Chapter 188: Familiar situation

’His injuries... they are healing by themselves... and at such an insane speed...’ He thought, with a puzzled, yet astonished expression on his face.

No matter how he viewed it, it was nothing short of shocking... and at the same time, amazing.

Right before his eyes, he could see the flesh around the cut wriggle and connect themselves back together.

The injury which was very deep, kept getting smaller with every passing second, and the flesh around it gradually closed up.

It wasn’t that he had never seen someone healing before, however, a lot of things were very different about this particular one.

Physical Regeneration was a feat that could only be achieved by combat mages, but from what he could sense, this person was an Elementalist, and one at the first stage for that matter, how was it that his body was able to heal itself? It just didn’t make any sense.

Still curious, he shifted his gaze from the cut and moved it to the face of the injured boy, eager to find out his identity.

’Huh... this person.’ Terry thought, with his brows furrowed slightly in surprise. ’Isn’t this the kid I met few months ago...’

"What was his name again..." He mumbled, while tapping his forehead slightly. "Harry... Morton I think."

There was no way he could forget the face of that particular teenager, especially since the grand mage Nate personally intervened in his matter.

His expression suddenly twisted into a slight frown, and his brows creased in confusion.

There was something he found quite odd about the person in front of him... the last time he met Harry, he remembered vividly that his mana core foundation was completely shattered, however, the Harry he was looking at right now, had a vibrant mana core, bursting with a high density of mana.

’He is even close to breaking through to the second stage, just what the hell happened?’ He thought.

"Hey! Terry!" A loud shout suddenly reverberated in the air, breaking the solemn atmosphere.

The frown on Terry’s face immediately deepened the moment he heard that familiar voice, and he let out a soft sigh, before turning his head to the side.

Flying in the air was a beautiful blonde haired woman with two large blue wings made of water flowing out of her back.

The large water wings flapped gently, continuously blowing wind and keeping her afloat.

With a slight smile on her face, she slowly descended to the ground, her eyes locked on Terry the whole time.

Just as her feet touched the ground, the two wings at her back rapidly disintegrated into tiny blue particles.

"It’s good you’re finally here... Trish." Terry mumbled with a soft exhale. The expression on his face swiftly turned serious as he turned towards her.

"Have you taken care of everything?" He asked, to which the blonde haired woman simply nodded her head in reply.

"That’s good." Terry mumbled, before turning back to Harry’s unconscious figure on the ground.

"I still have things to do here... I’ll need you to take this person to a hospital, he is seriously injured, and is suffering from severe blood loss." Trent said, before letting out a low sigh.

’It’s clear that he tried to fight the beast, a stage one Elementalist against a stage four mana beast... i don’t know whether to call that bravery or stupidity.’ Terry thought, before turning around.

However, just as he was about to leave, a voice suddenly sounded from his back, one that caught his attention.

"Huh... Terry, I thought you said he was seriously injured..." Trish mumbled in shock as she stared at Harry’s torso.

Even though there was a deep pool of blood surrounding that area, one thing that surprised her was that there was no single cut, or opening on his body.

It was as if the blood was just there for nothing, with no sign of any wound or injury.

Terry’s face immediately morphed into a frown when he heard her words, and he swiftly turned back to the brown-haired figure lying unconscious on the ground.

However, his eyes widened in shock as he realised something. "What... the wound... it’s completely healed?!" He subconsciously exclaimed in surprise.

’Hmm... this is certainly something...’ Terry thought, with a wry smile on his face. "Just take him to the hospital Trish, he’s lost a of blood, and still needs urgent medical help." He said.

"Huh... but..." Trish was about to say something, but she suddenly went silent, before gently nodding her head in response.

She still didn’t understand what was going on, though she already had a vague idea. However, since it was an order from Terry, her superior, she couldn’t argue pointlessly. Besides, they still had a lot of things to deal with, she was sure it would all be explained to her sooner or later.

"Arrgh!" Harry softly groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He could feel that his back was resting on something soft and cushy, and the first thought that came to him was that he was lying on a bed.

For a few seconds, his sight was blurry and he couldn’t see anything except for a white ceiling that hung above him.

"Huh... where a—" He wasn’t able to complete his sentence when a set of notifications suddenly started flashed across his eyes, breaking him out of his daze.

[Healing and Regeneration Level up!]

[Healing and Regeneration now Level 5!]

[Healing and Regeneration Level up!]

[Healing and Regeneration now level 6!]

Harry read through the notifications with a slight frown on his face, now that his head had cleared, he clearly remembered what happened with the mana beast.

Looking at the notifications that appeared in front of him, he didn’t know whether to feel happy or annoyed about it.

It seemed like the wound he sustained from the mana beast was so terrible that [Healing and Regeneration] was able to level up twice.

Since his skills levelled up the more they were used, it only made sense that such deep injuries managed to increase the skill level.

’Still... it’s still very embarrassing, to think I can’t even follow the speed of a stage four mana beast... how pathetic.’ Harry mumbled inwardly, before finally closing the set of level up notifications in front of him.

’Where am I...’ Harry thought as his eyes roamed around the room. It didn’t take long before he realised where he was; the bed, the ceiling and even the set of drips that hung by the side of the bed, they all felt too familiar to him.

"In a hospital... again." He mumbled, before letting out a low hiss. The adventurer he met back then was clearly the one that saved him and brought him to the hospital... just like the last time.

’It’s as if... nothing has really changed...’ Harry thought, and his face morphed into a slight frown.
