Ryan smiled through crushed arms and destroyed legs. The Demons surrounding him looked at him with a much different gaze from the one they had used on his main body—they stared at Mark with greed and hope, but they stared at Ryan with a sense of dominance.

These demons already had him in their hands, now, he had no other way than to listen to their bid. Or so they thought. Him panicking and shouting all that had made them think like that, at least.

Ryan sneered. "Or wait. I told you you shouldn't kill me, now I change my mind—kill me. Kill me and kill yourselves along with me."

They just stared at his bleeding self. Ryan smirked. They were people who could notice fear when there was fear, and deep down, he felt no fear anymore. They must have noticed it; no longer did they try to intimidate him.

In fact, Ryan didn't particularly fear dying. He had just been taken off guard by their unexpected move of immediately killing him on-sight. He had thought they didn't even care about their own life, and were not even going to give him a chance to explain.

"Do you not fear dying, kid?" the Succubus asked curiously.

Ryan nodded. "I might have been afraid of death if this were not my clone."

Many of them cringed, they had been worried about that. But many of them were as composed-looking as earlier.

He explained. "This clone of mine was created earlier when I used the light surrounding me to distract you all. I planted it here earlier, and now, I came out because it is time. Even if you crush this clone to death, all I will lose is just a simple clone I made in a few minutes."

Of course, that was a big fat lie. If his Puppet died, his main body will also die.

The Grey-winged humanoid had a severe expression on his face. "What is your goal with making this clone?"

"Humph," the demon with the blade aura around him scoffed. "It's obvious. Why is there even a need to ask? He left a clone behind to squeeze out the benefits he could gain from us vulnerable, sealed demons. We all still have treasures in hand and he knows it."

The Succubus giggled. "Gaining the most benefits in any scenario, indeed it is a demonic way of doing things—but I like a man who knows what he wants. I like him, actually. Even though I am a bit mad that he scammed us. If I weren't sealed here, I wouldn't mind transforming him into one of my subordinates."

Ryan coughed, blood leaking down the sides of his lips. "Since you guys get it, can't you guys heal me? It is rather annoying to be limbless. My torn hands and feet feels a bit tingly too."

It was hurting like hell but no reason to tell them that.

"The woman might have liked you," the Blade-aura demon said coldly, snatching Ryan's small body from the Grey-winged humanoid. "but I have no interest or patience for you. I am in a mood to eat your soul even. So, before I do that, tell me—do you have any ways to let us escape this place?"

Ryan smirked. "Heal me first, why don't you? Let's talk eye to eye, otherwise it cannot be a fair deal."

"He means he won't talk without being healed," the Succubus said.

The Blade Demon laughed. "You won't talk without being healed? You don't think I could torture you into telling me everything you know?"

Ryan laughed back. "Torture me and you will lose relationship with the only creature you can rely on to escape this place. I could just cut the connection of my main body with this clone and I won't even have to experience the pain."

Mark couldn't cut his connection with the Puppet that simply, but no reason to tell them that.

The Blade Demon growled. Indeed, if Ryan was just a clone-type ability, it would make sense that Mark left it behind to gain more benefits for himself. If the main body would die when the clone is killed, the clone wouldn't have dared to get close to them.

To these demons, it made sense that Ryan was just a throwaway clone!

They didn't know that Mark left Ryan here as a sort of last minute decision.

He knew he would be in trouble after entering a World like the Star Fever World, so he had to leave Ryan behind to help him from behind the scenes somehow. The demons sealed here wouldn't know that!

It was natural they believed Ryan was a clone.

"So, what can you do to save us?" The Grey-winged Humanoid asked, looking at its own trembling hand. Indeed, the Blade Demon was much stronger than it, easily snatching Ryan away like that.

Ryan took a deep breath as all the demons stared at him. "I can get every one of you the Portal Key that you need. I can help save you all."

They visibly grew excited.

Indeed, Ryan might not be able to save them, but his main body could save them. They knew Mark could save them.

Mark just had to get some Portal Keys and find a way to deliver those here, and then, they could all escape using those Keys.

These demons were all reputable figures in the Demon World, so they all had subordinates one way or the other. If Mark were to visit those subordinates, he would be given the needed Portal Key from the subordinate to save their masters. And if they could promise something better for him in return, if Mark was not a fool, he wouldn't go against the deal.

"I am willing to cooperate with you," the Grey-winged Humanoid said first. "I just want your main body to give information on my current situation to my demon clan in return."

Ryan was a bit surprised. "I haven't even told you my demands," he said.

"As long as you give my information to them, I promise I won't dissappoint you." Continue your saga on novelbuddy

The Grey-winged humanoid demon, the one who had crushed Ryan's arms and feet, was the first one willing to cooperate.

But that made the Succubus and the Blade Demon immediately wary. If the Grey-winged Humanoid's family arrived here for rescue when they were sealed, they would be forcibly enslaved. They had to escape before that happened!

"Wait!" The Succubus and Blade Demon said simulataneosly.

The Succubus continued: "None of our interests conflict with each other at the moment, so let us all talk together and come to a deal peacefully. First, let us give the little guy his chance to tell us what he wants, and we will tell him what we want in return.

The Blade Demon added: "And then, we will find a way by which we can all trust each other. Something like a contract. One of you must have a resource that fits the need, even if your demonic tricks are sealed."

Ryan heaved in relief inwardly.

Soon, he was healed by a resource from the Grey-winged Humanoid's World Space.

Their discussion began right after.
