Make Me Moan Mr Therapist.-Chapter 30: Do you mean... kidnap him?
"Uhmm... Gabe," Alex began hesitantly, swallowing hard as he rubbed the back of his neck. "There’s no way I can take care of you personally. I mean...." he exhaled softly, "...I have work to attend to, sessions to run, patients to meet. So I’ll have to assign someone else to help you with your needs."
He paused, watching Gabe’s tear-streaked face. Something about those eyes ... wide, pleading, and fragile made his chest tighten again, and that frustrated him more than he wanted to admit.
Besides, Alex thought inwardly, sighing deeply as he leaned back a little, I just know he’s up to something. He’s too clever for his own good. A master manipulator in the making. His lips twitched faintly. Yeah, I know it hurts seeing him cry like this but my gut tells me it’s planned. He’s doing it on purpose, using those tears to gain my pity.
"I’m scared, Alex," Gabe murmured suddenly, his trembling voice pulling Alex out of his thoughts. Tears still streamed down his cheeks, glistening under the soft light. "I’m afraid... afraid that no one else can take care of me the way you can. You’re my therapist ....you’ve seen me at my worst, you know things about me that no one else does." He wiped his eyes weakly, his voice cracking with emotion. "I don’t trust anyone else. I’ve grown to trust you during the time we’ve spent together. Only you can take care of me."
Alex’s lips parted to speak, but Gabe’s next words came first.
"Please, Alex. I don’t mind paying you more," Gabe continued, desperation clear in his tone. "Even though Sabe never built any house in my name or let me build one for myself ....he only gave me an allowance that he always monitored....I still managed to steal and save some money." His eyes softened with shame and quiet pride. "I wasn’t trying to be sneaky; I just... needed something of my own. But I never bought an apartment because I can’t take care of myself. So please..." His voice trembled again as he clasped his hands together tightly. "Just help me. You’d only have to assist me with my bath and my meals." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
The word bath hit Alex like a thunderbolt.
Bath?! his mind screamed instantly. That’s exactly why I don’t want to be his caretaker! He tried to keep a straight face, but internally he was spiraling. How the hell am I supposed to control myself when he’s naked right in front of me?
He clenched his jaw slightly, staring at Gabe with silent disbelief. He’s definitely doing this on purpose. He enjoys teasing me, I can feel it and then he’ll just drift back to pretending innocent.
"It’s fine," Alex finally said aloud after a long moment, letting out a heavy sigh as he rubbed his forehead. "I’ll help you... for the time being. At least until you get settled here."
But inwardly, his thoughts weren’t as composed. I might just start teasing you back though, sweetheart, he mused silently, a crooked smirk threatening to form. Let’s see how long you last when the tables turn.
Still, he sighed again and straightened his back. But first... there’s something I need to take care of. If you’re really having fun trying to get under my skin, then I might as well make every fantasy in that head of yours real but before that, we’ll have to deal with one little problem: your husband.
Gabe’s head snapped up, surprise flickering across his face. "Are you for real, Alex? You’ve actually agreed to take care of my needs here?" he asked, disbelief and a hint of excitement coloring his tone.
Alex gave him a small, resigned smile. "Yes, I am. I’ve agreed."
You couldn’t resist my temptation after all, Gabe thought inwardly with a small, satisfied grin forming at the corner of his lips. You definitely want to keep seeing me naked.
Without saying another word, Alex leaned forward, sliding one arm beneath Gabe’s knees and the other around his back. Before Gabe could react, Alex lifted him from the wheelchair in a smooth, practiced motion , cradling him effortlessly in a bridal carry.
"W...what are you doing?" Gabe stammered, his face flushing a deep pink as he instinctively wrapped his arms around Alex’s neck.
"Taking you to your room, of course," Alex replied casually, though his heart was thudding faster than he cared to admit. "Since I’m now not only your therapist but also your caretaker, I have to make sure you get there safely." He smirked faintly. "I wonder what Damien’s even doing. He should’ve finished unpacking by now."
