Living with the Dangerous Beast-Chapter 79: The Beginning of Early Summer
Chapter 79: The Beginning of Early Summer
With a satisfied hum, he licked his lips and looked at her with a gleam in his eyes.
“I’m hungry too, Sohwa.”
“Oh no!”
In a flash, Sohwa found herself flipped over, startled by the languid gaze staring down at her.
‘This shameless tiger! After toying with me all night, now he wants to give it another go...! I should’ve expected this when he fed me so well...!’
“Hm?”
“....”
“Just one bite. I promise, just a few licks.”
He urged softly, but his hands were already working to undo her blouse.
With Dohwi nestled between her legs before she could even react, now naked, Sohwa sighed in resignation.
‘It must be because the children have left. He’s definitely in heat.’
How else could she explain Dohwi’s relentless desire for intimacy ever since Yongbeom and Hwibeom left home? There was no other explanation for his insatiable appetite.
Glancing down, she peeked at him. Dohwi was devouring her mound as if he were a greedy tyrant savoring an elixir of immortality. It was absolutely an outrageous sight.
‘Even though he’s my husband, this is just too embarrassing... What am I supposed to do with him...?’
She feared someone might witness this indecency. But, well, what choice did she have?
She would just have to live with him AND his unlimited lust towards her until their hair turned gray.

Perhaps because she had been cooped up in the bedroom for the entire season, winter seemed to pass more quickly than usual.
Before she knew it, spring buds were sprouting, and the long monsoon rains had come and gone.
It was the beginning of early summer.
“Woongsik, have you seen Dohwi?”
“The master went to visit the sage Cheesan.”
“Did he? Well then, let’s go on a patrol together.”
“Of course, madam.”
Sohwa and Woongsik set off on a rare outing together on Mount Taeryong.
No sooner had she left the grand house, Sohwa, who had to remain in her human form around Dohwi, promptly transformed back into her fox form.
“Make sure to keep up and don’t fall behind.”
“Yes, madam.”
Woongsik followed at a slow pace to match the silver fox’s steps.
Occasionally, he was tempted to grab that adorable, ever-swaying tail of hers, but he knew better... the consequences would be severe.
Actually, she was the boss of all bosses, who had never even made a meal with her own hands.
When he first met Sohwa, Woongsik had felt a strange sense of rebellion.
He had long admired the tiger of Mount Taeryong, Dohwi, a creature so powerful who was literally considered a demigod.
Not only that, but as one of the chosen few by the Jade Emperor, he had been reborn with ironclad skin and revered as a symbol of awe.
「So why does a fierce tiger like him fall head over heels for that little ball of fluff?」
But now, Woongsik was beginning to understand.
“Tsk tsk.”
With her hands clasped behind her back, Sohwa strutted around Mount Taeryong, inspecting this and that.
“Look at those hazelnut shells scattered all over the place.”
Clicking her tongue in disapproval, she turned to Woongsik.
“Winter is long gone, and yet these squirrels, what are they doing? Not planting trees, just greedily hoarding the nuts for themselves.”
Sohwa couldn’t take her eyes off the fragrant hazelnut shells. If no one was watching, she might’ve gathered them all up in her pouch.
Though she pretended to be all about hunting, Woongsik knew she had a soft spot for wild berries and fruits like raspberries.
“These greedy squirrels, I swear!”
“Please, madam, just let it slide this time. It would be nice to show some mercy to those helpless creatures as the queen of the mountain.
“Alright, I’ll let them off the hook, just because you asked.”
After venting about the greedy squirrels and greeting every raccoons and weasels she passed, Sohwa finally turned back to Woongsik.
“I suppose I should call it a day. The troublesome tiger that once terrorized Mount Taeryong is finally gone, so it wouldn’t be right for me to stir things up and make everyone anxious.”
“Indeed, no one has ever seen a beast as fearsome as you, madam.”
“Ahem.”
Her small shoulders puffed up in pride at the bear’s flattery, which he gave without even realizing how much it boosted her confidence.
“Woongsik.”
“Yes, madam?”
“We’ve got some time to spare. Let’s go pick some plums.”
“As you wish, madam.”
Woongsik recently understood why Dohwi was always nibbling and licking at Sohwa’s nape.
Every time he saw the fluffy little fox from behind, he had to try his best to resist the urge to gobble her up in one bite.
“Why don’t you transform into your true form as well?”
“You don’t mind, madam?”
“Not at all. I’ve grown quite used to your true form.”
There was a time when Sohwa had fallen ill from nightmares for three nights after seeing Woongsik’s true form, but that was long in the past.
