Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva-Chapter 384 - 129: Analyzing One by One
Within the underground training ground of Edith Academy, Tilan sat beside the pool, the water clear and reflecting ripples of light under the glow of the fluorescent lamps above.
She closed her eyes and gently lifted her palm, then a deep blue flame emerged, twisting and gradually turning into a small blue ring of fire, which was not much larger than a hand. It spun over the surface of the water and then shed sparks, tiny embers that, despite their insignificant size, instantly froze the water upon contact, forming sharp, spiky ice flowers.
Soon, the entire pool was frozen over, covered with large patches of ice flowers billowing with cold air.
"Still a long way from the teacher’s ice chrysanthemum," she muttered as she slowly opened her eyes, recalling the skills she had learned from that Ghost Princess.
Because her talent and crystallization were related to aggregation, which is very similar to the formation of ice, she was also for this reason able to quickly learn many of the Ice Elf Secret Arts taught by the Ghost Princess.
Although she had memorized a lot of things from the Ghost Princess, she had truly mastered only a few due to the inevitable limits of time and energy.
After finishing her training, she had begun to summarize and selectively study during this period.
Biting off more than one can chew is never good, she thought. Knowing a lot of impressive secret techniques and abilities is one thing, but mastering them takes time. For now, she focused on the few categories in which she grew fastest.
Speaking of which, it’s been a while since I’ve been back to Yuanting Academy. I’ll need to sort out Edith Academy’s affairs this week and make time to visit there; I did promise to visit Mel’s house last time.
Shaking her head to clear the clutter of thoughts, the girl stood up. Her eyes closed and then opened again, revealing a faint blue light. The frozen pool returned to liquid form as the transparent crystals instantly melted away.
At present, her strongest form was to go all out, recklessly combining both of her talents like the glorious moon that rose that night in Lebyon, but this form was too shocking. If fully exposed, she didn’t know what kind of waves it would cause within the Federation, and she likely wouldn’t be able to control the aftermath, so she generally refrained from using it.
Next was the Songstress form, using the Talent ’Soul Resonance’ of the Songstress to completely pull the opponent’s consciousness into her own mind world, just like when dealing with Ran Bei’er that night. It was Isenisha’s lingering song and memories that taught her this.
Then there was the use of the Ice Elf Secret Art taught by the Ghost Princess in combination with the Ability of the Withering Sequence, unveiling the might to freeze everything. She rarely used this Aspect as during her training there had not been enemies strong enough to require this level of power.
Last were swordsmanship skills, based on what she learned in childhood, combined with the legacy of Jielou City, and various secret techniques with different Secret Swords, which were quite flexible and suited for various situations with relatively low consumption.
After organizing and categorizing all the skills she possessed, Tilan prepared to leave; it was time to meet with today’s guest.
In the afternoon, at Edith Academy’s ’Black Cat Rika’ café.
The black-clad maids with cat ears and over-the-knee socks greeted the guests warmly, and then several curious students walked in to experience it.
The café’s interior was mostly decorated in black and walnut colors, with mostly indirect lighting that was very soft, creating a relaxing environment.
Although the staff wore black cat maid outfits, this was not the kind of maid cafe that offered special services. It was merely the owner’s taste and the uniqueness of the place, offering only simple beverages and food.

Tilan and Deloris sat in a private booth, the girl looking around with slight curiosity at her fresh surroundings, contrasting it with her own experience working at ’Dream of Glazed Glass’ the previous year.
"The environment here is quite nice, isn’t it?" Deloris asked with a smile.
"Yes, it’s very relaxing. Even the violins are playing soothing music," Tilan remarked succinctly.
"It belongs to a friend of mine, but she’s not in Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain at the moment, she’s recently gone to travel in the Sickle Seed Star Domain."

"You really have a wide network, Miss," Tilan remarked, not for the first time impressed by Deloris’s extensive connections.
"You’ll meet them eventually," Deloris said, her words sounding both encouraging and prophetic.
The two did not sit in the cafe for long before a girl carrying a handbag entered. She had deep brown hair and was dressed in a blue and white outfit with a white checkered bag slung over her shoulder.
"Long time no see, Yimi."
"Long time no see, Deloris," she said, pulling out a seat to sit down. Her gaze involuntarily shifted towards the black-haired girl sitting next to Deloris.
"This is Tilan, a current classmate and president of the club I’m in," she introduced to Yimi.
"Hello, I’m Tilan," the girl nodded in greeting,
"Yes, hello," Yimi responded, appearing slightly uncomfortable around Tilan, which did not match the image of a social butterfly the girl had in mind.
After the initial introductions, Yimi seemed to fall into an awkward silence. She wanted to break it but did not know what to say, especially since she and Deloris weren’t particularly close to begin with.
In middle school, Deloris already stood out as the most dazzling in the class: born into wealth, unmatched in looks, talent, abilities, and so on. She was almost untouchable compared to their classmates, too formidable to even be envied, and even if some were envious, they would only dare to whisper in secret, and not even to those they did not know well.
