Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 226: High priest
Chapter 226: High priest
"Of course I only love you."
Saying that, Silas picked up Velric and spun him around in the air. Velric started to giggle because he was happy that Silas was with him.
"Mumma, please don’t ever leave me."
"I won’t, I promise, and—"
Now the talk of the Moon Goddess flashed into Silas’s mind—that Velric is his child. But how? So for that, he would have to go to the hospital to check.
Velric grabbed Silas’s cheeks in his small palms because Silas suddenly went silent in the middle of saying something.
"What happened, Mumma?"
"Huh? Nothing happened. But did you eat anything? Do you want to eat something?"
Velric started to think after hearing that. He was thinking so hard, like it was something very important. Seeing that, Silas chuckles.
"You’re thinking a lot, Velric. Why don’t I help you and make something delicious?"
"Yes! I love everything Mumma makes!"
Velric quickly hugged Silas, wrapping both his arms around Silas’s neck.
Silas was also patting his back. There were smiles on both of their faces, like—yes, this was enough for them.
After five minutes, Silas gave Velric a quick bath, and he himself also took one.
After that, Velric was sitting on the sofa watching TV, and Silas was standing in front of the microwave like a great chef—but he only knew how to heat up food and cook instant noodles.
Still, his attitude was more than his skill.
"I wanted to eat pizza, so it’s fine. And I’m sure Velric is also gonna like it. But Theron didn’t call me, nor did he send a message."
"No, I was the one who told him not to follow me. What if I hurt him by mistake?"
Silas tended to overthink, especially since he hadn’t heard anything from Theron in the last few hours.
But he also knew there was a big mess in Theron’s house because when he left, they were all arguing.
And Theron’s mom is like Kael—they both think Silas did something, that’s why Damon and Theron changed.
But that’s their misunderstanding, because Silas isn’t that free to go around breaking people’s homes.
But when we blindly believe lies, we don’t see the light of the truth.
That’s what was happening with Kael and his mother. But Kael’s mother’s temper was a little weird.
She wasn’t a normal person. Like, one moment she would say something, and the next moment, something totally different.
And even when Joha took her to the hospital, it was found that she had some psychological problems, and because of that, she was even taking medicine.
But Joha didn’t tell any of his sons about his wife’s condition.
That’s why even today, she sent Velric away—because she thought he should find his parents.
Totally illogical thoughts. But what can we do?
Still, Joha should have told the children about his wife’s condition at least.
But he didn’t, because he was worried the kids would worry about their mom.
Silas didn’t think about anyone else. He just focused on heating up the pizza, and in 10 minutes, the pizza was ready.
In the meantime, he messaged Orian that he had come back and that many things had happened but didn’t tell him about those many things.
That’s why Orian insisted Meyer drop him off at Silas’s apartment right now. So he was on his way.
Velric was watching a movie, and the movie’s name was ’Me, You, and Our Unknown Child.’
It was a science fiction movie. It showed an alien kid who got thrown onto Earth by mistake, and a couple who didn’t have children raised him for 10 years.
But after 10 years, when he had grown a little, suddenly aliens from his planet came back to take him. But he didn’t want to go back.
And that human couple didn’t want to let him go either, but those aliens used their force and killed the human couple.
Seeing his parents dead, that little alien killed those aliens—because he was very powerful.
And in the end of the movie, he was crying while sitting beside his parents’ dead bodies.
Seeing that, Velric remembered something, and he suddenly bawled out.
When the crying sound reached Silas’s ears, he peeked outside the kitchen and saw Velric was crying.
At that same moment, the door was knocked. And when it was, he knew it was Orian—because he had messaged that he was coming.
But Velric was also crying his heart out, and Silas didn’t know why.
That’s why he picked up Velric, and while glancing at the movie—in the movie, the alien kid was crying, and just like him, Velric was crying too.
Seeing that, Silas understood everything: Velric was crying while watching the sad ending.
"It’s just a movie. Don’t feel sad."
Saying that, Silas stepped toward the door and opened it.
As he did, he found Orian standing there with Meyer.
They also saw Silas and heard Velric’s crying. Seeing that, Orian quickly rushed inside.
"What happened to my Velric? Why is he crying like this?"
Velric recognized the voice, so he quickly turned his head and saw Orian standing there.
"Pretty uncle!"
"Aww, my pretty nephew," Orian said, taking Velric from Silas’s arms and stepping inside.
As he came in, the smell of pizza entered his nose, and he quickly understood that Silas had made pizza.
So he went into the kitchen with Velric in his arms.
Silas was also about to go inside after Orian, but Meyer stopped him.
"Silas, I have something important to talk about."
"Yes, I’m all ears."
"Do you remember the last incident, where someone trapped you and made it look like you offered someone money to kill Orian?"
Meyer told Silas many things he had found out. That the one who created the entire conspiracy is from the temple and is called the High Priest the one who organised all this.
Silas’s eyes widened as he heard that, but the more shocking thing for him was that someone had planned all of this from the temple—and that person was called the High Priest.
