Married For Now-Chapter 160: AMNESIAC HUSBAND
Chapter 160: AMNESIAC HUSBAND
WHEN SOHEE’S group arrived at the beautiful villa on Nami Island, President Kang Nari and Shaman Jung were already there.
The villa was surrounded by bodyguards, as expected.
"Let’s head inside," President Kang Nari said. "My husband said they’re in the master’s bedroom. Apparently, Heedo got so stressed that Dr. Seong Kyungmin had to put him on an IV drip to reduce his anxiety."
Ah, it was probably sedative then.
My poor baby...
However, when they got into the villa, they saw Kim Heedo— who wasn’t in the bedroom, obviously— on his way to the dining hall with Vice Chairman Kim Dohan.
"Honey, kids, you’re here," Vice Chairman Kim Dohan greeted them. "Heedo insisted he wanted to eat, so we took him out of the IV drip..." The vice chairman trailed off, and then he knitted his eyebrows while walking towards his wife. "Honey, what happened to your face?"
President Kang Nari’s check was still swollen after getting slapped (accidentally) by Chairman Kim Hyungsik earlier.
Mother-in-law put an ice pack on her cheek before we left, but it’s still a bit swollen.
Sohee had to commend Vice Chairman Kim Dohan for being sharp-eyed.
Father-in-law immediately noticed his wife’s swollen cheek, even if it was barely noticeable.
"Let’s talk about this later, honey," President Kang Nari said while shaking her head. "But don’t worry too much— I’m fine."
"You’re not fine, honey," Vice Chairman Kim Dohan said. "Who did this to you?"
"Honey, it’s not important right now."
The vice chairman sighed, and then he turned to Sohee.
I’m no snitch, but this is something my father-in-law should know. I don’t have the power to fight Chairman Kim, after all.
"Father-in-law, I’m sorry," Sohee said, bowing his head. He wasn’t acting remorseful— he really felt like it was his fault that his mother-in-law was hit by Chairman Kim Hyungsok in his place. "I was supposed to be the one hit by Chairman Kim. But Mother-in-law protected me."
"So, it was my father."
Sohee just bowed his head deeper.
"Eomma, is it true?" Kim Heedo asked worriedly while walking towards his mother. "Grandfather hit you?"
Oh, he’s upset.
Kim Heedo’s pheromones smelled bad because of his negative feeling at the moment.
"Yes, it’s true that Father-in-law hit me. And it’s fine," President Kang Nari said. "I’d rather get hit than let Park Sohee take it."
"Tsk!"
Sohee bit his lower lip when Kim Heedo clicked his tongue loudly.
I have nothing to say even if Heedo and Father-in-law blame me...
"Why would Grandfather try to hit a pregnant Omega?"
Sohee lifted his head and met Kim Heedo’s gaze, a bit shocked.
Is he worried about me? I thought he’d blame me for what happened to his mother...
"Hyung, if Grandfather tries to hit you again, fight back. Don’t just stand there and take the hit," Kim Heedo said, frustrated. "I’ll take care of the consequences, so do whatever it takes to protect yourself if you find yourself alone in that kind of situation again."
Hmm?
Sohee was a bit surprised and touched.
I mean, the Heedo with his memories would have said it in a nicer and sweeter way. But it’s still unexpected for the amnesiac Heedo to choose my side instead of his grandfather. He did that even though he hadn’t heard the full story yet.
And Sohee wasn’t the only one who noticed that.
"W-Why are you looking at me like that?" Kim Heedo asked while looking around. "Don’t look at me with warm eyes. It’s awkward!"
"Son, we’re just proud of you," President Kang Nari said. "You still care about Sohee even after you’ve lost your memories."
Vice Chairman Kim Dohan nodded in agreement. "That’s true love, I must say."
"No, it’s not like that, Appa," Kim Heedo denied vehemently, his face turning red as if he was embarrassed. "I’m just worried about our baby, that’s all!"
"’Our’ baby," Sohee repeated softly while placing his hands on his tummy. "Thank you for saying that, Heedo-ya."
Kim Heedo’s ears and neck turned red, then he avoided Sohee’s eyes before running away to the dining hall. "I’m just trying to be a decent human, okay?"
***
"WHY DID you run away when we’re in the same villa anyway?" Sohee asked, teasing Kim Heedo. "Is this how the nineteen-year-old Kim Heedo acted in the past?"
Kim Heedo just frowned, and then he continued eating his soft tofu stew.
Fortunately, my husband asked the kitchen staff to cook soft tofu stew for him. I’m kind of craving tofu anyway. I wonder if the amnesiac Heedo somehow remembered it.
"Sohee Hyung, Heedo was worse than that when we were younger," Yang Jaewon said teasingly. "Whenever he was embarrassed, he made it everyone else’s problem."
Kwon Gaon nodded in agreement. "The nineteen-year-old Kim Heedo was really childish, Hyung."
"Yah," Kim Heedo complained. "Why are you talking shit about me?"
Yang Jaewon and Kwon Gaon just shrugged.
