Chapter 341: The Gorrila Boss Is Dead!

Chapter 341

"Peek-a-boo!" Amir smirked, his voice a rumbling promise of pain as he swung his hammer upward from below. The heavy weapon slammed into the gorilla’s jaw with a bone-shattering crack, launching the massive beast off its feet and hurling it across the arena like a broken puppet.

It crashed into a wall with a deafening boom, crumbling stone and dust erupting around it.

"That’s handy," Amir muttered, glancing at the gleaming surface of his hammer. He twirled it effortlessly, the weight nothing in his seasoned grip. But his expression tightened when he heard staggered footsteps approaching.

Turning sharply, he saw Raze limping toward him. The young mage was bloodied, his metal shield scratched and dented, a long sword forged from conjured steel clutched in his other hand. Blood trickled from the side of his lips, but determination burned in his eyes.

"You alright?" Amir asked, quickly assessing him with a captain’s trained eye.

"Yes, Cap. I can still fight," Raze said, teeth gritted as he tightened his grip on the hilt. His gaze never left the gorilla, now rising again with an enraged growl.

"Good," Amir said, stepping forward. "Because this is about to get rough."

The gorilla let out a thunderous roar as it bolted toward them again, its ten massive arms pumping like pistons, cracking the ground beneath its steps.

"Ready when you are," Raze muttered, eyes briefly flicking skyward. A hundred razor-sharp metal swords materialized above them, glinting under the broken light—suspended mid-air like divine judgment, poised to rain hell.

"Go!" Amir shouted, launching himself forward. Metallic platforms formed beneath his feet, boosting him faster and faster until he blurred like a streak of silver lightning.

The gorilla sprinted headlong to meet him, and at that moment, Raze snapped his fingers.

The sky screamed.

A storm of swords fell like meteors, each glowing with raw mana. The beast stopped abruptly, its sharp instincts kicking in.

With all ten arms, it pounded the earth in a cataclysmic strike, ripping a chunk of terrain free. In one fluid, monstrous motion, it hurled the slab skyward, intercepting half the blades in a devastating clash of metal and stone.

The remaining swords rained down mercilessly. But the gorilla was already on the move—zigzagging through the chaos in rapid, jarring bursts. The swords hit only empty space, exploding into the ground and tearing deep cavities into the battlefield.

"Gotcha," Amir growled.

He appeared beside the beast like a ghost, swinging his hammer with brutal precision. The gorilla spun, using four arms to brace against the blow.

BANG!

The hammer connected.

CRACK!

Bone fractured under the pressure, and the gorilla was driven back, its arms buckling under the strike. But Amir wasn’t done.

"Now!"

Raze fell to his knees, slamming his hands onto the ground. "This is gonna cost me everything... but screw it! Metal Creation Magic: Golem of Destruction!"

The earth rumbled, split, and exploded as a colossal figure emerged—ten feet of gleaming steel, its form carved with runic engravings, its right arm gripping a warhammer that glowed with raw power.

BOOOOM!

The golem burst into motion, its movements deceptively fast for its size. It closed the gap in a blink and raised its hammer high.

BAAAM!

The weapon swung down, obliterating air and sound alike. The gorilla, mid-brawl with Amir, had no time to react.

The hammer smashed into its side with a cataclysmic impact, sending it soaring like a cannonball. Blood burst from its mouth as it tumbled across the battlefield, crashing and rolling with earth-shattering force.

"Kuk—!" Raze coughed violently, spewing blood as his vision wavered. He could feel his mana draining rapidly, his limbs trembling from the strain.

"Captain... I won’t last much longer. If we don’t end this now, I’ll be out."

"Don’t you think I know that?!" Amir snapped, his body trembling as energy surged through him. His hair began to float as if caught in an unseen storm, his eyes glowing pure white.

Then he turned—just as the gorilla stood again, bloodied but not broken, and let out a monstrous bellow.

"Breakthrough," Amir whispered.

In that instant, an aura of raw power exploded from his body, crashing against the gorilla like a tidal wave. The sheer pressure sent the beast skidding backward, its footing faltering as the ground beneath it fractured.

The force was so overwhelming that even Raze’s golem—constructed from sheer will and magic—began to shudder and finally crumble, unable to withstand the unleashed energy of a breaking mage.

"Hey! You just destroyed my creation!" Raze snapped, his voice tinged with frustration as he staggered slightly.

