Xavier dashed from above, Dragonborn was already committed to attacking him so he couldn't move out of the way and in an instant Xavier was in front of him and his sword was just inches away from Dragonborn's neck, but Xavier realized something, his plan had failed.

*BOOM!!!!!*

Before Xavier's sword could reach Dragonborn's neck Tiger was already at his side with a fist swung toward him.

Instead of taking off Dragonborn's head and risking his life Xavier drew his sword back and Tiger's fist slammed into his sword creating a loud boom and sending Xavier away from both of them.

Xavier hit the ground hard, sliding across the dirt. His arms trembled from the impact, but he forced himself to his feet, his grip tightening around his sword.

'Shit, my hands are shaking, he's too powerful'

Tiger cracked his knuckles, a wide grin on his face as he walked towards Xavier, while Dragonborn had his eyes on Sylve who still haven't launched a single attack.

"You're tougher than you look," Tiger said, his voice like a growl.

Xavier didn't bother replying. He kicked off the ground, closing the distance between them in an instant.

Tiger swung again, his gauntlets glowing faintly with a deep red.

Xavier ducked under the blow, feeling the wind rush over his head, and slashed upward at Tiger's side.

*Clang!*

The blade hit the gauntlet as Tiger twisted to block, sparks flying from the clash. Tiger countered with a knee aimed at Xavier's ribs, but Xavier caught it with his free hand, gritting his teeth as the force pushed him backwards.

Xavier didn't bother casting a spell as he went head to head with Tiger.

Meanwhile, Sylve and Dragonborn were already blasting each other with spells.

Sylve dodged a blast of fire from Dragonborn's staff, rolling to the side and slamming her staff into the ground.

Vines burst from the earth, wrapping toward Dragonborn's legs, but Dragonborn sneered, spinning his staff and slicing through the vines with a blade of wind.

Apart from lightning, Dragonborn also had wind and flame, which Sylve could counter with her earth.

Sylve clicked her tongue as vines weren't going to work. She shifted to light magic next, a blinding flash at Dragonborn's face.

For a second, he flinched before creating a barrier in front of himself— and that was all she needed.

Sylve charged forward fearlessly, her staff glowing with Mana, both Dragonborn and Sylve had the same type of magical staff with similar power, spell amplification.

She slammed it down, sending a wave of stone spikes rising up toward Dragonborn.

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

Dragonborn snarled, raising a barrier to block the spikes, but cracks formed along the shield. Sylve pressed harder, pouring more mana into the attack.

Stones floated in front of her and soon she refined them into spikes and shot them towards Dragonborn hoping to break though his barrier but inside Dragonborn brought the barrier down himself as he stretched his staff forward.

"Lightning Net"

In front of him a net of lightning weaved in front of him and all the stone spikes disintegrated as they touched the net.

Back on the other side, Xavier was struggling to contain Tiger.

Tiger was faster than he looked. His punches were heavy, each swing sending shockwaves through the air.

Tiger's next punch came so fast it blurred. Xavier threw himself to the side, feeling the shockwave graze his cheek as the ground behind him exploded from the force.

'He's stronger and I'm just a little faster than him... but I can't back down'

Xavier planted his feet and rushed back in,Tiger met him head-on and their clash was brutal.

*Clang! Clang! Clang!*

Tiger's fists and Xavier's steel collided again and again, each impact shaking Xavier's bones since he was blocking Tiger's attack.

Tiger threw a left hook. Xavier ducked and Tiger followed up with a knee to the chest.

Xavier barely twisted in time, feeling the wind knocked out of him as the blow grazed him.

Xavier gritted his teeth, swinging his sword low at Tiger's ankles but Tiger jumped, flipping forward and trying to stomp Xavier into the dirt.

Xavier rolled to the side, sand and dust flying everywhere.

Tiger landed and instantly lunged, throwing a barrage of punches like a machine gun but Xavier was blocking all of his attacks.

Left. Right. Left. Left.

Xavier blocked with his sword, each hit sending vibrations up his arms. His hands were numb, and his shoulder screamed from the force from each of Tiger's blow but he knew what he was doing.

"You're slowing down," Tiger said with a grin, not even breathing hard.

Xavier said nothing as he jumped backwards creating a little space.

'Come on... show me an opening'

Tiger rushed in again, another wide swing aimed at Xavier's head and he saw the opening he wanted.

This time, Xavier stepped forward instead of back, moving inside the swing.

Without a wasted moment Xavier drove his shoulder into Tiger's chest, knocking him off balance for the first time.

Before Tiger could recover, Xavier slashed at his side immediately.

*Slice!*

The blade nicked Tiger's ribs, drawing a shallow line of blood but before Xavier could strike again Tiger got his opening.

Tiger growled and retaliated with a brutal headbutt.

*Crack!*

Xavier saw stars for a second. His vision blurred, but he forced himself to stay upright. He stumbled back, wiping blood from his forehead.

Tiger also held the side of his stomach as the sword did more than just nick him.

Xavier's head was already healing and finally he had drawn blood from Tiger, his sword had already gone though the transformation but unlike a beast he couldn't draw a lot of blood from Tiger.

'Sylve is still fighting, finally I've seen everything I want to' Xavier muttered with a smile on his face.

"Smiling I see...looks like you still have a lot more to offer" Tiger spoke.

"I'm going to kill you now, it was nice knowing you" Xavier spoke as he took a deep breath.