"They’re telling the truth, though," Hong Sera said teasingly, but then she suddenly turned serious. "Heedo-ya, I hope your memory loss is only temporary. I don’t think I can forgive you if you do anything stupid, even if you have amnesia."
The atmosphere suddenly turned cold.
Cho Euntak, the youngest among them, could barely swallow his food.
Aigoo.
Only Sohee, Hong Sera, Yang Jaewon, Kwon Gaon, and Cho Euntak joined Kim Heedo in his early dinner.
All of them were in the dining hall at the moment, except the elders.
The older adults— President Kang Nari, Vice Chairman Kim Dohan, Shaman Jung, and Dr. Seong Kyungmin— went to the reception room to talk.
Of course, the bodyguards were also there.
"Hong Sera, why are you being hostile to me?" Kim Heedo complained. "What did I do?"
"You’ll find out soon," Hong Sera said, putting down her utensils. Then she wiped the corner of her mouth with the napkin so elegantly. "Are you done eating, Heedo-ya?"
"Why?"
"Bring me to Lee Junsu now."
Sohee’s face beamed, already feeling excited for what Hong Sera was about to "serve."
I live for this kind of drama.

"STOP sprouting bullshit, Sanha-ssi," Lee Junsu warned the bastard while glaring at him. "Don’t answer questions that are meant for me to answer."
Sanha, who was lying down on the bed— on his stomach— while reading a lifestyle magazine featuring Chairman Kim Hyungsik, smirked. "So you could lie? Come on, Junsu-ya. You’re not stupid. Do you think you could lie when Kim Heedo’s parents are here? Plus, don’t underestimate Park Sohee."
Park Sohee?
Heh.
Now that Heedo has lost his memories, that hyung is probably sulking.
"Just don’t get in my way."
"I’ve been so good to you, huh?"
"Excuse me?"
Sanha closed the magazine, and then he got up.
Oh.
Lee Junsu didn’t want to admit this, but the serious look on Sanha’s face when he stood in front of him scared him.
This bastard doesn’t pretend to be nice in front of me anymore.
"Junsu-ya, you’re mine," Sanha said bluntly. "Don’t even dream about getting back with Kim Heedo because I won’t allow it. The only reason I allowed you to go this far is because I want you to become an Omega on your own accord. And now that I got what I wanted, I won’t allow you to continue your obsession with your ex-boyfriend."
Lee Junsu clenched his hands tight. "I’ve already turned into an Omega. But I could only get pregnant if I sleep with a Hyper-Dominant Alpha."
Or if he took pills mixed with a Hyper-Dominant Alpha’s pheromones.
As of now, his body had already changed. But just having a womb didn’t mean he could get pregnant. It would be hard for an unnatural Omega like him to do so.
I need a miracle like what happened to Lim Garam-ssi.
"Don’t worry about that," Sanha said, grabbing Lee Junsu by the shoulders. "I’ll get you pregnant whatever it takes."
"I just don’t want to get pregnant, you stupid bastard— I want to get pregnant with Kim Heedo’s baby."
Sanha’s face immediately darkened.
Even so, Lee Junsu wasn’t scared. He knew that Sanha wouldn’t hurt him physically. That never happened before either.
"Lee Junsu, you’re really..."
Sanha trailed off when the door of their bedroom suddenly burst open.
Lee Junsu actually expected to see Kim Heedo.
But the person who marched inside the room was Hong Sera.
Ah, dammit.
Lee Junsu removed Sanha’s hands from his shoulders before facing Hong Sera properly. "Sera-ya, there has been a misunderstanding—"
Slap.
Lee Junsu felt like his neck almost snapped when Hong Sera slapped him so hard his face turned to the other side painfully.
That fucking hurts.
***
KIM HEEDO was shocked when Hong Sera suddenly slapped Lee Junsu hard.
He was about to stop Hong Sera when she raised her hand again, but Kwon Gaon and Yang Jaewon grabbed each of his arms.
Hence, he had no choice but to watch Hong Sera slap Lee Junsu on his other cheek.
The slap seemed to be harder than the first one.
No wonder Lee Junsu’s cheeks turned red.
Heedo noticed that Sanha, the man who was supposed to be Lee Junsu’s new boyfriend, didn’t seem like he had any intention of stopping Hong Sera.
It was as if even Sanha himself knew Lee Junsu deserved those slaps.
But why?
"Why is Sera so angry at Lee Junsu?" Heedo asked, confused. "What did Lee Junsu do?"
"Lee Junsu hired a thug to hit Sera’s car with a dump truck," Yang Jaewon said sternly. "Heedo-ya, because of that accident, Sera fell into a coma for a few days."
Kwon Gaon nodded firmly as if to confirm that Yang Jaewon was saying the truth.
Okay, that was shocking.
My friends wouldn’t lie to me. Plus, Jaewon and Gaon don’t play with Sera’s well-being. I can tell that they’re really upset with Lee Junsu.
Heedo knitted his eyebrows. "But why would Lee Junsu do that to Sera?"
This time, it was Park Sohee who answered his question.
"Because you asked Sera to investigate why Lee Junsu is targeting me," Park Sohee said bluntly. "Heedo-ya, Lee Junsu wanted to break us up and steal my luck."
