Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 137: I’m sorry
"Well, she is currently out of danger for now," the doctor started. Leo and Helen let out a breath of relieve.
"And the child?" Helen inquired.
"The child is okay as well but the mother needs to take good care of herself from now on as due to the fall, the pregnancy have become critical and delicate," the doctor replied.
"She only sustained a injury to her head but she will be fine very soon since it wasn’t severe. She is unconscious for now but I’m sure she is going to wake up real soon," the doctor added.
"Can I see her?" Leo asked.
"Of course, please excuse me." the doctor ended.
Leo inquired from the nurse at the reception, what room Olivia was in. She told him and he went to see her.
When he got there, Olivia had just woken up.
"Olivia?" he went towards her.
"Leo..." she managed to say.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
"How is our baby? How is my baby Leo?" Olivia asked instead, worriedly.
"Our baby is fine Olivia. You don’t have to worry, how are you?" he questioned.
"I’m fine," she replied, "I just have a little headache," she added, her hand went to her head which was wrapped around at the forehead, with a bandage.
"You are going to be alright, okay?" he assured and she nodded. She flashed a smile at him, he looked so worried.
"Did something else happen today?" she asked.
"No it’s just...today, I thought...I was going to lose you, you and our child. I... really don’t know what I would have done," she saw as drops of tears walked down his cheeks, her hand went to his cheek to caress him.
"It’s okay, okay? Besides, we are still here, aren’t we?" she reassured.
"I know but...I thought, I might lose you without even getting to tell you that I love you," he expressed and Olivia’s heart skipped a beat at his words.
"Without telling you how much I love you Olivia. This made me realize it, realized how deep and true my feelings were, for you. I love you so much Olivia," he added.
She smiled, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as well. "I love you too Leo,"
He didn’t know hearing her say those words would make him so happy. He leaned in and kissed her bandaged forehead so gently and lovingly. The last single drop of tear fell down his cheek as he shut his eyes.
Few minutes later, his mother walked into the room.
"Olivia?," she began. "Olivia dear, how are you feeling?" she added.
"I feel fine. Thank you," Olivia responded.
Helen walked closer to her, "I’m so sorry Olivia, I let this happen. How did you even slipped and fall?"
"Well..." Olivia thought. She couldn’t quite remember.
"Uhm..." she continued.
"You don’t have to answer now Olivia. Don’t stress your head and yourself, just get some rest," Leo replied.
"No, I remember now. I...I was going upstairs to use the bathroom upstairs then I...I met Colleen up the stairs. I think we talked for some while but then...I started to fall down the stairs until everything went black." Olivia explained.
Leo and Helen couldn’t believe their ears. Did Colleen really pushed Olivia down the stairs? Why would she?
Helen and Leo left the room shortly. They went back to the reception and they saw Colleen still there.
"Leo?!" Helen tried to intervene when Leo grabbed Colleen’s shoulders and had her back on the wall.
"What is this Leo?" Colleen questioned.
"Did you push her?" Leo asked.
"(Scoff) What the hell are you talking about?" she feigned ignorance.
"I’m going to ask you just one last time, did you push Olivia down the stairs?!" Leo fumed.
Colleen did not respond at first.
"Why would you?" Helen asked further. Colleen’s eyes glanced at the room.
People were staring at them because Leo was literally causing a scene. They need to take this somewhere else.
"Was that what she told you both?" Colleen asked them, she scoffed again and knocked Leo’s hands off her shoulders. She marched towards Olivia’s room in the hospital.
"How dare you?!" Colleen started when she burst in. Olivia was awake.
"Don’t come close to her," Leo came in between Olivia and Colleen.
"How dare you lie to them that I pushed you down the stairs? You tramp!" Colleen spat.
"I never said you pushed me. We were talking at the top of the stairs before I fell, that’s all I said," Olivia replied.
"You have heard her yourselves, right? I didn’t push her!" Colleen directed to Leo and Helen.
