Marvel : I'm in Westview Town-Chapter 106 : Milk in Bathroom
Chapter 106 - 106 : Milk in Bathroom
"Don't come here. I'd better go to breakfast early."
Finn watched as Dark Wanda approached with slow, deliberate steps. He hurriedly stepped forward to stop her, blocking her path.
As he moved past her, Dark Wanda raised a hand, halting him effortlessly. "Your Wanda hasn't woken up yet. If you start cooking this early, the food will get cold quickly, and the taste won't be as good."
"I'm hungry. It's for me."
Finn's expression remained calm as a dark aura briefly flickered around him. Without another word, he opened the door and stepped outside.
"Hmm?"
Wanda emerged from the bedroom, rubbing the corners of her eyes sleepily. "Finn? Why did you come out of the study?"
"Got bored. I was looking for a book to read."
Finn couldn't help but smile at the sight of Wanda, still half-asleep, her hair slightly messy from rest. "If you're still drowsy, go back to sleep for a while. I'll make you breakfast."
"You're so sweet, Finn."
Wanda's drowsiness vanished in an instant. She beamed at him, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace.
"You must be starving. I'll get you breakfast."
Finn chuckled softly and lifted her into his arms.
"Finn! Put me down! What if someone sees?"
Despite her words, Wanda made no effort to resist. Instead, she clung to him like a lazy kitten, her warmth pressing against him.
Finn hesitated for a moment, suddenly remembering the presence in the study. If Dark Wanda saw this, it could turn into a real problem.
To avoid any complications, he quickly carried Wanda over to the sofa.
"Finn, am I shameless?"
A sultry voice broke through the moment's peace.
Finn turned his head, his expression tightening.
Dark Wanda stood in the doorway of the study, her crimson eyes glinting with amusement.
"You?"
Wanda immediately pulled away from Finn's arms, her brow furrowing. "Weren't you in the next room?"
She glanced between Finn and Dark Wanda, piecing together what had just happened. Finn had come out of the study... and now Dark Wanda was stepping out of the same place.
Could it be...
"Wanda, don't misunderstand," Finn said quickly, sensing the tension rising. "She was just asking when breakfast would be ready."
If he didn't clear things up fast, this situation could spiral out of control.
"I'm here to protect Finn."
Dark Wanda's voice was smooth, unwavering, as if daring Wanda to challenge her words.
"I don't believe a word of that. Tell me the truth."
Wanda's gaze sharpened, her fingers twitching slightly as if ready to conjure a hex.
"Believe what you want."
Dark Wanda simply stepped past her without another word.
"Wanda, I'm making breakfast. Go wash up first."
Finn quickly interjected before things could escalate further.
"...Fine."
Wanda nodded, throwing one last glare in Dark Wanda's direction before leaving.
It didn't take long before the scent of freshly cooked food filled the kitchen.
Finn placed the last dish on the table, stepping back with a satisfied sigh. He had pulled together a breakfast using what was available in the fridge, balancing flavor and nourishment.
"This is Finn's cooking... It smells amazing!"
Wanda, who had been lounging on the sofa, immediately perked up and rushed toward the table, excitement lighting up her face.
The familiar aroma made her stomach growl in anticipation. Finally, she could enjoy Finn's cooking again.
"Look at you," Dark Wanda scoffed, crossing her arms. "You call yourself the lady of the house, and yet you're more eager for breakfast than I am. Hungry much?"
"It's none of your business."
Wanda shot her a glare before focusing back on the food.
"Oh, but it is," Dark Wanda said, smirking. "Finn cooked it, after all."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Wanda's irritation flared instantly. "This is the breakfast Finn made for me! You have nothing to do with it!"
"So what?" Dark Wanda countered coolly. "The ingredients he used—aren't they from my pantry?"
"You—! Get away from the table, you shameless woman!"
Wanda didn't bother arguing any further. She simply reached forward, trying to push Dark Wanda away.
And just like that, the two witches started fighting.
Despite their bickering, they were careful not to disturb the food. Both seemed to have an unspoken agreement—no matter how intense their argument, the breakfast Finn worked so hard on would not be ruined.
"Enough already."
Finn finally stepped out of the kitchen, carrying two bowls of hot preserved egg and lean pork porridge. The aroma of the dish spread through the room.
"Sit down and eat. I made enough for both of you."
At the sight of the meal, both Wanda and Dark Wanda huffed but dropped their argument. They sat down at the table, taking careful breaths as they tasted the first spoonfuls.
Finally, peace.
Finn sighed in relief, watching as their focus shifted from each other to their meal. If food could keep them quiet, maybe he should cook more often.
Taking a bowl for himself, he sat down and took a bite.
Not bad.
Time passed in silence as the three of them ate.
Eventually, Wanda set her spoon down, leaning back in her chair with a contented sigh. She patted her full stomach, a satisfied smile on her face.
Dark Wanda looked equally content, though she let out a quiet burp, covering her mouth with the back of her hand.
"Are you both full?" Finn asked out of habit.
"I'm stuffed."
Wanda nodded happily.
"...Is there any food left?"
Dark Wanda suddenly smirked.
Finn frowned slightly. "I only made porridge this time. No dumplings or anything heavy. It's better for digestion."
Dark Wanda's smirk widened. "Oh, I wasn't asking about the porridge."
Wanda raised a brow. "Then what are you talking about?"
Dark Wanda leaned in closer, her voice lowering. "I meant milk."
"...Milk?"
Wanda's brows knitted together, confusion in her eyes. "Why would we need milk? We just ate."
Dark Wanda's gaze gleamed mischievously as she whispered near Wanda's ear.

"Did you forget? You drank quite a lot in the bathroom that time."
"...What?"
Wanda blinked in complete confusion, not registering the implication right away.
