Chapter 842: A Rare Sight

Chapter 842

"And that is to scare me?" Orion demanded with his brows furrowed deeply.

Within the blink of an eye, more than a thousand ki swords appeared behind his back.

Without a gesture, the swords were sent flying to intercept Grey’s wind swords and it resulted in a deafening clash.

The ground ruptured for metres on end. The air shuddered under the weight of the collision between two titans.

A shockwave that covered the whole coliseum was blasted out that even those who were unconscious from their own gruesome battle were immediately jolted awake by the suffocating pressure in the arena.

"Fuck... my head!" Rivock shouted as his eyes snapped open in a second.

All around him, the others too were stirring awake with grumbles.

"... Can someone not just sleep in peace around here?" Gunther moaned in tremendous pain as his eyes flared open.

Though most of them were awake, unfortunately, they couldn’t even move their bodies at all.

All they could do was lightly move their heads to watch the clash that had already begun.

Even Fenrir was blasted awake as he gasped loudly.

Blood dribbled down his lips as he looked directly at the cloud of dust that had been kicked up from the two clash.

’Grey has joined in?’ He wondered inwardly as he could sense the power of a mage in the area.

Not just any mage but a crazily powerful one.

He wasn’t the only one thinking the same thing as every single person that were jolted awake all echoed the same thought.

’Grey had joined and it seemed like he came in with a big bang.’

Leo lightly pushed his upper body to sit on the bare ground so as to give him a good visibility.

Staring down at his body, a solemn looked appeared on his face at his missing hand.

’Sigh... it is worth it, I guess. I hope Grey will make this sacrifice count otherwise, it will all be for naught.’

Noelle though she opened her eyelids, one side was dark like a perpetual darkness causing her to lift her hand towards that spot.

That was when the realisation struck her. She hadn’t noticed it earlier before she lost consciousness but her eye was gone and only a dark void remained where one of her eyes used to be.

Before she could wallow in her loss, another shockwave raged in the coliseum blasting everybody’s hair around and bringing their focus back to the fight.

Grey could be seen flying backwards landing two metres away from the cloud of dust.

His gaze calm and cool as Orion could be seen bolting out of the dust like a raging bull.

Within a second, he was before Grey with ki flooding his hands for a earth breaking punch.

The Supreme Magus didn’t even make any attempt at blocking as Thalos appeared between the duo.

He was unable to recall his sword in time so he was forced to block with his thick forearms.

The punch landed with a crushing weight that the earth quaked loudly.

Out of the earth, four pillars burst out with full speed hoping to catch Orion off guard.

But leaping backwards, Ki flooded the man’s legs as he proceeded to swing it in a perfect roundhouse kick shattering the pillars in one fell swoop.

A rustle behind him.

Orion quickly leaped to the side in time as Thalos’ recalled sword flew past him with tremendous speed.

A shadow was suddenly cast above him causing the man to leap to the side again as a huge fireball from Noir crashed into the spot where he was with tremendous burning force.

The ground instantly melted as if an acid was thrown on it.

Crackle—! ZIP—!

Grey crossed the distance between them in a flash and from his hands, two lightning balls the size of a boulder burst out with crackling lethal intent.

Orion didn’t even attempt dodging. He knew how crazily fast the lightning element was.

Hence he lifted his hands into the air then swung them back down unleashing a powerful wave of visual ki which collided with the balls pushing them into the ground and causing them to detonate in the earth.

Debris billowed into the air from that single move as a sudden tremor as if an earthquake was about to occur snaked through the ground.

Leaping away in time, Orion evaded a dozen earth spikes that suddenly shot out from the ground from hitting him.

His brows furrowed.

’Damn it! This is why multi-elementalist are always feared across the world. They are so powerful and one won’t even know the element they plan on using next. Grey is even a more crazy anomaly.’

Pluck who was now back in the west booth frowned at the sight happening at the moment.

’Now I understand how he was able to cleanly massacre hundreds of men we sent to get him. And now I know why Oscroch also ran away from that place despite being one of the three vice leaders. This kid... his powers are crazy.’

In the North booth, even those seated had surprised looks on their faces.

"Now I know why he teleported the spectators from here. He is actually going toe to toe with Orion?" Beatrix exclaimed with a face of shock.

Elder Ron shook his head as a frown crawled onto his face.

’No. They aren’t equals. One is definitely more stronger than the other.’

Grey frowned immensely as he quickly leapt back just in time as a hundred ki swords rushed at him with blistering speed.

’I’m still unable to overpower him. In order to avoid and dodge everything I throw at him along with Thalos and Noir, it proves how powerful Orion actually is. Guess his title as the man closest to godhood is not a fake.’

For the ki swords, Noir and Thalos descended themselves to deal with them and it didn’t take more than a few seconds to handle.

But those few seconds were still enough of a distraction for Orion to cross the distance catching Grey unaware as a blazing fist of Ki was now speeding towards the Supreme Magus.

Before the mage could call on some form of protection, the punch actually landed on his face with the force of ten bullet trains.

The ground ruptured beneath their feet as Grey’s body shot backward through the air destroying the sound barrier with it.

Red mist trailed after him in waves.

All his allies’ eyes widened in horror at this rare sight of the mage being flung away.
