Marvel : I'm in Westview Town-Chapter 110 : Oppression from Wanda
Chapter 110 - 110 : Oppression from Wanda
In the empty and cold church, the icy voice of Dark Wanda resounded.
"Who is it!"
Larry shuddered inexplicably at the sound. A strange, overwhelming aura permeated the space, stronger than the dark energy they had wielded.
"Is this truly beyond repair?" Larry thought in horror.
The next moment—
WHOOSH!
A surge of power, more terrifying than before, exploded like a monstrous wave in a storm, swallowing everything in its wake.
The oppressive force battered them relentlessly.
At that moment, the three of them became painfully aware of their insignificance. They felt minuscule beneath this crushing energy, as if they could be erased from existence at any moment.
Even when standing before Nightmare, they had never felt such fear.
Nightmare was endless oppression, but what this entity evoked in them was something far worse—an instinctual, primal terror clawing at the very core of their souls.
The sheer weight of it made Larry feel like nothing more than a speck of dust in a violent storm.
His body trembled, his pupils shrank, and a creeping sensation of drowning overtook him. It was as if death itself loomed above, watching, waiting.
Then—
Several figures erupted with even greater force, their presence suffocating. The three could feel it—
A direct attack on their very fear. A force that gripped their souls and shook them violently.
The church, once bathed in faint luminescence, now sank into darkness. The atmosphere thickened, the air growing heavier with every breath.
And then silence.
Their minds screamed at them to flee.
"Don't just stand there! Complete the last step! The formation will activate soon, and it'll take them some time to break through!" Larry barked.
The others, frozen in terror, hesitated before snapping back to reality. Gritting their teeth, they hurried to follow his orders. If the enemy broke in now, they wouldn't stand a chance.
Their only hope was the formation—if they could finish it in time.
PUCHI!
A massive surge of dark energy flooded the church, rushing in like an unstoppable tide, devouring everything in its path.
"Damn it! Are we too late?!"
Larry's heart plummeted. But he refused to surrender.
"Just one more step!" he roared, desperation clawing at his throat.
Dark energy churned violently, released without restraint. The other three, fighting against the fear seizing them, poured everything they had into the formation.
But then—
!!!
A new force surged from every direction, an omnipresent pressure that dwarfed everything before it.
BOOM!
The very air trembled.
"Larry! What do we do?!" Reiss shouted, his voice cracking under the weight of his terror.
Larry's mind raced.
The force sweeping toward them was unimaginable—like the collapse of an entire universe. It crushed down on them, its presence alone fracturing their resolve.
Their faces twisted in horror. Eyes darted wildly, searching for an escape that did not exist.
Even the world outside the church seemed to feel it. A heavy, suffocating stillness blanketed the air, as if the universe itself had gone silent in anticipation of something horrific.
And then, from the depths of the shadows, a voice—cold, detached, and absolute.
"You should give up. This barrier will fall."
The words slithered into their ears, sinking into their bones like venom.
A single sentence—
And it felt as though the abyss itself had spoken.
Dark energy erupted once more. A vortex of pure malevolence coalesced into existence, expanding with violent force. The space around them twisted, folding in upon itself, as if reality itself was warping beneath the pressure.
Cracks formed in the air—fractures of pure darkness tearing at the very fabric of existence.
BANG!
The vortex exploded outward, shockwaves rippling through the void. Waves of destructive force slammed into the church walls, shaking its very foundation.
The ground quaked, stone and dust falling from the ceiling like dead weight. The sound was deafening, an inescapable cacophony of destruction.
If anyone had been in the nearby town, they would have witnessed the sky twist and churn, the very climate shifting under the weight of what was happening here.
"Damn it!" Larry cursed, feeling the sheer force crashing into their barrier.
The formation they had built—
The moment the dark energy touched it, a catastrophic impact erupted, sending Larry skidding backward.
"Who are you?!" he demanded, his voice hoarse.
The darkness was too thick. Even though he could sense the figure now standing before them, its true form remained hidden from view.
The others peered into the void, hearts pounding.
Could it be... had they truly come out of the illusion?
It was terrifyingly possible.
"Haven't you been looking for us?" the figure chuckled.
A woman stepped forward from the abyss.
Her face, now illuminated by the faint light of the dying formation, sent shivers down their spines.
Dark Wanda smiled.
"Why do you act so surprised now?"
The apostles had gathered here, their chosen sanctuary—hidden, secluded. It should have been impenetrable.
And yet...
"Impossible," Larry muttered. "How did you—"
"Finn helped," she said simply, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
If it wasn't for Finn's help, maybe they would never have found the hiding place of these apostles.

"It really is you, Scarlet Witch!"
Larry's voice was thick with rage and barely concealed fear. He clenched his teeth as he glared at Wanda. The earlier battle had made it clear—she was far beyond their level.