Finn's face tensed as he immediately understood.
"Don't listen to her nonsense."
He patted Wanda's shoulder gently before turning to Dark Wanda with an exasperated look. "That's enough out of you. She doesn't need to hear this."
Then, without giving her a chance to say anything else, he swiftly gathered the empty dishes and carried them into the kitchen.
It was best to make his escape now.
Eating with two witches was exhausting.
Realization finally dawned on Wanda.
Her cheeks turned a deep shade of red as she whipped her head toward Dark Wanda.
"You... What the hell were you just talking about!?"
Dark Wanda merely laughed, resting her chin on her hand, amusement dancing in her scarlet gaze.
Finn sighed from the kitchen, pretending not to hear anything.
I will never forgive you!"
Wanda gritted her teeth and lunged at Dark Wanda, like a furious tigress ready to pounce.
Their fight erupted into chaotic shouting and flailing throughout the room.
In the kitchen, Finn listened to the commotion while washing the dishes and sighed, shaking his head. "Next time, I need to find a way to keep those two apart, or my apartment is going to be reduced to rubble."
After finishing up, he stepped out and saw that the two witches were still at it, their hair tangled and messy, both glaring daggers at each other.
"This is exhausting," Finn muttered.
After several attempts at coaxing them to calm down, they finally relented, though their frustration was still evident.
Once breakfast was over, all three settled into the living room, doing little else. Finn, feeling the tension still lingering in the air, turned on the TV for some background noise.
Wanda lay sprawled on the sofa, her head resting on Finn's lap as she read from the Darkhold. Meanwhile, Dark Wanda sat in an armchair to the left, her gaze fixed on Wanda.
"At this rate, your progress in mastering the Darkhold is too slow," Dark Wanda remarked casually, as if she wasn't itching for another argument.
Wanda blinked, her drowsiness replaced with interest. "Then how do I learn faster?"
She didn't like her counterpart, but she had to admit—Dark Wanda's expertise with the Darkhold was undeniable.
"The book you're holding is an incomplete version," Dark Wanda explained. "True mastery requires understanding its core principles, like the Chapter you're reading now—'On the Manipulation of Shadows.'"
Wanda straightened up. "Then teach me."
She was eager—no, determined. If she could grow stronger, she could protect Finn from any danger that came their way.
Dark Wanda leaned closer, speaking with an uncharacteristically serious tone. "When casting spells, blend your Chaos Magic with the power of the Darkhold. The two forces may seem incompatible, but when balanced correctly, they amplify each other."
Wanda frowned. "But doesn't Chaos Magic naturally reject Darkhold energy?"
"Not exactly," Dark Wanda countered. "Both are deeply rooted in forbidden knowledge and raw potential. At first, there might be some friction, but the more you merge them, the more attuned they become. With practice, the instability will disappear. Do you understand?"
A slow nod. "Yeah... I think I get it. I'll try it when I have the chance, but I still have a long way to go before I can control both."
Even though it was just a theoretical discussion, she already felt like she had gained valuable insight.
For the first time, she looked at Dark Wanda with a hint of appreciation.
"Thanks," Wanda said, begrudgingly.
Dark Wanda smirked. "It's nothing. You're just learning what you were always meant to know—just a little sooner."
She paused, then added, "I'll demonstrate later. Watching me will help you grasp the concept more easily."
Wanda nodded eagerly. "I'll pay close attention!"
Finn, sitting between them, exhaled in relief. "It's nice seeing you two getting along for once."
For a fleeting moment, peace seemed possible.
Finn shifted on the couch, giving them space as Dark Wanda stood. "Watch carefully."
Dark energy crackled around her hands—deep crimson infused with streaks of inky black. The two forces swirled and fused seamlessly as she flicked her wrist. A shadow detached from the floor, forming a humanoid silhouette in front of her.
"This is shadow summoning," Dark Wanda explained. "A simple flick of my fingers..."
With a wave, she vanished—and reappeared where the shadow had stood.
"A teleportation technique using shadows as anchors," she continued. "Once you master it, you can slip behind an enemy in an instant."
Wanda's eyes widened. "That was incredible! You moved too fast for me to even see!"
Envy burned in her chest. She needed to learn this.
Dark Wanda smirked. "Once you practice enough, you'll be able to do it in combat effortlessly."
Wanda clenched her fists, determination shining in her gaze. "Then tell me—what's the fastest way to master the Darkhold's magic?"
Dark Wanda's expression shifted—calculating, almost mischievous. "The best way? Go into seclusion. Find a remote place, free from distractions. Train in isolation for months, and your magic will evolve at a rapid pace."
Finn tilted his head. "That actually makes sense."
Wanda tapped her chin. "I suppose that could work..."
Then her eyes narrowed.
Wait a minute.
"You want me to go into isolation so you can have Finn all to yourself, don't you?!"
Everything clicked into place.
Dark Wanda had been suspiciously helpful. Too helpful.
Wanda shot to her feet. "That's why you were so eager to teach me! You're scheming to get rid of me!"
Dark Wanda held up her hands. "Now, now, let's not jump to conclusions."
"Liar! I can't believe I almost fell for that!"
In an instant, Wanda tackled her onto the couch, straddling her waist, her hands gripping Dark Wanda's wrists.
"You really are crazy," Dark Wanda sighed, amusement flickering in her gaze even as she struggled against Wanda's hold.
"And you're laughing?!" Wanda seethed, pushing down harder.
The two wrestled, rolling off the couch and onto the floor, limbs tangled in their struggle for dominance.
Finn sighed and leaned back against the cushions, watching as the inevitable chaos unfolded once again.
"Well," he muttered, "so much for peace."
The days ahead were going to be exhausting.
But at least... they would never be boring.