And without waiting for a response, Alex began ascending the stairs. His steps were steady, confident ....though inside, his mind was a whirl of thoughts he dared not voice. Gabe, on the other hand, remained quiet, his head resting gently against Alex’s chest. The steady rhythm of Alex’s heartbeat beneath his ear was oddly soothing, and a faint smile curved on his lips.
They reached the top of the staircase and stopped in front of a large wooden door. Alex adjusted his grip slightly, then lifted his leg and nudged the door open .... except this time, he used more force than intended.
BAM!
The door slammed open and hit something solid. A startled yelp followed, and the next second, Damien was on the floor, clutching his nose in pain.
"Wh....what the hell?!" Damien groaned, his voice muffled as he held his face.
Alex froze for a second, then looked down with feigned confusion. "What in the world were you doing standing behind the door?" he asked, raising an eyebrow in mock disbelief.
He knew Damien had been watching him and Gabe right from the living room. The man had only darted back into the room when he saw Alex carrying Gabe upstairs, but Alex had already noticed and he was more than ready to teach Damien a lesson for spying. And so, he did.
"Are you trying to crash my face?!" Damien exclaimed in pain and despair. "Don’t you know how to open a door gently? Must you always slam it like you’re starting a war?!"
"Sorry," Alex replied, his tone flat and devoid of remorse. "But I don’t do things slowly."
With that, he stepped into the room, still carrying Gabe who had a shocked expression on his face. He then placed him gently on the king-sized bed.
Then, lowering his tall frame, he leaned close....so close that his breath mingled with Gabe’s, their faces separated by only inches. His gaze was sharp, locked solely on Gabe’s trembling lips.
"I do everything fast," he murmured, his voice low and deliberate. "Faster than a Fast and Furious movie."
Though his words seemed to be directed at Damien, the heavy undertone and the warmth in his voice were meant entirely for Gabe.
Oh yeah. Gabe thought to himself, swallowing hard as heat flooded his cheeks. I love it fast too. I just hope we’re both talking about the same kind of ’Fast and Furious’... the one done on the bed.
"You’re insane!!!" Damien shouted, clutching his face and glaring at Alex. He pushed himself to his feet, still rubbing his sore cheek where the door had hit him. "Anyway, you can leave now! I’ll start taking care of Mr. Gabe from here."
"There’s been a change of plans," Alex said coolly, straightening his back as his expression hardened. He finally turned from Gabe and walked toward Damien, every step measured and deliberate.
"A change of plans?" Damien raised a brow, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "Don’t tell me you’re planning to send Gabe away from your house tomorrow."
"No," Alex answered, his tone calm but firm. "I’m saying that instead of you taking care of him, I’ll be the one doing everything myself."
Damien froze, his jaw dropping slightly. The words sent waves of disbelief rushing down his spine.
"What? Wait....did I just hear that correctly?" he asked, scratching his ear as if that might help him process it. "You’re saying you want to take care of Mr. Gabe yourself?"
"Yeah," Alex replied simply. "You heard me right."
Damien blinked rapidly, trying to keep up with the sudden shift in Alex’s attitude. "Oh my goodness... You’re unbelievable," he said with a nervous chuckle. "Aren’t you the same man I practically begged to look after this pretty omega? I remember how you refused, saying you didn’t want anything to do with him. I eventually gave up and agreed to be his caretaker myself, and now you’re telling me you want to do it? This is good news though!" His lips curled into a teasing smile. "Looks like you’ve finally come back to your senses."
"Don’t get too excited," Alex replied, his expression returning to its usual seriousness. "I have another important task for you. Something only you can handle."
Damien perked up immediately, his hands resting on his waist as he grinned. "And what would that be? I’m ready to do anything for you, boss. Especially since you’ve made me so happy about the whole caretaker issue."
"I need you to carry Sabe," Alex said at last, his tone suddenly dark and laced with restrained anger.
Damien’s smile faltered. He blinked twice, processing the command. "Carry... Sabe?" he repeated under his breath. He stepped closer to Alex, lowering his voice to a near whisper, as if they have not been extremely quiet before "Do you mean....kidnap him?"
