Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 280: Flashback - 20
Chapter 280: Flashback - 20
Next day, Silas was ready to leave from there, and all four brothers had come to drop him off at the carriage.
Silas was standing in front of the carriage while smiling at them.
"And yes, Lysander, I have something for you. I forgot to give it to you on your birthday. So here, happy birthday."
While saying this, Silas took out something from his pocket and handed it over to Lysander.
And when he saw what it was—a blue ocean brooch, which was shining and looking so beautiful—that brooch was matching Silas’s eyes very clearly.
Lysander gave that brooch back to Silas and stood in front of him. Silas didn’t understand what Lysander meant by this.
He glanced at Damon. But Damon also didn’t know, so he was about to ask Lysander when he himself said:
"Can you put this brooch on me yourself? Cuz that would be the best gift for me, don’t you think?"
Silas nodded and started to put on the brooch very carefully. And when it was done, he saw it was looking perfect on Lysander.
"Yes, this is perfect," Silas said while looking at the brooch.
He was feeling kinda proud that yes, he had great taste.
"Okay then, everyone, it was really nice to meet you all, but now I’ll have to bid goodbye." ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Silas was about to go into the carriage, but he stopped when he heard:
"Wait, Silas," Damon said.
He turned around. "Yes?"
Damon handed over the present to Silas. It wasn’t too big, but not too small either. Silas’s eyes looked up after taking the present.
Those four were looking at him cuz they wanted to see his expression—if he was happy or not after getting their present.
"Can I ask why are you giving me this present?"
Kael chuckled and came forward with a smiling face.
"On your birthday, we weren’t able to give you a present, so that’s why we prepared this small gift for you. I hope you’ll like it."
Silas’s cheeks puffed a little bit cuz he was blushing after seeing that gift.
But he didn’t open it at that exact moment and placed it inside the carriage. Then he turned to them again and took a step toward them too.
"I’m gonna miss you all, that’s for sure. So before I go, can I hug you all?"
Silas was only asking for permission cuz he wasn’t sure if they were comfortable hugging him or not.
But as soon as Silas said that, Theron came forward. Seeing him, Silas knew that Theron wanted to hug him.
That’s why he hugged Theron first—but just then, Theron wrapped his hands around Silas’s back and picked him up in the air, without breaking the hug.
"Ohh... Theron, what are you doing? Who hugs like this? I’ll fall down! Come on, put me down!"
But Theron didn’t listen to him. Still, he hugged him for a few minutes more, and after that, he finally put Silas down gently.
As he did, Silas noticed Theron’s red ears, which were telling he was blushing.
Theron stepped back and stood still. Lysander came forward and hugged Silas normally, like how normal hugs are.
But when he broke the hug and Kael came forward, his body was looking bigger—which made Silas take a step back.
But Kael grabbed Silas’s hand and pulled him to himself and hugged him too tightly, like it was the last chance of hugging Silas or something.
Silas felt suffocated and tried to break the hug, but Kael was hugging him so tightly that he wasn’t even getting pushed back.
"Kael, I asked for a hug. I didn’t give you permission to kill me, did I?"
"Oh, sorry." Kael finally broke the hug, realizing he was hurting Silas.
All three had given a hug to Silas. Now it was only Damon’s turn, but he wasn’t coming forward and was standing in his position without moving.
Kael turned back and stood beside Damon, signaling him to go and hug Silas.
But since Damon didn’t come forward, Silas realized that he didn’t want to hug him, and he didn’t want to force Damon either.
"Okay then, bye," Silas said, turning.
And as he turned, Damon took steps forward and hugged Silas from behind. As he did, Silas flinched cuz he didn’t expect that.
"Did you think I wouldn’t hug you, right?" Damon whispered.
"Yes, you didn’t come to hug me, so what else would I think?"
Damon was bending down while hugging Silas and leaving all his weight on him, which was making Silas lean forward.
"Enough now, Damon. I’m getting late."
And just then, out of nowhere, suddenly Damon pecked Silas’s cheek, which made Silas’s whole face turn red like a tomato.
"NOOOOO!" Damon’s brothers were overreacting since they didn’t get to peck Silas at all—and here Damon was doing this.
Silas waved his hand as a goodbye and sat inside the carriage, and the carriage started to move.
Damon had offered to send his guards with Silas, but he said no, saying he had his own guards, and reassured Damon that there was nothing to worry about.
Damon knew how strong Jeren’s guards were, so he believed they would keep Silas safe—that’s what Damon thought, and that’s why he didn’t send any guards with him.
Silas was looking at them through the window until he got further and further from them.
And when he couldn’t see them anymore, he glanced beside him at that present while pressing his back against the seat.
He wanted to open that present right now, but he stopped himself—and his greedy hands—from opening it cuz he wanted to open it in his room peacefully, without any disturbance.
Cuz who knows, if he tried to open that present now and ended up breaking it, then what would happen?
Silas glanced outside while touching the outer cloak since it was given by Theron.
When Silas had come out from the palace without wearing any cloak—since he was leaving—that’s when Theron gave his own outer cloak to Silas.
And Silas also didn’t say anything and accepted that kind gesture.