There was no way to win head-on. The only option was to stall for time.
The formation was complete, and as long as they held their ground, the apostle sent by Nightmare would arrive. Then, their chances of victory would skyrocket.
"You remember me well," Wanda's voice rang out, laced with icy contempt. "Like rats scurrying through filth. Disgusting."
These people were merciless, willing to slaughter innocent townspeople just to complete their mission. It made her hate them with every fiber of her being.
"So what?" Larry sneered, suppressing his unease. "As long as Lord Nightmare's plan succeeds, what does it matter if a few more children die?"
He knew he was provoking her, but he had no choice. The priority was buying time.
With the formation in place, Wanda couldn't break through easily.
He was sure of it.
"You're all fools," Finn said, his voice cutting through the darkness like a blade. "You throw your lives away for Nightmare, thinking he'll save you. Do you really believe that?"
The words sent ripples through the apostles.
They had done everything for Nightmare's favor. But now, with their lives on the line, was it really worth it?
"Don't listen to them!" Larry barked, sensing the doubt creeping in. "Have you forgotten? Nightmare is powerful beyond comprehension. We just have to hold out! He will come for us, and these fools will be nothing!"
The others hesitated but nodded. Their faith, though shaken, remained.
Bang!
In the dim church, a powerful wave of black energy surged, swirling together like a storm.
"Then go to hell."
Wanda's voice was glacial.
If they refused to see reason, she would end them.
"Hold the line! They can't break the formation!" Larry shouted as panic flickered in his eyes.
The apostles raised their hands, channeling dark magic. The symbols of the formation pulsed with an eerie glow, spreading a dazzling light through the church.
Bang!
A scarlet surge of chaos magic erupted, a force so massive it dwarfed mountains and sent violent winds howling in all directions.
Around the ruined church, a raging sandstorm swallowed everything in sight.
The crushing force of Wanda's magic bore down like the weight of the heavens, an unstoppable meteor plummeting to the earth.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Even before impact, the sheer pressure distorted space, darkening the area in a suffocating void. The ground trembled, cracking and caving beneath the weight of the raw energy.
A massive trench, thousands of meters wide, carved itself into the earth from the force alone.
The world seemed to groan under the strain.
Boom!
Chaos magic slammed into the formation, igniting the church in blinding light. Black fissures spiderwebbed across the space, breaking reality itself. The sanctuary, once a separate dimension, shattered like fragile glass.
"Impossible!" Larry gasped.
Though the formation held, the destruction around them was horrifying.
Was this Wanda Maximoff's true power?
With a single strike, she had nearly erased everything.
He didn't dare imagine their fate without the formation's protection.
Would they be annihilated? Erased from existence?
Cold fear clawed at his chest.
"Let me give you a hand."
Finn's voice drifted through the darkness, sending a chill through the apostles.
From the shadows, an overwhelming wave of black energy unfurled. It was unlike anything they had felt before—so potent that even the sky seemed to quiver.
The church groaned as if reality itself resisted his power.
Whoosh!
The darkness surged outward, a tidal wave of energy smothering everything. The stars overhead flickered as though bowing under its weight.
Even galaxies, far beyond reach, seemed to tremble.
Space warped, splintering at the edges.
Boom!
Finn's black energy collided with the formation, sending waves rippling through the structure.
Space twisted in agony. Stars flickered wildly, distorting under the immense force. Even the cosmos itself felt the tremors.
The apostles staggered as the ground beneath them cracked and disintegrated.
"Help us? Are you joking?" Larry rasped, trying to mask his terror with bravado.
The formation had held—barely—but his relief was short-lived.
"Stay strong! We just have to hold on! The formation will last!"
The apostles nodded, clutching onto that hope.
"They're not as powerful as they seem!" one sneered. "They can't even crack the barrier!"
"Lord Nightmare will handle them once he arrives!" another added, confidence returning.
They almost believed it.
Almost.
The formation pulsed weakly, flickering like a dying flame. The intricate symbols began to crack, lines of energy bleeding out into nothingness.
The apostles' false confidence shattered in an instant.
"Wait... why is the formation failing?!"
"It held against chaos magic—why can't it resist this darkness?!"
Panic spread through them as realization dawned.
The formation wasn't built to withstand this kind of power.
"I told you," Finn said, his voice edged with disdain. "Your little tricks mean nothing to me."
Crack. Crack. Crack.
Like ice breaking under immense weight, the formation fractured, its once-brilliant glow fading into oblivion.
Magic bled away like sand slipping through fingers.
And then—
Shatter!
The entire structure collapsed with a deafening crash, the magic within it consumed by Finn's abyssal force.
The apostles stared in horror.
They were exposed.
Defenseless.
Doomed.
The church fell silent, save for the eerie hum of power lingering in the air.
