Living with the Dangerous Beast-Chapter 106: To Make Me Angry
Chapter 106: To Make Me Angry
As she was about to dart out through the inner gate, Dohwi caught her by the ankle.
“Where are you going? Didn’t you say you were going to the outhouse?”
Sohwa froze, then turned stiffly to look at him.
He gestured towards the nearby outhouse.
“Well, um, I’ve been staying in the servants’ quarters lately, you know. It’s just... my body’s gotten used to their outhouse, that’s all....”
“....”
“I’ll be quick!”
Her flimsy excuse left Dohwi speechless.
Flustered, Sohwa bolted out of the inner quarters.
* * *
“Teacher! Teacher!”
Bursting into the outer quarters, Sohwa called for Noksu in a hushed voice.
But the guest quarters were silent.
She sighed at the sight of the untouched breakfast tray on the porch.
‘That foolish gumiho. Even in someone else’s house, he can’t break his lazy habits.’
She couldn’t bring herself to barge into his room to wake him, yet leaving him there felt equally wrong.
Completely unaware that the tiger was practically sharpening his claws to tear him apart, Noksu seemed as carefree as ever.
Clicking her tongue, Sohwa muttered to herself.
“What a ridiculous gumiho you are....”
Just last night, he had played his geomungo, further irritating Dohwi.
He was nothing but a foolish, naive fox.
And she knew that she herself was equally foolish to believe his faint promise of giving her a tail and take him as her teacher.
“Teacher, wake up already!”
Standing at the doorway, Sohwa whispered.
Even with the rooster crowing loudly outside, the guest quarters remained eerily quiet.
What should she do?
Pacing nervously, Sohwa finally stepped into the courtyard.
Cautiously, she crossed the wooden platform and approached the sliding door leading to Noksu’s room.
The shadow of a figure flickered through the paper-covered lattice window.
“Teacher, are you awake? I have something urgent to discuss with you. Please come out!”
Mistaking the shadow for a stirring figure, Sohwa knocked lightly on the wooden door.
But there was no response.
“Now is not the time for this. It’s urgent matter! I said, come out!”
Growing impatient, Sohwa could wait no longer and slid the door open.
“That fan—it’s about the fan. I kept it in a safe place, but last night, a faceless ghost came and took—”
The figure inside turned around, and Sohwa froze in shock.
Her trembling hand flew to her mouth to stifle a scream.
“D-D-Dohwi...!”
She was so startled that her words came out garbled.
Dohwi, now towering over her, closed the distance with a few strides.
Tilting her chin up with one finger, he locked eyes with her.
“Is this the outhouse?”
His low, deliberate voice left her speechless, as if she’d been struck dumb.
How could he move so stealthily?
She finally understood why other beasts couldn’t stand a chance against him.
Experiencing it firsthand was utterly terrifying.
“T-the thing is... it’s the fan! Because of the fan....”
Sohwa stammered, barely stringing her words together.
Just then, the voice of the gatekeeper called out from outside the estate.
“Where have you been this early in the morning?”
“I went to the mountains. Your master left me a little gift, you see.”
“The breakfast tray is on the porch.”
“I’ll enjoy it, thank you.”
Noksu, who had gone out early in the morning, returned at last.
At that moment, a wicked smirk spread across Dohwi’s lips—a sneer more fitting for a lowly schemer than a noble mountain lord.
“It seems our audience has arrived.”
He said.
Dohwi’s tongue slowly ran over his lips, deliberate and menacing.
What is he planning now?
A terrible sense of foreboding gripped Sohwa as her heart pounded loudly in her chest.
As Noksu’s voice echoed faintly from outside, Sohwa hesitated.
She was about to step out of the guest quarters when, without warning, Dohwi appeared behind her.
Before she could react, he grabbed her and slung her over his shoulder, ignoring her startled gasp.
Marching straight to the thin sliding partition door that separated the study from the guest room, he roughly pushed it open.
Inside lay Noksu’s geomungo, a ceremonial mask of Bangsangsi, and other small items.
“Dohwi, why are we...?”
“Turn around.”
He said calmly, though his burning eyes betrayed the simmering desire within.
“H-here? Right here?”
Sohwa stammered, her voice trembling in disbelief.
“Now.”
Without even waiting for her response, Dohwi turned her roughly and pressed her against the delicate sliding door.
Panic spread through her as she realized Noksu might hear everything.
Even the light footsteps entering the guest quarters were loud enough to echo throughout the room—there was no way anything they did here would go unnoticed.
“No, Dohwi! We’re surely beasts, but this is too much!”
Sohwa protested desperately, but her struggles remained futile.
Dohwi’s hand slipped under her clothes and roughly grabbed her breast, his thumb and forefinger quickly finding her nipple and rolling it between them. freewēbnoveℓ.com
“Why?”
“A-ah....”
“Wasn’t this what you wanted? To make me angry by flirting with that damned fox?”
The pressure on her sensitive nipple sent shivers down her spine, weakening her arms until her palms barely held onto the door for support.
Her sensitive tips began to harden under his fingers.
