Lord of Myths: I Can Summon and Fuse Divine Powers.-Chapter 49: Emiris the Immortal. (2)
The flames burned with blue and green colors, as they spread through the motionless bodies of the priests.
Those flames normally could only heal, but Emiris had made them evolve quite a bit throughout his training and research.
Just as he had managed to accelerate his own cells, he could accelerate the cells of others.
Without a trace of mercy, Emiris made the priests’ cells accelerate uncontrollably in various directions.
This could not only cause severe friction burns, but at a more intense degree it made living beings’ flesh explode.
The blue blood splattered everywhere, revealing the fairy condition of the priests.
While this was happening, Eirian had dragged Aizel away from there.
His father’s blows were very dangerous, and even holding back was enough to leave Aizel practically out of combat.
"You! How dare you murder priests? You’ll pay for your offense," the woman roared with clear annoyance as she took a step forward. "Attack!"
The woman ordered as she shot toward Emiris surrounded by a golden aura.
Diana’s speed was surprising, so much so that Emiris couldn’t react, receiving a blow from her shield full on.
The man went flying several meters while the other warriors ran toward him.
"Put the children in a safe place. Surround the enemy and don’t let him escape!" the woman continued, giving instructions.
Another priest went to Eirian and Aizel and moved them away with the help of another templar.
While the other templars positioned themselves around Emiris, raising their shields while a golden aura surrounded them.
It was orgone, mixed together to form a system of [intertwined engines].
Each body produces a certain amount of orgone and intertwines with each other to form a more stable and resistant protection.
With shields raised, a wall formed around Emiris, they quickly acted using long spears to stab them into the man from different directions.
"Pfft, templars who can’t even use divine arts, what kind of joke is this?" the man wondered with a smile, as he was lifted by multiple spears.
He was impaled from multiple sides, and still remained arrogant.
"Perhaps you should watch your tongue, bastard, you’re not in a position to be confident," Diana said firmly.
However, there was something strange, that man had been pierced multiple times by those spears, but not a trace of keter in his wounds.
The golden substance that ran through the veins of any Vanir didn’t show even when the target had been severely damaged.
"Are you sure about that?" the man said amused, as he looked at Diana with arrogance.
The woman didn’t respond, she simply began channeling ka into her mace.
"[Drastiriopoió]," the woman said.
The ivory-colored ram’s head-shaped mace began to be surrounded by golden and silver mosaics.
While only the Vanir can use divine arts, every being with ka can use artifacts.
"You’ll use an artificial divine art against a Vanir? How stupid," the man said with annoyance as the woman charged toward him.
Then Diana saw it, small green and blue flames danced timidly in the wounds they had made.
She had a bad feeling, but it was already too late.
The man was making that fire burn inside his body without anyone noticing, the moment the woman jumped seeking to hit him with her mace, Emiris acted.
All his cells accelerated with precise programming, with a gesture that implied the movement of his entire body, Emiris broke all the spears while striking his fist against the mace.
His fist accelerated so fast that part of his arm was disintegrated upon hitting the mace.
However, he not only managed to break the mace’s keter, but generated a shockwave that made all the templars stagger.
The mace went flying backward while Diana fell, but still in the air, Emiris didn’t finish his attack.
He moved his body while throwing a kick at Diana’s side, using that molecular acceleration to the maximum.
Diana was sent flying, the blow was so strong that even her armor, a sacred artifact, had fractured.
Emiris’s destroyed leg and arm healed in an instant thanks to his Devastra’s flames, so fast that before landing he was already healed.
The man accelerated as soon as he landed, launching himself toward one of the templars, his fist charged with green and blue flames impacted against the orgone-covered shield.
In an immense burst, Emiris accelerated both his arm and his cells so much that the formation ended up breaking and the templar in question was sent flying.
"Formation broken," the man said, as the flames from his now destroyed fist went in various directions.
The fire spread rapidly like a shockwave, covering and spreading through the vegetation.
The orgone protected the templars from the fire’s ability, however, that defense wasn’t eternal, and now it had weakened.
"Don’t give him a break! Attack!" the woman ordered as she stood up with difficulty.
The templars obeyed, and threw themselves at their target.
To be a templar you had to pass exhaustive tests and undergo harsh training.
Not just anyone could be a templar, especially if we’re talking about a team as important as an inspection team.
Each templar was an agile warrior who had learned to fight together with their team.
However, Emiris was simply on another level.
He almost seemed to be playing with them, dodging attacks, receiving others to heal instantly.
With a single well-placed blow he was capable of shattering the helmet and skull of one of them.
He used the keter in his body itself as a liquid projectile, and when he managed to penetrate through a person’s orgone, he destroyed them by accelerating their cells brutally.
In an instant he had already finished off five templars, though there weren’t few of them.
Some began to use their racial abilities, the elves called their twin spirit, the semi-beasts used their bestial ability. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Still, no strategy seemed to trap the elusive Emiris, who at a certain point, stood completely still.
"The games are over, {Kravyad}!" the man exclaimed, as his chest began to glow.
Everyone present felt their body paralyze with fear, and an ominous essence filtered through the pores of reality.
Emiris had just activated his Asurastra.
