Using his [Arcane Siphon], he didn't have to hold a crystal or a source of Mana to absorb Mana, he could absorb Mana through the air, but the problem is he had no idea if this was temporary or permanent.

But not matter which it was, as long as it could help him survive this battle, he would gladly accept it, and now the problem was the actual fight.

Since Tiger was a close combat fighter, he would have to face tiger, but that would leave Sylve to face Dragonborn, and in terms of magical prowess Dragonborn would consume Sylve.

"I don't think I have a choice, Tiger would come for you since both of you are close combat fighters, and even if I want to face him I wouldn't win, I have no idea what powers his gauntlets hold, one hit could end my life" Sylve spoke and Xavier took a deep breath.

"You had the same thought right, now the problem is I'm sure I can't take Dragonborn alone and win, if both of us face him we could win" Sylve said.

"So you want me to kill Tiger and then assist you with Dragonborn, you know that's exactly the same thing in their mind, Dragonborn would be looking to kill you first" Xavier spoke.

"I know, but I'll survive and the worst that can happen is both of us dies, and when that happens I want you to know it was my decision"

"What are you talking about...wait, don't tell me you want to use the forbidden spell you told me about" Xavier spoke.

"It's only as a last resort, that way you won't have to deal with both of them, also I have something to say, I like you, even though you're not an elf, I would have loved..."

Dragonborn and Tiger stood up and began to stretch their bodies, Xavier and Sylve did the same.

Dragonborn brought out his staff and so did Sylve, Tiger wore his gauntlets and Xavier brought out his Bloodreaver sword.

"Alright, when the battle starts don't attack, I'm going to expend all my Mana at once, I'll make a clone of the seven headed Hydra and the dragon" Xavier spoke.

"I'm sure they wouldn't last but I want to see their reaction, after that we strike, don't start with your light spells, go with earth and try to use your earth and light spells to catch him off guard, I'm sure he'll block it but it's something"

"Can you come closer" Sylve said and Xavier did that.

Sylve reached forward and kissed his cheeks, after that she took a deep breath and faced forward.

"Mortals killing each other, nothing better to watch" the god of death muttered with a smile on his face and the next moment he felt a familiar presence.

"What brings you here?" He spoke.

"I came here to watch"

"You seem to have a special place for your champion Veloura, he's your first champion after all" He spoke.

"Special place...Maybe, but he's the same as all the rest, mortal...if he does dies, I'll simply pick a new champion"

"The battle starts in 3...2...1, start" The voice of the god echoed and once they heard start Sylve was already behind Xavier and he placed his hands on the ground.

Xavier had fought both the Hydra and the dragon so he had a good idea about their strength, but he was going to create them out of ice, after the first attack they were going to be giant target and easy to take out.

Xavier had already calculated all of that, his plan was simple but if it worked in his favor he was going to take out one of them at the start of the battle.

Two mirror formed in front of Xavier facing towards his opponent and the next moment a Hydra and a Dragon appeared in front of them.

For a second it caught both Dragonborn and Tiger off guard but immediately Dragonborn stretched his staff and created a barrier in front of both of them as both the dragon and the Hydra attacked.

Xavier immediately took to the air with his [Wind Stride] while both the dragon and Hydra were still attacking, but one thing he didn't take into consideration was both of their attacks were cancelling each other and couldn't break through Dragonborn's barrier.

"Cheap tricks" Dragonborn raised his staff up and two bolt of lightning shot the dragon and Hydra from above shattering them in pieces and he brought down his barrier but that was the moment Xavier was waiting for.

Xavier was like a blur coming from above but Dragonborn wasn't a fool as he stretched his staff towards Xavier but before he could fire off a spell it stopped.

Xavier dashed from above, Dragonborn was already committed to attacking him so he couldn't move out of the way and in an instant Xavier was in front of him and his sword was just inches away from Dragonborn's neck, but Xavier realized something, his plan had failed.
