Martial Peak - Rise Of The Human Emperor-Chapter 59 -Demonic Aura
Chapter 59 - 59 -Demonic Aura
Yang Kai suddenly stopped all movement as he furrowed his brows; he appeared to be deep in thought.
The next moment, a roar rang out. From within the darkness, a fiery brilliance erupted, scaring Nu Lang and leaving him confused. Looking at Yang Kai, he saw that his upper body was cloaked in raging light in the form of flames.
They weren't true flames, but rather what Yang Qi looked like when it had reached a certain degree of concentration. Flaming hot World Qi burned around Yang Kai, sending waves of heat through the mountain valley. The Yin Qi reacted as though it had met its worst nightmare, unable to condense around the area affected by the Yang Qi.
Due to the light of the flaming World Qi, Yang Kai's upper body became obscured. The energy was purifying and binding his muscles, appearing unrestrained as it spread across him.
Both of his fists were bloody and mutilated, and a thirty-centimeter-long gash ran across his abdomen, still bleeding. His battered body was terrifying to behold. Both of his eyes had turned scarlet, resembling those of a beast, radiating a terrifying aura of bloodlust and insanity.
Truly a demonic aura!
Nu Lang's face dropped. He hurriedly stepped backward and shouted, "Berserk magic?"
He thought that Yang Kai had lost control of his World Qi during battle, allowing it to overtake his mind. But wasn't this supposed to happen only after reaching the Qi Transforming Stage? Yang Kai was merely at the Initial Element Stage. How could this possibly happen?
"Berserk magic?" Yang Kai tilted his head and looked over with a questioning gaze. Although his eyes showed traces of rage, his expression remained cold and indifferent, as though unaffected by any berserk magic. "Your gaze is far too shortsighted."
Finishing his statement, the World Qi around his body receded. The overpowering brilliance of the flames vanished, shrinking until they only covered his two fists. His hands appeared as if they were clutching two small burning fires. Though the flames wavered, they burned with unmatched intensity.

"You are still conscious?" Nu Lang was bewildered as he searched for any trace of humanity within Yang Kai's scarlet eyes. But he was disappointed. All he saw was crazy bloodlust and an insatiable hunger for battle.
This shouldn't be. Those were the symptoms of berserk magic. There was no humanity in his gaze. So why could he still think?
"You say I'm not?" Yang Kai stepped forward, swiftly closing the distance between them. Nu Lang turned pale with fright. Yang Kai's speed had reached a terrifying level.
In desperation, Nu Lang stepped back while lashing out with his claw-shaped hands to halt Kai Yang's advance.
Yang Kai's burning fists met the attack head-on. Amidst the whistling wind of his strike, he smashed into Nu Lang's five fingers.
"Ka-cha..." A crisp breaking sound echoed, followed by a bloodcurdling scream. Nu Lang flew backward. When he landed, he felt immense pain surging from his hand. All five fingers were badly twisted and rendered useless.
Burns covered his hand, and every bone was broken.
Worse still, a violent, overbearing, and searing World Qi had invaded his body, burning through his meridians and bloodstream.
Nu Lang didn't dare to waste time. He quickly used his other hand to halt the invasion of World Qi into his disabled arm.
Just as he finished, a glimmer of light flashed before his eyes. Yang Kai was already upon him again, his fists burning even brighter.
How could Nu Lang continue the fight? Only now did he realize that even with his newly acquired strength at the Qi Transforming First Stage, he couldn't defeat Yang Kai at the Initial Element Third Stage.
Panicked, Nu Lang retreated with all his might, whistling sharply. The sound echoed throughout the valley, laced with fear and horror.
A brilliant glow surged beneath Kai Yang's feet, propelling him faster than before. Even he was surprised by his speed. Catching up swiftly, he landed a vicious punch at Nu Lang's retreating back.
Peng, peng, peng...
Blow after blow landed, leaving Nu Lang dazed and defenseless.
After fifty paces or so, Nu Lang realized he couldn't escape. Blood boiling, he abruptly stopped and shouted, "Yang Kai, don't bully others! Eagle Soars in the Sky! Kill for me!"
This was Nu Lang's most powerful skill. Gathering all his World Qi into his hands, he crossed them before his chest. As Yang Kai drew near, he struck out, tearing toward him from both sides.
Yang Kai didn't dare take it lightly. The killing intent in those hands was real.
If captured, he feared his chest would be ripped apart.
Instinctively, Yang Kai leaned to the side and lashed out with his flaming fists at Nu Lang's face.
Both men put their lives on the line. The battlefield left no room for hesitation. It was life or death—kill or be killed.
Peng!
Yang Kai's fist struck Nu Lang's face. His features twisted grotesquely. The force sent him flipping through the air before crashing into the ground.
Shua! Nu Lang's claws had also landed on Yang Kai, leaving ten bloody marks—five shallow, five deep.
But thanks to his instinctive dodge, Yang Kai had avoided the full force of the attack. One of Nu Lang's hands had already been broken, reducing the power of his technique. The uneven strength caused his attack to falter, and Yang Kai's dodge effectively broke through it.
This kind of battle relied entirely on instinct and quick judgment. Yang Kai hadn't overthought it—his movements were natural, his reaction flawless.
As calm returned to the surroundings, the outcome of the duel became clear. Panting lightly, Kai Yang still radiated that sinister aura. Nu Lang lay sprawled like a dead dog, bloodied and broken, glaring venomously at Yang Kai, who approached step by step.
"Even if I become a ghost, I won't let you off!" Nu Lang hissed, spitting blood.
Yang Kai looked down, lifted his foot, and stomped.
"Haha... the Blood Group will hear my call... they will come to kill..."
Before he could finish, Yang Kai crushed his neck.
Storm House's five people—utterly defeated.
Standing still, Yang Kai felt his blood boil and his battle urge intensify. His expression turned cold as he began to consider his next steps.
He exhaled slowly, the red gleam in his eyes dimming as the flames around his fists flickered and faded. His body was in ruins—gashes, bruises, and burns layered across every inch of skin—but his steps were steady.
He didn't look back.
There was no need. What needed to be done had been done.
Step by step, he made his way back toward the secluded cave deep within the forest's embrace. The Yin Qi around him still recoiled from the lingering heat of his World Qi, forming a subtle path forward.
His bloodied hands trembled slightly, not from pain, but from the fading adrenaline.
Soon, the familiar silhouette of the cave came into view, nestled among the shadows of the stone cliffs. A soft blue barrier still shimmered faintly, Xia Ning Chang's formation still holding strong.
Yang Kai approached and tapped lightly.
He felt the faint ripple of Qi from inside. She was still there.
With a whisper of effort, he passed through the formation. The moment he entered, a rush of soft fragrance greeted him, a soothing contrast to the coppery blood still clinging to him.
