Not to mention that there was a beautiful girl on Earth eagerly waiting to develop her bond with Leon. Meanwhile, Asgard was placed on high alert. frёeωebɳovel.com
All legions had been summoned, every defense mechanism was activated, and the gods stood fully armed. Under Thor's leadership, they gathered in the grand square before the palace of Asgard.
The vast square was lined with rows of Asgardian soldiers. Clad in armor and armed with weapons, they stood in orderly formations. Their strong presence filled the air with solemnity.
On a wide platform towering dozens of meters above the square, Thor, Sif, the Warriors Three, and Wanda—dressed in armor—stood in a row, looking down at the army below.
Thor nodded to the gods, Natasha, and Wanda before stepping forward. In a powerful and resonant voice, he addressed the warriors:
"Warriors of Asgard, since ancient times, under the leadership of Odin, the All-Father, we have fought valiantly across countless realms, carving our legacy in glory.
"We have never feared the enemy, no matter their numbers or strength. We wield our weapons and strike down our foes, declaring our might to the universe."
"We are the keepers of order and the protectors of peace. But now, ancient demons have returned to threaten Asgard once more. The Flame Demon, Surtur, will lead his army in a bid for revenge against us."
"Today, some of us may fall on the battlefield, but war is glory, and we shall never yield!"
A thunderous roar erupted from the warriors. Thor's rousing words ignited their spirits, and their passionate cries echoed through the heavens. Fear had no place here—only fervor. To the warriors of Asgard, death was but a pathway to greatness and the halls of Valhalla.
"We will not allow the battlefield to reach Asgard, nor will we let our people be consumed by the flames of war. Instead, we shall march into Muspelheim and confront Surtur and his demon army head-on. May the light of divine glory shine upon us all!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Thor raised Mjolnir high, and the soldiers below struck their weapons against the ground in unison, silently conveying their unwavering resolve.
Thor, satisfied with their response, turned to Wanda and said, "Wanda, I need his help."
"I'm happy to oblige," Wanda replied confidently. Scarlet energy flared around her as she slowly levitated, surrounded by crimson clouds. Her hair flowed in the wind as she closed her eyes and reached out with her mind.
"Leon, my love, I need your help."
At Wanda's call, millions of Asgardian troops bore witness to a sudden surge of immense energy enveloping her.
The next moment, Wanda sensed the power of Muspelheim flooding into her consciousness. Her eyes snapped open, glowing with a brilliant red light.
She raised her arms, and with a hum, a massive portal appeared before the Asgardian army. Through its fiery glow, the other side revealed the scorching, infernal realm of Muspelheim.
The portal stabilized, and Thor wasted no time. Holding Mjolnir high, his battle cry echoed like thunder.
"To war!!!"
Lightning crackled as Thor, wreathed in thunder, transformed into a streak of light, charging through the portal first. Behind him followed Sif, the Warriors Three, and other gods.
Natasha, Sergei, and Pietro exchanged determined glances.
Bang! Bang!
With an explosion of airwaves, they launched themselves forward, racing after Thor.
The Asgardian army surged through the portal—warriors, airships, Pegasus-mounted troops—all pouring into the fiery realm.
As they crossed into Muspelheim, an oppressive heat hit them like a tidal wave.
The infernal landscape stretched before them, dominated by rivers of molten lava. Cracks in the ground glowed red, while distant mountains spewed fiery torrents, creating a realm that resembled a vast, blazing furnace.
In the distance stood a towering Flame Demon over 300 meters tall, wielding an enormous Twilight Sword. Surrounding him was an endless legion of fire demons, their fiery forms burning with malevolence.
Thor, the gods, Natasha, and Sergei hovered in mid-air, facing off against Surtur himself.
The Flame Demon stood at the center of his army, his colossal sword planted in the ground. His eyes locked onto Thor, Wanda, and the others.
"Thor Odinson," Surtur's voice boomed like a gong, resonating in everyone's chest. He pulled the Twilight Sword from the ground, unleashing a wave of blistering heat and sparks that rippled through the air. The Asgardian warriors stood firm, their cloaks and armor fluttering against the scorching wind.
"Has that old fool Odin grown so cowardly that he sends his son to face me instead?" Surtur mocked, his disdain evident.
His gaze shifted to Wanda, Natasha, Sergei, and the others. "And who are these? Mortals from Midgard?"
Surtur's memories of Earth were ancient, a place he once visited when it was home to primitive, feeble beings who lived like ants.
Yet now, as his sharp eyes examined them, he saw their immense power. These Midgardians were no longer the weaklings he once knew. Some even surpassed Thor himself.
When his gaze lingered on Wanda, recognition sparked in his eyes.
"Chaos magic?"
Surtur's expression shifted, his fiery eyes narrowing in shock.
But before he could act further, Thor interrupted with a thunderous roar.
"No one insults the All-Father! Surtur, you will face justice!"
"To war!!!"
Boom!
With that, Thor raised Mjolnir, summoning a raging storm. Dark clouds gathered above Muspelheim, and violent thunderbolts illuminated the sky.
With thunder coursing through his body, Thor led the charge, the gods following closely behind.
This battle—a clash destined to be remembered in history—had officially begun.
