Chapter 192 - 192: Unforeseen Danger!

"Finn, do you think we really have to face those enemies?"

Wanda's words immediately made Finn fall silent. He didn't quite understand what she meant.

"It's true that we have to face them," he said after a moment, his voice calm but firm. "And the enemy we'll be up against in a few months isn't weak. That's why the more people we have on our side, the better."

Finn looked off into the distance, his eyes growing deep and contemplative. That was the real reason he had agreed to their request.

On one hand, he could better monitor the movement of the demon faction and prevent them from causing catastrophic damage to the primary universe. On the other, they would need the help of the Angel faction soon.

"But..." freёwebnoѵel.com

Wanda hesitated. She looked like she wanted to say something but ultimately held back.

Finn noticed her reluctance and responded gently, "What's wrong? If there's something on your mind, say it. It's alright."

Wanda raised her head and looked at Finn's profile. "Finn, I just think you're... strange."

"Strange? How so?" Finn looked at her, surprised.

She pursed her lips, clearly struggling with her thoughts, before finally sighing. "Forget it. Maybe I'm just being too sensitive."

Finn scratched the bridge of his nose and chuckled, clearly amused. "Alright, witch. It's time for us to get some rest."

"Uh-huh," she replied quickly, following Finn back to their quarters.

The next morning, the first pale light of dawn spread across the horizon. The sun bathed the land in golden light, and the entire scene looked vibrant and full of life.

"Another beautiful day," Finn murmured as he stood by the window, watching the sun rise, anticipation on his face.

Everyone else began to wake up around the same time. Finn knew it was time to make things public.

He had to meet with the elder patriarch and explain the situation.

Soon, they gathered in the central hall.

A large crowd had already assembled, and all eyes turned to Finn and his group as they entered. Their gazes were filled with awe and expectation.

To them, Finn was a savior of the Angel faction—a figure of immense respect. No one dared treat him lightly; reverence filled the air.

"Everyone," the old patriarch began, "I invited Finn and his companions here today so we can discuss how to eliminate the demon faction. Please welcome them!"

The hall erupted in applause. Excitement and hope sparkled in every eye.

The patriarch had announced this meeting last night, and the entire faction was prepared for it.

"Thank you for your support," Finn said, matching their applause before stepping forward. "I hope all of you will follow the patriarch's orders and fully support his decisions. Together, we'll defeat the demon faction!"

"Yes!!" came the unified cry.

Though the demon faction was known to be overwhelmingly powerful—perhaps even capable of obliterating the Angel faction—unity gave them hope. If they stood together, they had a chance.

After finishing his brief address, Finn stepped aside, allowing the elder patriarch to take the floor.

The old man wasted no time. "Everyone, I believe you understand the gravity of the situation. If we fail to eradicate the demon faction completely, they'll return, stronger than ever, and the damage will be far greater. That's why I've agreed with Finn—when the time comes, they will aid us. Together, we'll bring an end to the demon threat!"

"Good!!"

The crowd roared again, galvanized by the idea that they might finally overcome their long-standing adversaries.

"Now," the patriarch continued, "I'll begin outlining a preliminary deployment plan. Our enemy has sent a massive army—over 200,000 elite units. And leading them is none other than Ultra Mephisto. I'm sure many of you have heard the name."

Gasps rippled through the hall. The name was the stuff of legend.

"Yes, Ultra Mephisto is real. But you need not fear. Though our opponent is strong, we are not weak. We have allies—Finn and his team—and our combined strength is formidable."

A wave of renewed confidence spread through the crowd. The old patriarch's words were empowering.

But beneath the optimism, few knew the true scale of the threat. The 200,000-strong demon force consisted of the deadliest, most experienced warriors in their realm. A misstep could lead to ruin.

Still, hope was a powerful thing.

And anticipation began to build for the coming battle.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Finn lay in bed, silent and still. Memories drifted through his mind—battles fought, alliances forged, wounds suffered. Then, a flicker of joy appeared in his eyes.

"Finally... recovered."

He stretched out his right hand, fingers slowly opening and closing. A subtle vibration shimmered in the air around him.

His body flickered—disappeared in a blink.

He reappeared outside, turning his head back.

"So this is the power of the Angel Tower's ascension?"

His voice trembled with awe. He had unlocked a new level of power, and it felt incredible.

The old patriarch had kept his promise, granting Finn access to the Angel Tower—an ancient relic said to empower those deemed worthy.

Now, Finn was stronger than ever.

But he wasn't content.

"Even with this, it's not enough to face him."

Finn's expression darkened.

That mysterious figure—whose true identity was still unknown, even to the Darkhold witch—was their greatest threat. And if they weren't prepared, they'd be annihilated before even realizing what hit them.

Instant death. No second chances.

That reality haunted Finn.

"Let's test this out."

Not wanting to wake Wanda, he slipped outside to a clearing surrounded by trees and jagged rocks.

He formed a soundproof barrier with a stream of black energy, ensuring his experiment wouldn't disturb her.

Once the seal was in place, he curled his fingers into a fist, gathering an immense concentration of energy.

The ground trembled. The surrounding space vibrated.

Power surged through his hand, dark and crackling.

Finn stood at the center of it all—calm, focused, prepared.

This was just the beginning.

The war hadn't started yet.

But soon, it would.

And when it did, Finn would be ready.
