"Who are you?" Lynch looked at the serpent and asked, "You seem to have quite some strength. Such a big door was smashed open with a bang." ๐“ฏ๐“ป๐“ฎ๐™š๐™ฌ๐“ฎ๐™—๐’๐™ค๐’—๐™š๐™ก.๐’„๐’๐“ถ

"Is this a joke, or a form of mockery?" the serpent responded, "Or perhaps a part of some scheme?"

Lynch did not answer this question but instead smiled at the serpent. He had sealed away the memories of spells with his most powerful magic energy, so he felt no pressure from the imposing aura emanating from the serpent. However, the others present were not so "lucky": Zilvra felt weak all over, and even her breathing became difficult; the little angel's legs were trembling, yet she stubbornly stood in front of Lynch, biting her lip; Yilinrui, having already exhausted her physical strength, sat directly on the ground, unable to resist any longer.

The serpent's eyes narrowed into slits, making it harder to gauge Lynch's depths, and the more he couldn't fathom him, the more worried he became. The greatest horror in the world is scaring oneself, and that was exactly what the serpent was doing.

"Don't try to deceive me!" The serpent suddenly roared, and a white light burst in front of him. It had no heat, wasn't dazzling, but carried a shocking impact. The entire Magic Laboratory was overturned, its roof thrown off the All-Knowing Tower, and the surrounding walls collapsed like a row of dominos. The four people in the room were tossed into the air like abandoned, broken toy dolls, shrouded in green smoke.

If it were ordinary people, they would have already been pulverized by the impact. However, the black dragon withdrew in time from its battle with the gargoyle to protect the three ladies. It didn't bother with Lynch, as it believed the mage required no assistance.

It was the power of the Magic God concentrated within the mage that saved him, preventing any substantial harm. Lynch stood up with his longsword, brushed off dust and gravel from his body, then carefully checked if the apple was intact.

"You are doomed now!" The mage pointed at the serpent and said angrily, "Compared to the Magic God, you are far inferior!"

The serpent was stunned for a moment, then immediately revealed a gratified smile. His entire body twisted violently, his features gradually blurred, and his form grew larger. In a thunderous voice, the serpent said, "You are not Lynch, you are merely his shell! That mage wouldn't use words to threaten others, nor would he easily reveal his emotions! You have eventually been depleted, leaving only what is left now."

The serpent revealed its true form, like a massive eight-headed flame snake lizard. Its thick necks twisted in the air, sixteen yellow eyes staring at Lynch standing on the ruins. Its claws scraped the ground, leaving deep grooves with its hard nails. The entire All-Knowing Tower trembled slightly, unable to withstand. Each head spewed flames of different colors, surrounding them like a crown fit for a king in mid-air.

The snake-man army cheered loudly, rejoicing for their master. The snake lizards reinforcing the army were indescribably excited. They ravaged the city ruins, crossing the Five Realms Fortress, tearing at the remaining soldiers standing their ground and pursuing the retreating civilians through the fires of battle.

"This will be my moment! The moment to taste victory!" All eight heads of the serpent pointed at the mage, letting out a low and sinister laugh: "No power can stop my steps any longer! To hell with you, Lynch!"

As he finished speaking, the eight-colored flames he breathed out converged into a sharp flame sword, swiftly descending from the air.

Zilvra, buried under the ruins and unable to move, closed her eyes in despair amidst a hoarse scream.

Whether ignorance is truly fearless, or perhaps some spirit of Lynch's original memory still supported him, the mage did not retreat. He was unmoved by the serpent's words. He raised the purple longsword in his handโ€”its blood from the deceased Magic God gleamed under the flames.

A beam of sunlight pierced through the thick clouds, suddenly illuminating the ruins of the Magic Laboratory on the All-Knowing Tower, enveloping both the serpent and Lynch. The snake-man's hysterical cries and the wailing of the fleeing populace fell into silence. It was as if the dawn filled with hope had pierced through the eternal night, and on the northern lands of the Pate Plain, the sound of a horn echoed.
