Married To The Last Ice Dragon-Chapter 100: Lianna’s truth 4
Julius was secretly released by Lianna, and he took her to his companion’s house, which was in a very small town in Credia.
It was late at night when they arrived, and there were no signs of people outside, but there were signs of light inside the houses, indicating that there were people living in the town.
"Stealing is a bad idea in Credia," Lianna said as they walked past houses.
"I know, I know, but I need the money." Lianna rolled her eyes as Julius spoke arrogantly.
"Do you know why I let you go?" Lianna inquired, nonchalantly.
"Because you are the antagonist in this story," Julius replied solemnly.
Lianna gasped, stopped in front of a house, grabbed his arm and forced him to look at her. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"What story?" She growled through her teeth.
"I am kidding." Lianna frowned as Julius burst out laughing.
"Where is your companion’s home?! I am getting tired of walking." She grumbled and let go of his arm.
"Here," Julius said, pointing to the front door of the house they were standing in front of.
Lianna nodded and he smiled, proceeding to knock on the door.
The door swung open, revealing a man who appeared to have just awoken from a long nap. He had a drool at the edge of his lips and his eyes widened when he saw Lianna.
"Good day, lovely." He chuckled, pretending to be charming, while Lianna looked at him in disgust.
"She is the princess; Dexter, behave yourself." Julius yelled at him, pushed him inside, and Lianna followed.
"I let you go because I need you to threaten my sister after the great war that is coming soon." Lianna abruptly said, and Dexter and Julius looked at her, puzzled.
"War?" They all asked at the same time.
"Soon, all the mages will be wiped out, and I will become queen, with you two as my second in command, as cunning as you both are." They nodded in interest as Lianna revealed herself.
"Why should I threaten your sister when she will almost certainly die in the war?" Julius inquired, perplexed.
Lianna gave a nod. "You make an excellent point." She then giggled, maliciously rubbing her palms.
She needed cunning men to rule alongside her, and no one will be able to outwit them.
As time passed, Lianna, back in the castle, noticed Genevieve sneaking out of the kingdom to see someone.
One day, she decided to follow Genevieve in secret and use whatever secret she was keeping against her.
She ended up trailing Genevieve, who rode a horse while she walked.
Lianna followed Genevieve to a forest far away from Credia and was sure she had been walking for eternity. She began to regret her life decisions until Genevieve suddenly dismounted her horse and Rares, leapt from a tree and landed in front of her.
Genevieve laughed, and they hugged tenderly.
"Did I keep you waiting for too long?" Genevieve asked, burying her face in Rare’s chest.
"No, my dear." Rares whispered, and they broke their embrace, staring at each other passionately.
"I am glad," Genevieve smiled and crashed her lips against Rares’s, who returned the kiss by wrapping his arms around her body.
Lianna’s eyes widened in shock as she watched them, her eyes teared up, and she began to tremble.
Genevieve had a secret relationship with Rares, a dragon.
She then sniffed and smiled in agony.
Lianna returned to the castle and found her father in the main hall, where he was having a meeting with the elders of the kingdom.
She screamed and fell to her knees, making a dramatic entrance.
"Father! Please accept my sincere apologies!" She screamed.
Lucian was startled and stood up from his chair. "Lianna?" He called, confused by her sudden scream.
Lianna stood up, sobbing and stuttering. "I.. I.."
Lucian became concerned as she attempted to catch her breath.
"Lianna, speak up!" Lucian yelled.
"Genevieve has a secret relationship with a dragon who is a lord in the kingdom of Anitca." Lianna reported and bursted out crying.
"Impossible!" Lucian screamed angrily.
"This cannot be!" One of the elders yelled in annoyance.
"This is an abomination!" Another yelled, and at that instant, Genevieve walked in, smiling while lost in her thoughts.
"Genevieve!" Lucian yelled angrily, jolting her out of her reverie.
She gasped, noticing the tension in the room, and became concerned when she saw Lianna’s face wet with tears.
"Lianna?" She called and wanted to run to her sister.
"Stop right there and answer this question!" Lucian yelled, causing her to stop and face her him.
"What did I do wrong?" She was perplexed.
"Are you in love with a dragon? Tell me you are not in love with a dragon and have a secret relationship with him!" Lucian yelled in rage, and Genevieve was certain she had never seen her father so enraged.
She immediately lowered her head. "I can not lie to you, Father." She muttered.
"How long has this been going on?" One of the elders asked angrily, and all of the elders rose from their seats.
"I.."
"Nothing but a disgrace, an abomination!"
"We all thought you were sensible, but you let us down!"
"I propose we exile her!"
Lucian looked at his daughter with pain and disappointment, while Genevieve couldn’t stop the tears from streaming down her face as the elders spoke.
Lianna, who was watching this, had a hidden smile on her face.
"Genevieve Donovan has been banished from Credia. You will have no ties to the mages, me, or your sister! Get out!" Lucian roared.
Genevieve did not object her father being aware of the laws. Nothing could persuade her father and the elders to change their minds.
Once a mage was banished, he or she was banished for life, not to ever return to their kingdom.
She raised her head, looking into her father’s pained and angry eyes, and bowed her head in respect.
"I love you, father," she said, with a sniff before vanishing from view of everyone in the main hall.
Lucian burst into tears, while Lianna walked out of the room with a big smile on her face.
"Perfect devastation, just the way I like it."
