Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 277: Flashback - 17
Chapter 277: Flashback - 17
On the other side of the lake, Silas was still hugging Kael.
His heart was beating so fast that he feared if Kael heard it, he’d definitely make fun of him.
"What happened? Why is your cheek getting red? Chipmunk."
Silas quickly pushed Kael on his chest, took off his outer cloak, and threw it to the side of the lake, then turned to Kael.
"You stupid, why did you push me in the first place? Don’t tell me you wanted me dead."
"How can you even think about that, Chipmunk? I just wanted to have some fun with you. I was teasing you. Why are you getting so serious? Okay, I know. I shouldn’t have done that. I’m sorry."
As Silas took off his cloak, it became easier for him to swim like a merman, and he started swimming faster than Kael—which shocked Kael, because the way Silas was drowning a few minutes ago, it looked like he didn’t know how to swim.
But that same Silas was now swimming like a fish in front of him.
"Silas, are you possessed or something? Because I can’t believe which one is the real you. Or am I having hallucinations?"
Kael was confused himself, but even after hearing him, Silas didn’t stop swimming, because the water was very warm in that cold. That’s why he was swimming around in the warm lake.
And while swimming, when Silas got tired, he stopped. Then he noticed that Kael wasn’t there.
He became scared—where did Kael go? He wasn’t on the ground. Silas looked around, but didn’t see him.
So he took a deep breath and went into the water to see if Kael was drowning. It was just a slight thought, but it could be the case. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
But when he looked underwater, he didn’t see Kael at all. So he came back up.
He got worried that something had happened to Kael. Then he went underwater again and found Kael was right behind him.
Silas came up again, and Kael followed him.
"Are you out of your mind, Kael? Is this the time for you to joke around? What were you doing underwater?"
Silas was angry because Kael had scared him by disappearing. That’s why Silas really thought something had happened.
"But you were also swimming, weren’t you? That’s why I also went to swim. What’s wrong with that?"
That’s when Silas realized that Kael wasn’t pulling a prank.
He was swimming on his own—but the way he was swimming was very, very wrong.
Who swims without coming up, just going deeper and deeper into the water?
"I think we should leave now. I want to take a rest."
As Silas said that and was about to come out of the lake, Kael got out before him and offered his hand to Silas.
Silas could see that Kael cared about him, but he just liked to tease Silas more.
"Are you still mad at me, Silas? If you are, I’m really sorry."
Silas didn’t even count how many times Kael had apologized today.
"Kael, if you apologize one more time, I’m really going to get mad at you. Because there is no ’sorry’ in our relationship."
"Okay, I get it."
As they both came out of the lake, their clothes were totally drenched, and as the cold air touched them, they began to feel cold.
When they were soaking in the lake, there was no feeling called cold, but now they could feel it.
Even when Silas wore his cloak—though it was wet—it didn’t warm him.
Only the cold surrounded them, making them shiver and their skin numb.
They walked for twenty minutes and reached the palace. As they were about to go in, Kael’s parents saw them.
They were standing at the bedroom window, and seeing Kael and Silas holding hands while coming inside the palace made them exchange a glance.
After going inside, Lysander noticed them.
He was talking with someone while standing, but seeing Silas and Kael, he rushed to them and took off his cloak, covering Silas with it.
"Kael, what the hell did you do that Silas is this drenched in water?" Lysander asked.
"We just went to swim in our lake."
Lysander extend his hand and grab Silas’s hand and took him to his room.
He personally went into the bathroom and prepared warm water in the bathtub for Silas, then came out.
"Silas, you can go take a bath now. I’ve prepared it for you."
Silas nodded and went directly into the bathroom.
While he was bathing, Lysander was still sitting in the room on the bed, after taking pajamas out of Silas’s wardrobe so he could wear them after.
While Silas came out wearing a bathrobe, he saw Lysander still there.
"Huh? Lysander, you’re still here? I thought you’d have left."
"Nope. I was worried about you. Who knows if you’ve caught a cold or not. And here, your pajamas. You can wear them."
Silas took the pajamas and glanced at Lysander, who was still looking at him like nothing had happened.
"Do I need to change clothes in front of you?"
Then Lysander realized, "Oh yes! I’ll wait outside."
He went out of the room until Silas changed his clothes.
And when he was done, he opened the door and glanced out—Lysander was still there. He came back inside after seeing Silas look out.
"Are you done?"
"Yes."
"So now come and lie down on the bed."
Lysander made Silas lie down on the bed, tucked him under the quilt, and sat down beside him.
Silas couldn’t understand why Lysander was still there, but he didn’t say anything.
And Lysander started to pat Silas’s head so he could sleep peacefully.
Silas was also feeling better because of that.
He closed his eyes without any doubt—but just then, they heard the sound of the door opening. And both of them glanced at the door.
It was kael who had come inside
"Lysander what are you doing here?" He asked seeing him sitting on the bed , pating Silas’s head.