"Okay. You didn’t push her, but why didn’t you help her when she fell?" Leo pointed out and Colleen was silenced.
She didn’t think of this scenario.
"You left her there to bleed. Why Colleen?" Helen questioned.
Colleen couldn’t believe her own brother and mother have turned against her all because of Olivia.
"Why? They aren’t my responsibility after all," Colleen responded.
SLAP!
Colleen didn’t expect to get slapped by her mother. She hasn’t been slapped by her before, this was the first time.
"How can you say such things? Do you have any idea that you almost endangered your own brother’s child? Olivia, I get it but...how can you be so wicked towards an innocent child who hasn’t even been born yet.
"When did you become this bitter? Why did you become like this? This isn’t you Colleen, what has come over you," Helen chastised.
Tears began to walk down Colleen’s cheeks as the words sank in. She was right, this isn’t her. She can take her anger out on Olivia but not the child.
She should have called for help immediately Olivia had fallen down the stairs. What was she thinking? What had gotten into her? Why did she do that?
Olivia’s words earlier before she had fallen, also began to ring in Colleen’s head.
/Why is it that you always blame me for every single thing that happens?/
//No. You are wrong, if I hadn’t come into your lives, Gabriel might have still died or maybe Leo instead. Because Gabriel is already a terrible person and he would do anything to become the CEO//
///So please, stop trying to blame me for every single thing that happens///
////I won’t, because all I’m saying is the truth! Find something or someone else to vent your anger on////
And she was right.
She feels so ashamed of herself right now.
"I’m sorry," Colleen said with her head a little bowed.
"I’m so so sorry," she added then she grabbed Olivia’s hand and continued.
"Olivia, I’m sorry. Can you ever forgive me?" she turned to her mom.
"Mom, I’m sorry. I didn’t know what came over me, I’m sincerely sorry," she continued to cry. Helen began to rub on her daughter’s shoulder. Whenever Colleen cries while apologizing, it means she truly meant the apology.
"It’s okay. As long as you are truly sorry, nothing is unforgivable," Helen told.
Olivia squeezed on Colleen’s hands, "Nothing is unforgivable, as long as you are really repentant,"
"Thank you Olivia. I promise I will be good to you from now on. You were right, you weren’t responsible for the mishaps and I had no right to take it out on you," Colleen responded.
"It’s okay." Olivia ended.
Colleen’s gaze went to Leo. He sighed and turned away. From his expression, Colleen knew it will take a longer time to earn his forgiveness. But she won’t give up.

Sentencia was at Fi’s house. They were watching a movie from the TV as they sat on the sofa.
The couple on the TV were currently camping together.
"Hmm... it’s been so long since I went camping. You really have no time to do some certain things once you reach maturity," Cia stated.
"Really," Fi responded, his hand was on Cia’s waist while both of hers wrapped across him, her head on his chest as they enjoyed the movie.
"Hmm hmm," she affirmed.
"Would you like to go camping with me?" he grinned.
She smiled up at him, "I would love to but I don’t have enough time for that," she pouted sadly.
"Okay, I understand. But I’m going to surprise you once of these days," he replied.
She chuckled, "Surprise me? How? With what?"
"Hush...why do they call it a surprise?" he responded.
She laughed again.
A few days later, she had just returned from work when she received a call from Fi.
"Right now?" she asked, she was a little tired.
{Yes, right now. It’s important, please...}
"Okay." she agreed.
She freshened up and got dressed, then she entered her car and drove off to the said place, where Fi had wanted to meet up.
When she got there and parked her car, she noticed the place was a camping site.
She soon found Fi;
"Why did you wanted to meet up here?" she asked with a smile.
"Well, you wanted to go camping. Nowadays, you really don’t have to go to the woods before you can enjoy camping. So...here we are," Fi replied and then he showed her to their tent which was already set up.
"Wow..." her hands went to her mouth.
It was beautiful.
