Love You Till the End-Chapter 233: I Don’t Care Who She Is
Chapter 233: Chapter 233: I Don’t Care Who She Is
Shen Cheng was caught off guard by the sudden collision, naturally losing her balance as her body uncontrollably leaned backward, about to fall, when suddenly a warm large hand wrapped around her waist.
Shi Yu promptly extended his hand to embrace her waist, gently pulling her towards him, and she turned and fell into his arms.
A scent uniquely his, mixed with a hint of tobacco, entered Shen Cheng’s nose, filling her lungs.
For the first time, she found the smell of his body intoxicatingly pleasant, impossible to resist.
Meanwhile, Susan took quite a tumble, struggling to get up in her stiletto heels and a long-tailed wedding dress.
As a public figure, faltering in front of so many people caused her face to flush red down to her neck instantly.
Seeing this, the staff members quickly came over to help, lifting her from the ground while asking nervously, "Sister Shan, are you alright?" freeweɓnovel-cøm
"I’m fine!" Susan’s tone was harsh, a stark contrast to her smiling face during the shoot just moments before.
"Oh! Good to hear you’re fine!" The staff member responded, already having heard about Susan’s diva behavior, which she fully lived up to today.
"I’m here for a commercial shoot, don’t you all know to close off the set? Seriously, letting all sorts of riffraff in here, purposely trying to embarrass me!" Susan complained bitterly, looking down at her dirtied wedding dress and getting even angrier, "Forget it, no more shooting, with the dress like this, what’s there to shoot!"
"Sister Shan, please calm down. Look, we’ve almost finished shooting today. We just need one more set of photos and then we can wrap up." The staff member tried to appease her.
"How am I supposed to shoot looking like this? My clothes are dirty, my hair’s a mess, do you want me to be humiliated?"
"Sister Shan, we can change the dress, redo the hair and makeup, it’s not a big deal. You’re magnanimous; you wouldn’t get angry over such a small matter, right?"
"I said no more shooting. I’m not in the mood!"
"How about this, Sister Shan? She bumped into you, we’ll have her apologize to you. If that makes you feel better, could we please finish today’s shooting?"
Susan huffed lightly, saying nothing more. She crossed her arms, her expression cold, exuding an air of superiority.
Assistants quickly brought over a chair: "Sister Shan, please have a seat."
Although somewhat reluctant, Susan still took the seat.
Soon after, the stylist and makeup artist came over, ready to redo her styling and makeup, taking no small care of her.
Meanwhile, the staff members immediately turned their attention to Shen Cheng, pointing at her: "You, come here for a second!"
Seeing someone pointing at her, Shen Cheng frowned unhappily and asked incredulously, "Me?"
"Yes, you. Hurry up and come here." The staff member motioned impatiently.
"Just because you tell me to come over, I should just come?" Shen Cheng doubted the staff member’s intelligence; she had no idea she was that obedient.
Seeing her standing still without any intent to move, the staff member, growing impatient, said: "Do you know who you just bumped into?"
She bumped?
That’s complete nonsense.
It was her who was bumped into, alright!
Glancing indifferently at Susan seated not far away, Shen Cheng spoke dismissively, "I don’t care who she is."
Just moments ago, she was wondering which big shot celebrity was throwing her weight around, demanding to be called Sister Shan and treated with utmost courtesy, only to find out it was that little wretch, Susan.
