
As those words left his mouth, the system quickly responded back by giving him a quote on how much it would cost to upgrade the Rudimentary Guild Hall to Level 2.
Seeing that it would only cost him a few more silver coins than the amount he spent to build it, the young man went ahead and gave the system the green light, which prompted the system to immediately get to work.
Whoosh!
Unfortunately, just as he thought that the system would make visual modifications to the guild hall in front of him, the system instead did the opposite, merely enveloping the guild hall in an ethereal, iridescent energy.
Ding!
Getting a notification that the upgrade was a success a few seconds later, Valyr inwardly cried at the missed opportunity the system could have given him, only to then continue upgrading the guild hall a bit more.
From Level 2 to Level 5, all the young man needed to offer was a small chunk of the money he had in order for the upgrade to proceed.
However, that all changed by the time he wanted to upgrade the hall to Level 6.
By then, the price the system gave him also needed him to offer up Guild XP, which was basically unused XP that had been contributed to the guild for others to use.
Of course, with him still having a considerable amount of unused XP left over from the leveling spree he previously went through, Valyr went ahead and donated a good chunk of it to the guild, allowing him to push the guild hall all the way to Level 8.
Whoosh!
Obtaining a notification from the system that the guild hall had been successfully upgraded, Valyr faintly nodded in satisfaction before deciding to take a look at the guild's current perks.
Seeing that it now offered a 19% increase to both XP and gold gain, the young man felt that he had upgraded the guild hall far enough for now, especially after the cost needed to upgrade the hall to the last two levels was more money and XP than what he currently had left.
With that, he set his sights onto the other options that were available for him, skipping over most of the options that needed certain facilities or certain upgrades beforehand.
Eventually, his eyes landed upon a certain building that basically acted as an additional perk for the guild.
Seeing that he met the necessary conditions and had the leeway to afford its construction, Valyr did not hesitate to select it, placing it about 50 meters away from the guild hall's entrance before accepting the prompt.
