The great serpent's flame sword hovered in the air, its head turning toward the direction of the sound. Behind the lines of the snake-man army, a large army appeared out of nowhere. These people were mostly cavalry, but most of their mounts were strong six-legged white bears; the flags unfurling in the wind clearly bore the symbol of the Sun God. However, this was not the snake-man's army, but rather the army of the Macken knights and the "Savior's" army.

Because they were active in the territories behind the great serpent, not everyone was aware of the existence of this army. However, among the snake-men, there were many rumors about this army. Some compared them to a pack of hungry wolves, while others likened them to cunning winter bears. Nonetheless, the snake-men indeed put considerable effort into trying to eliminate this force—its threat was too great.

However, the Macken knights—or rather, Light God Pate—would not let their plans succeed. He used his Divine Power to conceal this army. After years of nurturing strength, now was finally the time for the tiger to descend the mountain.

When the horn blew for the third time, the cavalry immediately launched their charge. The six fleshy paws of the giant bears tread on the ground with little sound, yet a vibration seemed to pass through. Not to mention the knights' sharp lances and curved blades, even the claws and fangs of the mounts were enough to instill fear in the snake-men.

This silent tide instantly swept into the snake-man army, crushing and smashing everything in its path. The defense at the rear of the snake-men was very weak because all attention of the great serpent was focused on the Five Realms Fortress, focused on Lynch's castle, not noticing the breach behind him.

Macken led a cavalry squad, charging straight for the left flank of the snake-man army. They crossed the trenches, driving the fleeing enemies in all directions, throwing torches onto their thickly packed tents. The blazing flames sent thick smoke into the sky, merging with the fiery red clouds—yet even so, the sun's rays grew stronger, slowly dispersing those clouds.

A half-elf rider led the central army, rushing with lightning speed to crush the enemies in front of the Five Realms Fortress square. They split the snake-man's army, using their blades to reap the lives of the enemy. Those giant siege towers and strange catapults were also chopped into pieces.

These people did not need to shout charge slogans because the sound of swords and blades clashing was their battle cry! Few snake-men could resist under such an attack. Even if they tried to organize a defensive line, it would quickly be destroyed by the flood of cavalry.

Another team bypassed the snake-man army and charged directly towards the Five Realms Fortress. They did not engage in prolonged battles, continuously accelerating. The huge mounts leaped over the trenches built by snake-men, crushing those unable to dodge into pulp. Besides the banner of the Sun God, another large flag caught everyone's attention.

All the soldiers of the Five Realms Fortress knew that banner, seeing it every day, it had long become a reliance and pride in their hearts—that was Wislin's banner, only used when he personally led troops.

"General Wislin is back!" This voice spread like the wind throughout the entire fortress.

"Fight! Fight back to the Five Realms Fortress!" Wislin's voice rang out clear and loud from the unit. He wielded his sword, and the silver-white cavalry armor shone brightly on the blood-red battlefield. The banner behind him fluttered in the wind, making a clattering sound in the raging wind, which was the drumbeat of his advance.

The guards inside the city also saw hope, bursting out with extraordinary strength. Even the snake lizard's massive power found it difficult to advance a single step. The civilians, who were initially fleeing from calamity, stopped their footsteps and rushed back. Although they were not skilled warriors and lacked sophisticated weapons, they still fought with fire, stone, and their determined hearts.

The great serpent glanced at Lynch and then raised the flame blade high again. But behind him came the painful howls of the snake-men, and the high-pitched cries of the human cavalry made him even more anxious. In the end, he turned around and disappeared into the All-Knowing Tower.

Everyone present, except for Lynch, let out a long breath of relief.

"Charge!" Wislin had already crossed the ruins of the city walls, joining forces with the garrison. Both sides supported each other, with cavalry and infantry covering one another, pushing the snake-men back step by step.
