Living with the Dangerous Beast-Chapter 95: The Kindest Brute
Chapter 95: The Kindest Brute
“No! No, Dohwi. I never thought of such a thing. Truly, I swear. Please believe me.”
Sohwa clung to Dohwi desperately, pleading with all her might, her voice filled with denial.
Dohwi loomed over her, his tone ominous as he muttered,
“You were planning to leave me a letter and disappear, weren’t you?”
“I wasn’t! I wouldn’t! I promise, I’ll never leave!”
“You can try running away again if you like.”
He said, his voice dark with menace.
“But it’ll only turn into another game of cat and mouse.”
“I won’t! I swear I won’t!”
Sohwa, unable to help herself, had begun to crawl toward the edge of the bedding, instinctively trying to flee.
But with a single tug, he dragged her back toward him, pinning her firmly in place.
“Ahhh!”
“You sly little fox.”
“Dohwi!”
“How can I trust anything that comes out of that cunning mouth of yours?”
“It’s true! You’re my husband—how could I ever send you away? You’re mine forever!”
“Forever?”
“Yes! Of course, you’ve caused me plenty of headaches, but—”
Her sentence was cut off by the sudden thrust of Dohwi’s rigid length into her.
The force of it left her abdomen aching as if she’d been punched.
“Ah... ah...!”
Without warning, Dohwi pulled out only to drive himself back in deeper, eliciting a sharp cry from her.
“Ungh...!”
His thick member pressed relentlessly against the mouth of her womb, grinding against it with a deep pleasure that sent waves through Sohwa’s body.
Even Dohwi wasn’t immune to the intensity of it.
“Sohwa.”
As she sobbed beneath him from the overwhelming waves of her release, the thought of impregnating her filled him with a chilling thrill.
Knowing he could plant his seed in her, knowing he could make it happen, sent a shiver down his spine.
“We need to have a baby.”
It had been decades since Yongbeom and Hwibeom had left.
“Do you want to carry my child again?”
“Ah... no, no, I don’t. I truly don’t.”
In truth, Sohwa secretly longed to cradle another tiger cub that looked just like Dohwi.
If she could have a plump, healthy daughter, she’d ask for nothing more.
But she knew all too well what would happen if she admitted her true feelings.
Dohwi’s manhood would grow even harder, and the mere thought of that made her break into a cold sweat.
“Not this year. Maybe... maybe later....”
“Liar.”
Dohwi grabbed the back of her neck, his teeth grazing her exposed throat.
“Every winter, you always start wanting a baby, don’t you?”
“Well... that’s true, but....”
Every time she started talking about babies, Dohwi’s rut would begin.
If she let him do as he pleased now, she’d undoubtedly face more torment.
“Ahhh...! I can’t take it anymore!”
Even a single round with Dohwi left her spent, pushed to the peak so many times she’d lost count.
Even after finishing inside her, he didn’t pull out, his hips still moving against hers.
They eventually collapsed onto their sides, Dohwi wrapping a hand around her lower belly as he gently rubbed it.
“This belly of yours needs to swell soon.”
“Well, I’ve already told you I don’t want a baby.”
“That way, you won’t be able to wander outside.”
“...Dohwi. It’s thoughts like that that make people call you a terrible tiger. What kind of mountain lord gets nicknamed a ‘brute’?”
Even as his wife scolded him, Dohwi simply chuckled, burying his face against her shoulder.
“Who says I’m terrible? Who calls me that?”
“Everyone who knows you!”
“That can’t be true. Where could you find a tiger as kind as me?”
Like a well-domesticated house cat, Dohwi nuzzled his cheek against her neck, his affectionate gesture belying his earlier ferocity.
“Don’t get close to anyone else. I’ll make sure they disappear.”
It was a chilling threat, whispered as if it were a sweet confession of love.
‘I raised him so carefully, and yet he’s grown into such a terrifying beast....’
Day by day, Sohwa’s worries only deepened.
* * *
“Ma’am, are you feeling unwell? Shall I prepare some chicken porridge for you?”
“No need.”
With the sun already high in the sky, Sohwa sat at the breakfast table, deep in thought.
Something had been strange about Dohwi last night.
While her young husband was always vigorous, he usually kept his promises.
Yet, breaking his word and obsessively clinging to her with such blind passion was unlike him.
‘What’s gotten into that boy all of a sudden?’
Clang!
Lost in thought, Sohwa accidentally dropped her spoon.
‘Ah, no. Could it really be that time again?’
‘That damned tiger’s rut!’
Dohwi didn’t experience it every year.
But when it did come, he wouldn’t let Sohwa leave the inner quarters at all.
He became as relentless as a grim reaper chasing lost souls, clinging to her day and night.
Unlike hers, which lasted only a day or two, Dohwi’s rut dragged on for an entire month.
And embarrassingly enough, his damned stamina seemed endless.
Just the thought of Dohwi going into rut as winter approached sent chills down her spine.
Sohwa pushed her breakfast aside and lay down.
