Martial Arts Worlds-Chapter 311: Shitty Master
"Pressure?"
Loralei asked with a frown.
She knew that the pressure Kiernan was giving off was immense, but she didn't understand how that stopped Dietmar from dodging those attacks.
"That pressure is slowing down Dietmar's movements. It isn't that he doesn't want to dodge, but his body simply doesn't listen to him!
"That pressure is not a joke, and the more Dietmar keeps paying attention to that pressure, the easier it is for Kiernan to attack him.
"This is exactly what Kiernan wants! Dietmar has fallen deep into Kiernan's trap!"
The coach said with a sigh of worry as he watched the match unfold.

"That's bad!"
Loralei cried out.
…
Nightingale, Abracadabra Castle.
"Your son is very skilled!"
Nevaeh cried out in surprise.
It surprised her greatly, even though she expected Kiernan to be quite skilled, as he still had the record at the Game.
"Heh!"
Bella proudly smirked, but she was also quite surprised at the level of Kiernan's skill.
It was hard to see, and some laymen who had only a surface-level knowledge of martial arts would never understand what was truly happening in the match.
She wasn't a laywoman, and she recognized the intricate techniques being executed by Kiernan.
"Kiernan is using his pressure as a weapon. He's controlling the pace and dictating the flow of the fight.
"I am sure he could win this fight without doing all this, as he has superior martial arts rank and superior techniques, but it is as if he is trying to prove something to someone…
"That his martial arts is more than just flashy techniques…"
Bella said and wondered what was truly going on in her son's life.
…
'Do you see, shitty master?'
Kiernan smashed his fist at Dietmar's face and sent him sliding back with a bleeding nose.
Right next to the ring, Master Ichiro stood alone with his arms crossed, a deadpan expression on his face.
He was impossible to everyone else, but not for Kiernan, who was able to see him as clear as day, as if he were some kind of ghost.
'You know nothing about Iron Style!'
Dietmar jabbed towards Kiernan in a desperate attempt. He wanted to at least get some breathing room from the relentless attacks.
However.
"Rendering Edge!"
Kiernan smacked the jabbing hands away, neared him with a long step, and then smashed his palm hand into Dietmar's face.
CRACK!
The nose, where the palm landed, broke, and blood gushed down Dietmar's face.
"Unbelievable! Absolutely unbelievable!"
Chris Chang shouted from the commentator's booth.
He and the rest of the audience couldn't believe what they were seeing.
A fight, they all expected to be very close, was completely one-sided, as if the one side wasn't even trying to fight back!
The strength difference shouldn't be so crazy!
After all, it was already the semifinals!
"Kiernan keeps advancing and advancing. There is nothing that Dietmar can do! He had completely lost control of the match as soon as he failed to break through Kiernan's defenses!"
"This is the strength of Kiernan! His absolute defense breaks down his opponent's wills, and then he unleashes his attacks with precision and power!"
"We all know that Dietmar is a striker, so defending is not what he does, but maybe he overestimated himself. Maybe he should've gone for a different strategy after seeing the failure of his teammates!"
"Yeah, but what can he do? Defend? The match would've gone exactly how it's going right now. Dietmar is simply outclassed in every aspect!"
The commentators finished their shouting match and focused their attention on the match once more.
…
Montclair High's locker room.
"So powerful…"
Mateo whispered to himself, but despite him being quiet, it was still heard by Zachary.
"Powerful? More like pathetic!"
Zachary scoffed in ridicule.
"I would've already won the match. And about all the fuss about his defense? With a single punch from me, that defense would shatter like glass!"
"Y-yes, you're correct, Zachary…"
Mateo said timidly.
"Of course I am correct!"
Zachary crossed his arms, his bravado oozing from every pore.
SMACK!
However, at that moment, someone smacked him on the back of the head, and it wasn't any weak smack.
It made Zachary stumble forward and nearly fall to the ground.
If it was anyone else, Zachary would've lost his mind and ripped the person's head off his shoulders, but he knew that there was only one person who was able to knock him off his feet like that.
"M-master?"
He timidly lowered his head and looked at Alabaster.
"Keep your mouth shut, Zachary. If you dare to underestimate Kiernan and lose because of it, I will kill you."
Zachary's face paled, and he nodded rapidly like a pecking chicken.
The rest of the locker room thought that Alabaster was joking about the 'kill you' comment, but Zachary knew better.
He really meant it!
'I don't understand all that fuss about Kiernan. Why the hell is even Master worried about him? I will easily crush him.
'I already overpowered him in our slap fight, and the entire social media is of the opinion that I am the stronger one.
'Sometimes I think that master would've preferred to have Kiernan as his disciple… No matter what I do, he is never satisfied!'
Zachary thought with red eyes and then turned to look at the screen, where Kiernan dominated Dietmar, and his hatred consumed him.
'I will kill you, Kiernan.'
…
Dietmar's fists whizzed through the air, but they got smacked out of the air, as if they were birds being shot down by a hunter.
'Impossible!'
His eyes widened in shock as Kiernan's strength overpowered him effortlessly.
It didn't matter how many punches he kept throwing—none of them was able to reach Kiernan. Not a single one of them!
Kiernan suddenly placed his fist on Dietmar's chest and calmly whispered.
"Iron Fist."
SMACK!
The impact smashed through his chest and landed at his heart.
"Ugh…"
Dietmar's eyes immediately rolled back to his skull, and he collapsed on the ground like a puppet with its strings cut.
"Whoo…"
Kiernan stood in his defensive stance, looking at the unconscious Dietmar with a casual expression.
The stadium went silent, and slowly, the people of Karuza High realized what this meant. It meant that they were heading to the championship match.
"Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!"
