Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 153: Way too fast
Both Davian and Silvia still couldn’t believe this was happening, as they sat at the dinning room facing the lawyer who just passed the divorce papers to them.
Silvia was the first to sign then she passed the papers and pen to Davian and looked away.
Davian couldn’t believe how easily she did that.
He looked at the papers, this was happening. He could actually say he won’t sign it but was it worth the trouble, she didn’t want him anymore, she didn’t want this anymore and it would be better to just let her go.
His eyes met hers. She had been staring at him. He couldn’t read her expression, she didn’t want him to sign it but was too strong headed to stop it.
Davian sighed and signed the documents.
This was it.
They were no longer husband and wife.
*All because of a silly mistake.

"What? When did it happen? Why didn’t you tell me before now?" Ray asked.
After signing the papers, Davian went to grab a drink with Ray.
"Would it make a difference?" Davian responded.
"Davian, after everything you’ve been through with that woman, how could you let her go so easily? You didn’t fight for her-"
Davian laughed.
"I didn’t fight for her," Davian repeated.
"She didn’t fight for us first. She let me go so easily and how can I fight for something that is completely lost. Hmm?" Davian continued.
"Davian-"
"I’m going home." He ended and left.
He lives in the penthouse which he had bought for his mother. He just slumped on the bed when he got there.
As he thought about everything, silent tears just walked down his eyes. It felt like yesterday, like a dream- A nightmare; The divorce just happened way too fast.
He groaned in agony.
Ray’s reaction was also how everyone else reacted when they heard about their divorce.
"You should have confided in me first Silvia. How can you make such a rash decision?" Janet, Silvia’s mom chastised.
"What got into you?" She added.
"Mom please, I’ve been going a lot lately and I don’t have any strength left to argue with you what I should have done instead. He cheated and lied to me, I forgave him but the woman he cheated on me with is pregnant and he and her refuses to get rid of the pregnancy-"
"Why would you ask such a thing from them?" Janet cuts in.
"I’m not sharing my children’s father with anyone!" Silvia replied.
There was silence.
"Didn’t you ever love him?" Janet asked.
Silvia smiled bittersweetly.
"Mom... At first it was just a contract marriage to fool you and dad so that I won’t have to get married to Gabriel Yul," Silvia told.
"What?"
"What Silvia?! So all these, everything has been a lie?-" 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"No mom, not everything."
Silvia opened up to her mom, told her everything.
"Did I ever love him? I did. I still do and I know he loves me too and he’s hurting as much as I am and now... Now I’m not too sure if getting a divorce was the right thing to do." Janet hugged her daughter.
Silvia hugged her back.
"You know, for a very smart person like myself, I can’t help but be stupid and irrational when it comes to these things." Silvia continued.
"It’s okay sweetheart." Janet comforted.
Silvia stop hugging her. She stood up from the couch they were both sitting on.
"Silvia!" Janet stood up immediately to hold her as she was about to faint.
"What’s wrong?" Janet asked as she made her sit again.
"I just felt like vomiting just now that’s why I stood up but I suddenly felt dizzy," Silvia explained.
"Silvia please let’s go to the hospital, you’ve been too stressed out these days-"
"No mom, I’d... I’d be fine..." Silvia trailed off as she finally passed out.
"Silvia! Silvia!!"
...
"Silvia... How do you feel?" Cia’s voice echoed in her ears as she started waking up.
"Take it easy Silvia," Janet added as Silvia started getting up. She sat up.
"You’re in the hospital, you passed out dear." Janet informed.
"Cia, is Silvia alright?" Janet directed to Cia worriedly.
"Well uhm-" Alan just barged in immediately.
"Silvia," he rushed towards her. "What happened?" He asked, his strong gaze on his wife.
"She passed out so I brought her here," Janet responded.
"Silvia, why are you letting this happen to you? Don’t stress yourself over that guy. Are you going to let yourself fall into depression because of that cheating bastard?" Alan uttered.
Silvia scoffed, "How ironic! A cheating bastard calling someone else a cheating bastard." Silvia stared into her father’s eyes.
"Davian is nothing like you and I’m not my mom to fall into depression." Silvia added.
"How can you talk to us like that all because of that fraud of a husband?" Alan said.
Silvia switched her gaze to her mom.
"I’m sorry, I couldn’t stop myself from telling him immediately, I told him over the phone." Janet told, apologetically.
"That’s right. I know everything! How could you think of pulling such a stunt and to think you’ve been keeping up with this for months, when were you going to tell your mother and I if that man had never cheated on you.
"He’s just a f**king gold digger and you let yourself fall for him. I don’t remember having such a stupid daughter-"
"You have no rights to speak to me like that-"
"I AM YOUR FATHER!" Alan yelled.
"Please! Everyone! Calm down. Silvia is already too stressed out as it is, don’t stress her out more. It’s not good for the baby," Sentencia intervened.
"..."
"What?" Silvia was the first to break the silence.
"What baby?" Janet asked, she couldn’t even hide the excitement underneath her tone.
"You’re pregnant Silvia." Cia continued.
"That can’t be, are you sure Sentencia?" Alan questioned.
"Yes, we carried out a general test on her to see if she’s just stressed out or if it was something else and we got to see that she is fine and just pregnant." Sentencia explained.
"No, this can’t be happening. We’d have to get rid of it Silvia." Alan reacted.
