In the battle against the Butter Knife, when Jansen fell with a bullet to the head and the white brain matter started flowing out, Gao Yang really thought Jansen was a goner.

So, when he saw Jansen standing in front of him, not quite lively, but walking steadily, Gao Yang was really happy, very very happy.

"Ah, brother, it’s really great to see you healthy again."

Jansen and Gao Yang embraced silently for a long time, then he went around hugging everyone one by one. Finally, Jansen let go of Cui Bo, took a step back, looked at the room full of people, spread his hands with a teary expression, and loudly shouted, "Guys, I really missed you. How’s it going, without me, don’t you find many things inconvenient?"

Everyone laughed, and Li Jinfang loudly said, "Stop showing off, nobody misses you, except Tommy."

Tommy worked the most with Jansen, and the mortar tactics in Tommy’s hands were completely different with or without Jansen.

Jansen gulped hard, punched Li Jinfang, and loudly asked, "Where are the others?"

Frey laughed and said, "We knew you wouldn’t die, so they didn’t come to see you. Most went home, Panda and Fat Cat stayed in Ukraine. Things were tough for Angel there, so they stayed to help and will be back in a few days."

Jansen nodded, gulped, and then loudly said to Gao Yang, "Boss, look at me, I can really rejoin the team."

The most dangerous part of Jansen’s injury was the bullet to his back, not the hole in his head. After such a long rest in the hospital, he’s almost recovered.

Gao Yang held up an index finger and smiled, "One more month, one more month of recovery, and we’ll be back in action. I’ll ask the doctor, if you can be discharged, you can go home for a visit first."

Jansen thought for a moment, gulped, and loudly said, "Okay, I’ll visit home, but before that, I need to buy some stuff. I want to buy drones and a pair of backup lenses. You know, Boss, now there’s a new drone model with a significantly increased range, we definitely have to get it."

Gao Yang laughed, "Sure, sure, you can buy whatever you want."

Jansen touched his head and said emotionally, "I’m going crazy, I haven’t dared to sleep lately, constantly having nightmares, knowing you battled Cerberus and are now about to fight Iron Madonna, f**k, if I stay here, life feels meaningless."

After saying that, Jansen looked at Peter and said emotionally, "Peter, I really didn’t expect us to meet here, really didn’t."

A few guys sat and chatted in Jansen’s luxurious single hospital room, and after chatting for a while, Gao Yang stood up and smiled, "You guys continue chatting, Peter, come with me for a bit."

Li Jinfang immediately said, "I’ll go too, I’m tagging along."

Peter looked at Gao Yang, puzzled, "Where are we going?"

Li Jinfang pushed Peter and laughed, "You’ll know soon, let’s go."

Jansen scratched his head and said, "We’re just chatting here anyway, might as well all go."

Gao Yang thought it over and shook his head, "Nah, too many people will stand out, better not all go, we won’t be long, see you shortly."

Peter followed Gao Yang out the door, not asking where they’re going, just limping behind Gao Yang.

Jansen is staying at the Massachusetts General Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School; leaving the rehabilitation area, Gao Yang took Peter directly to the Bone and Joint Medical Center.

Upon realizing where they were, Peter seemed a bit off. He looked at Li Jinfang with eyes slightly excited; Li Jinfang said nothing, just gestured with a smile for Peter to hurry.

Harvard Medical School’s affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital is one of the best hospitals in America and also around the world. Although bone and joint isn’t its most advantageous specialty, it’s definitely top-tier.

Little Donnie was waiting at the Bone and Joint Medical Center. After meeting up with Gao Yang and the others, Little Donnie immediately said, "Everyone’s here, let’s hurry over."

Peter couldn’t hold it anymore, he whispered, "Is this, Is this for my leg?"

Gao Yang smiled, patted Peter’s back, and whispered, "Buddy, consider it a gift."

Peter nodded repeatedly, taking deep breaths.

Peter seemed very excited, which was understandable. Going from being healthy to disabled, now seeing a glimmer of hope, even if he couldn’t return to a fully healthy state, just being able to move more freely would be exciting enough.

However, contrary to Peter’s expectations, he wasn’t taken to a clinic or ward but straight to a conference room outside.

Little Donnie knocked on the office door a few times and then pushed it open. As Gao Yang and the others entered, eight people were already waiting around the oval office table.

In the conference room, Little Donnie pointed at Gao Yang and smiled, "Sorry to keep you all waiting, let me introduce, this is Mr. Gao I mentioned, Mr. Gao, this is Professor Magson, an orthopedic surgeon specialist."

Gao Yang shook hands with an elderly man in a doctor’s coat; orthopedic surgery involves more than just plastic surgery. Repairing and reconstructing muscle and bone injuries and diseases, using donor or animal tissues to fix various defects or deformities, improving and restoring physiological functions, is Professor Magson’s main reason for being invited.

"This is Professor Hadeberson, an expert in bones and joints, the chief doctor of Bone and Joint at Massachusetts General Hospital."

"This is Dr. Diamond, his company leads in 3D printing medical applications, and Dr. Diamond is the leader of a team specializing in high-end prosthesis manufacturing and utilization."

"This is Mr. Joen, who used to work at Lockheed Martin, developing exoskeleton systems for the military, now he’s founded his own company to develop bionic exoskeleton systems and independent units to help those with physical disabilities."

Little Donnie introduced each person, and Gao Yang shook hands, exchanging pleasantries with each. After greeting everyone, he pointed to Peter and smiled, "Gentlemen, this is Peter, the purpose of inviting you all here is to hopefully get your expert help in allowing him better mobility. Gentlemen, please suggest your best plans, thank you very much."

Professor Magson looked at Peter, then at Gao Yang, and immediately said, "Alright, let’s get started then, Mr. Peter, please have a seat, I’ll do a preliminary examination here for you."
