Chapter 160: Chapter 160: Stirring Up Trouble

"Amazing, my Wanzi actually rode on my cousin!"

"That’s because your cousin didn’t fight back, otherwise Wanzi wouldn’t have had the chance."

"I thought they were really fighting, turns out they’re just teasing."

"Is the car door welded shut? Why can’t I get out?"

"The sneaky organizers are stirring things up. Both people can use the points freely for exchange, can’t they let people cooperate properly? After all, some people have limited self-control."

"Are you implying something about our Wanzi? Arrest them, arrest them."

"Indeed, the organizers are stirring up trouble; this will lead to conflicts in many teams."

"This could be considered a test for them. If they can’t handle two people, what will they do with three teams cooperating later?"

Wang Jin saw that Lu Yao gave up resistance, then silently stood up.

"If we’re not exchanging, we’re not exchanging. Once we complete the challenge, I’ll haul a load back home and slowly enjoy it." Saying this, Wang Jin walked to the side and lifted the log again.

Lu Yao shook her head at Wang Jin’s demeanor and then showed a hint of a relieved smile.

The line must not be crossed; once it is, it will prompt her to exchange for other things and be driven by desire.

If Wang Jin were the kind of person with great self-discipline, Lu Yao would surely not oppose her.

After all, with more than four hundred days left, one careless move, and you could be eliminated.

Whatever she wanted, she could have as much as she wanted after being eliminated.

"So, is there something you really want?" Xu Yi glanced at Lu Ke. He was about to use 20 points to exchange for something.

"Better to save the points. I think they’ll be more useful in the future. Although everything is available here, if we give up, we can still buy these things. So, my suggestion is not to exchange." Lu Ke said earnestly, even though many items indeed caught her eye.

But when she thought of the Illusionary Flower Beast and Calamity Python, Lu Ke felt these points, earned through Xu Yi’s risk to his life, shouldn’t be used for her enjoyment.

There’s still a long way to go. What if we exchange now and really encounter an emergency later?

"Alright, we won’t exchange then." Xu Yi nodded with a smile, sharing the same thought as Lu Ke.

After closing the exchange interface, Xu Yi took the bamboo tube, where the water had already cooled and could be drunk directly.

"Xu Yi, did you find Sister Yan and Sister Yun’s camp?" Lu Ke asked curiously while taking off her clothes, as she was also covered in that kind of slime.

Luckily, below the neck there wasn’t much, otherwise she would have to take a bath.

"Found it. Just follow that small path. But they’ve already given up the challenge and left." Xu Yi replied.

"Ah, they gave up?" Lu Ke was a bit surprised, as she thought Su Yan wasn’t someone who would give up easily.

"Yes, because they didn’t complete the territory task, they lost all their tools and were sent to a new location." Xu Yi explained. He also knew Su Yan wouldn’t give up easily; it must have been under impossible circumstances.

"I remember now; it was the rainy night, and the temperature dropped sharply, leading to more than a dozen teams quitting." Thinking of that night, Lu Ke couldn’t help but mention it.

Xu Yi nodded, walking to the fire, pouring hot water into another bamboo tube and adding water from the plastic bag to the pot to keep boiling.

"But Sister Yan and the others got quite lucky. The spot is excellent; many animals might come to drink here. Plus, the lake has plenty of fish, so they should have an easy time." Xu Yi observed the surroundings, expressing his sentiment.

The rock wall at their camp recorded numbers from 1 to 27, indicating they found such a good place from the start.

It’s a pity they didn’t hold out till the end.

Sitting nearby, Xu Yi watched Lu Ke wash her clothes, keeping the Hunting Bow beside him in case any other wild animals appeared.

After about ten minutes, Lu Ke finished washing her clothes, wrung them out, and brought them over to dry them before wearing again.

"Let’s dry them at Sister Yan’s camp; there’s plenty of firewood there." Xu Yi suggested, taking the clothes and putting them in his basket.

Thankfully, Xu Yi placed the basket on this side from the beginning, otherwise, it might have been damaged during the fight with the Calamity Python.

Lu Ke nodded, curious about Su Yan and Yun Qing’s camp, so she grabbed her things and followed Xu Yi to their camp.

Upon arriving, Lu Ke saw a cave in the rock wall.

"A natural cave?" Lu Ke asked in surprise.

"Yes, that’s why they’re lucky. This camp doesn’t require much time or effort." As Xu Yi spoke, he moved a pile of firewood nearby and started a fire.

Lu Ke crawled into the cave and found it quite spacious inside, enough to sleep seven or eight people.

This spot is truly an excellent campsite; pulling up the ladder at night, there’s no worry of animal attacks.

And it remains cool inside the cave, shielded from the sun, not at all stifling.

When Lu Ke came down from the cave, Xu Yi had already lit the fire and laid the clothes on the basket to dry by the fire.

"Xu Yi, are you really okay?" Lu Ke looked at Xu Yi, asking with some concern.

"Just some muscle bruises, no bone injury, nothing major. We still need to handle the Calamity Python’s body, so let’s stay here today since there’s a camp to rest." Xu Yi rubbed his shoulder; his body was still quite sore in many places.

"Forgot to bring the medical kit out; next time we should bring it along." Lu Ke thought having the medical kit on hand might be necessary. In emergencies, it would be useful, unlike leaving it at the camp.

"It’s okay, just a little soreness, a day of rest will do." Saying this, Xu Yi leaned back to rest.

"You should lie down and rest for a while." Lu Ke suggested with concern.

"No need, I’m not that fragile. Once the clothes are dry, we can go deal with the Calamity Python." Xu Yi grinned, still thinking about the Calamity Python’s carcass.

After all, that python weighs over a thousand pounds; if processed into jerky, it could last for up to three or four months.

Subsequently, Xu Yi and Lu Ke wouldn’t need to carry all prey back to the camp when hunting far; just bring enough fresh meat for the day.

Considering jerky only lasts a few months, there’s no need to stockpile too much.

"I can handle it; you should rest here." Lu Ke offered, implying she could manage it alone.
