Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 651: Irene Asking About Academy
Without knowing whether stories were true or not, the boy said that Grandmother Bertha had eaten her own family. That was why she had no family other than the servants and maids at her manor.
Until at night, William said that he heard strange voices at his bedroom door. Not only William, Lazarus also said that he experienced the same thing. A frightened William and Lazarus tried to find a new room to stay in together. They also tried to find a servant or maid, but the area was very empty and dark.
Because of fear, they dropped the flower vase until it broke. Because of fear, they ran fast and hid in a room full of red and black. When they turned around, they both found many torture tools. They even saw a man lying unconscious near the couch in the room.
William and Lazarus screamed loudly, and they fainted. When they were found, William and Lazarus had a high fever. Then, their parents apologized, and they returned immediately without taking part in the party held by Grandmother Bertha.
"So Ronan, Lazarus and I are worried that Grandmother Bertha still has a grudge against us for revealing her secret room, which is actually a torture room. We both ask you permission not to go with you. We still have trauma, Ronan. Please respect our choice," William asked with a serious face.
Ronan took a deep breath. He tapped the table in front of him with his index finger. William was his best negotiator. He hoped the man would come with him to discuss this. Given how secretive Grandmother Bertha was, Ronan wasn’t sure he could get any information out of her on his own.
William’s choice of words was far more sweet than usual, yet it was venomous.
However, he also couldn’t force William and Lazarus. As someone who had also experienced a series of incidents which left him in deep trauma, Ronan couldn’t take someone’s trauma lightly. He knew the feeling of anxiety and uneasiness every time he thought about his past.
Ronan was more collected now because Arielle was by his side, but the memories from the past couldn’t be completely erased. Even the wounds on his face couldn’t be healed completely by the elixir of immortality. It still left scars.
Torture Room? He knew that his great-grandfather’s younger brother was a strict person. He just didn’t think that his grandmother had a psychopathic hobby too. He couldn’t imagine little William and Lazarus going through it all.
"Okay, I understand. Then, I’ll pay a visit with Kael. Lazarus and William, you two wait at the nearest inn. "
"Do you plan to stay? How many days?"
"I don’t know. It all depends on Grandmother Bertha. If she cooperates, then everything can be done quickly. But, I hope we don’t have to stay overnight," said Ronan.
"And back on topic. I’d like to say a few more things about the upcoming trip."
William returned to his seat to hear what Ronan had to say.

Arielle frowned. Her body felt really tired and heavier. She even yawned a lot. She didn’t forget to cover her mouth too. Her eyes hadn’t fully opened yet, but she could hear two familiar voices talking about school.
As Arielle remembered, she fell asleep in Ronan’s study? But, why did she seem to hear Aimee’s and Irene’s voices? She forced herself to open her eyes then saw Aimee and Irene who were looking at her.
"Hello," Arielle greeted them.
She looked around and found herself still in Ronan’s study. Something fell off her shoulders, and she saw Ronan’s coat that was previously slung over her shoulder was on the floor. Arielle glanced at the clock on the wall. She had been asleep for over two hours. It meant Priest Elis as well as Priest Louise had finished talking to Ronan? Why didn’t her husband wake her up?
"Irene? Did you see your brother?" Arielle asked in a hoarse voice.
"His Majesty the King left a long time ago," replied Irene.
Arielle turned towards the door in confusion. ’Did Ronan wake her up, but she wasn’t awake, or the man didn’t want to wake her up at all?’ Arielle asked in her head.
"Have you eaten, Your Highness?" Aimee asked. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
"I’m still full from breakfast earlier. I haven’t eaten yet. Maybe Irene wants to eat something?" Arielle offered her sister-in-law instead.
"I’ve eaten before coming to this," the girl replied.
Arielle folded Ronan’s coat neatly then sat down to join Irene on the long couch with Aimee on the other side of Irene.
"What are you talking about?" Arielle asked while looking at the book in Irene’s hand.
"Oh, I was just showing some of my diaries from when I was at the academy, and Irene said that she was curious about the academy."
"Oh... then you asked the right person. Aimee is an outstanding student at the academy," Arielle said, making Aimee smile shyly.
"Sasha also said that he will be going to the academy in a few months," Irene said dejectedly.
Arielle could see it. Either Irene was sad because her friend, Sasha, was going to the academy or she wanted to go to the academy too.
"Is going to the academy that fun, Arielle?" Irene asked.
She asked at the wrong person, Arielle thought.
Arielle was a bit taken aback by the question. She was confused about what to say. She... simply didn’t have the opportunity to join the academy before. Her other siblings were academy graduates. Even Andrea and Alexis were the best graduates.
Arielle had only been able to read and write in the last few months because Ronan had taught her. To be honest, she also wondered if academy life was all that fun? Because it seemed that at the academy, they could meet a lot of new people. Even her older brothers would often invite their academy friends to join the party.
Aimee saw the sparkling in Arielle’s eyes slowly faded. Perhaps the girl was sad because she had never had a proper education at the academy. Something that should be earned as a royal princess. And there was no device to turn back time. Maybe if she was given the chance, Arielle might try to get into the academy too?