The glow around his sword and shield flickered, both weapons trembling in his hands, threatening to dissipate from the lack of mana.

"Just shut up and fight!" Amir bellowed, his tone thunderous as he burst forward. His hammer spun around his wrist like a cyclone, crackling with metallic energy.

The gorilla, unrelenting, roared and hurled all ten of its fists at Amir. But the captain wasn’t fazed.

He swung his hammer with explosive force, and the two titanic attacks collided in mid-air with a deafening bang! Shockwaves surged outward in wild, chaotic pulses, ripping cracks into the ground. Chunks of rock erupted upward as the battlefield quaked beneath them.

Locked in that clash, both sides pushed with all their might—Amir gritting his teeth, his breakthrough-infused hammer holding firm without even a scratch.

"You all made one mistake... showing up here." Amir smirked.

Suddenly, behind the gorilla, a barrage of five hundred gleaming metal spears materialized—hovering like death itself.

Whisssssh!

Amir leapt back just in time.

BAM!

The spears rained down, impaling the stunned gorilla in a storm of steel. The shockwave from the impact blasted outward with raw intensity, kicking up dust and dirt in a swirling maelstrom. When it finally cleared, the beast stood amidst the wreckage—barely.

Six of its arms had been sliced off cleanly. Viscous black blood poured from its wounds, splattering the cracked ground as the beast let out a guttural growl, trembling with rage.

Raze, standing several meters away, could only stare—his jaw slack in awe.

’Even with me copying his magic, I couldn’t produce that volume of spears... Not like this. That was... insane!’

ROARRR!

The gorilla charged with wild fury.

"Raze! Toss that shield—NOW!" Amir barked, ducking under a crushing swing that nearly tore the wind from his lungs.

"Huh? Toss it?" Raze blinked, momentarily confused. "Why not just make another one?"

"Just do it! And pour all your mana into it!" Amir roared again, his eyes snapping toward Raze—then widened as he saw the beast’s palm inches from his face.

Whack!

The blow landed squarely. Amir spat blood and a tooth as his body flew backward like a cannonball. He crashed hard into the ground, only halting his momentum by smashing his hammer into the floor and skidding to a stop.

"Alright, alright!" Raze muttered, gathering the last remnants of his mana. "This better work."

He hurled the shield with all his strength. As it left his grip, a surge of energy pulsed through it—causing it to spin wildly like a saw blade through the air.

The pressure from its rotation summoned a miniature tornado around its edge, slicing the wind apart with a whistling howl.

The beast didn’t even register the shield—its bloodshot eyes locked on Amir as it barreled toward him.

"Let’s end this!" Amir grinned, planting his foot firmly as he twisted his body. With a grunt of effort, he hurled his hammer with a devastating throw, a shockwave trailing behind it like a missile.

The gorilla saw it and pivoted. Too easy, it must have thought as it dodged to the side, letting the hammer soar harmlessly past.

But then—

CLANG!

The hammer smashed into the airborne shield with pinpoint accuracy. A deafening clang! erupted as the two metal weapons collided, creating a soundwave so intense that it knocked the beast off balance. The gorilla clutched its ears as the ringing pierced its skull, stumbling forward in a daze.

"Perfect timing." Amir smirked.

With a burst of speed, he shot forward—using a metal platform to launch himself like a rocket. A shining metal sword materialized in his grip, glowing with brilliance. His body spun in mid-air, fluid and graceful like a war dancer.

The beast looked up—too late.

"Goodnight." Amir whispered.

The sword, blindingly radiant, came down like divine judgment. It cleaved through the beast’s skull cleanly, slicing its head in two and continuing into the ground—tearing a deep gash into the earth below.

Silence followed.

The mighty gorilla boss collapsed, lifeless.

Raze, nearby, crumpled to the floor—completely drained of mana. His chest rose and fell rapidly as he panted, watching the dust settle.

Amir stood tall, chest heaving, face smeared with blood and dirt. He exhaled slowly and canceled his breakthrough, the surging power around him dissipating into calm.

’That was a little bit hard. I could have dealt with the beast alone, but it would have proven quite hard but thanks to Raze, it was possible at a much faster time.’ Amir thought as his gaze fell on the exhausted Raze who stared at the other battles weakly.

’I really did make a good choice by picking him to join my squad. The others saw him as raw coal, but I saw a diamond deep beneath and I’m glad I made the right choice.’
