Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva-Chapter 1588 - 66: Three Faction Branches (Part 2)
According to the agreement between the Federation and the Holy White Melody, the descendants of the newborn races here will all undergo genetic correction to revert to the original human form; this is the only way to ensure continuity. Henceforth, the Holy White Melody will primarily consist of original humans.
The personnel commemorating the Three Saints originally came from various Star Regions and Star Domains. However, due to the timing around the liberation of the Milky Way by the Federation and the distances between Star Domains, the factions gathered here are mainly from the ’White Radiance Rescue Association,’ ’Strontium Star Relief Association,’ and ’Aikoyi Dialogue Relief Association.’ Their descendants have also become permanent members of the Holy White Melody.
Among them, descendants of the ’White Radiance Rescue Association’ mostly serve as Priests and Nuns, responsible for the main rituals of the Holy White Melody. Following them is the ’Strontium Star Relief Association,’ known early on for their expertise in construction. Most of the renovation and construction projects on living stars were completed by them. Today, they are also responsible for the production of many export goods within the Holy White Melody.
The ’Aikoyi Dialogue Relief Association’ was originally famous for its psychological dialogue therapy. During the end of the Fifth Season Origin, under extreme stress and despairing conditions, many surviving humans suffered from psychological illnesses with a high suicide rate. The purpose of the association’s establishment was to rescue those in distress. Today, their descendants also develop secret technique products to aid in the practice of the Transcendent Sequence, exporting them to the Federation.
Upon receiving this report, Tilan’s feelings eased a bit. If the interior of the Holy White Melody was entirely composed of people from the ’White Radiance Rescue Association,’ she was considering whether or not to completely overhaul the people here.
That being said, the architecture here is indeed quite special, with a whimsical style at times like a children’s playground, full of childlike fantasy.
Go and meet the representative of the ’Strontium Star Relief Association’ descendants; Tilan set her schedule for the next few days.
...
"Welcome, Lady Tilan." The next day, Tilan met the leader of the current descendants of the Strontium Star Relief Association, a middle-aged man with a mustache.
"Your visit is such an honor to me, Lady Tilan, please have a seat." He wore a white suit, exuding a somewhat ancient style manner.
Though both his uniform and appearance leaned more towards a Western style, the decor of the hall where Tilan was received was of an Eastern style. It featured wooden Taishi chairs, square tea tables, and exquisitely carved beams of exotic beasts overhead, leaving one to wonder if this was specially prepared or just a personal preference.
After exchanging pleasantries, he inquired about Tilan’s purpose for visiting.
"I wonder what kind of assistance I can provide for you, Lady Tilan." He would definitely not assume that this renowned Songstress of the Federation was visiting out of boredom; there must be some reason behind it.
"I want to learn about the history of the Holy White Melody, and recently I’ve become interested in the unique architectural style here." Tilan slightly tilted her head, expressing her thoughts.
"That’s not difficult. Please allow me to elaborate for you, Lady Tilan." He expressed his confidence in this area, clearly their proud domain.
"Originally, this planet was cold and silent, lacking even an atmosphere and water. However, the Federation provided much aid in transforming this planet."
"Our ancestors, the members of the ’Strontium Star Relief Association,’ relied on the complex underground environment during the Fifth Epoch to build various underground defense structures to resist the pursuit of newborn races. Therefore, they had rich experiences in civil engineering and various sculptural constructions."
"During the end of the Fifth Epoch and the early Federation expansion, there were not many experts in large-scale engineering here; almost all came from the rescue association where our ancestors belonged. So, the early buildings on the living stars, like churches and statues of the Three Saints and God, were crafted by our ancestors. It’s for this reason that our advantage in these related industrial fields has been passed down until today."
"Nowadays, referring to ’Strontium Star Relief Association’ might feel quite distant; it’s more an indistinct cultural recognition in history. In my position as leader, I mainly handle some social remembrance events without much actual power," he explained humbly.
"What criteria did you follow when choosing the architectural style and constructing the statues?" Tilan was somewhat curious about this.
"Regarding the statues, that’s not difficult. During that galaxy-wide broadcast, images of the three sages were available, making it easy to extract those representations. The challenge lay in depicting the distinct qualities of the trio to highlight their sacredness and benevolence..." Unwittingly, he drifted into a related professional matter.
"As for the architectural style, it was actually influenced by Melaillo. In the records, Melaillo was the youngest of the three, still retaining a child’s innocence, thus having many expectations for the future, like children’s fondness for toys and amusement facilities."
"Melaillo learned from the databases about the living environments of humans in past eras. Her nature at the time yearned for fairy-tale style stories and amusement parks, as ancient records described children going there as very happy."
"This expectation and hope were documented by Melaillo in her diary, and parts of it were revealed in the final communication, during which the three disclosed their last wishes."
"To make up for this deficiency and respond to the sacrifices made by these Three Saints, significant buildings on this inhabited star have been constructed as much as possible in an imaginative, mimetic form like an amusement park. Hence, you can see trains passing through castle-like buildings, skyscrapers resembling pirate ships, and large landmarks akin to Ferris wheels, among other examples."
