Leveling Up by Seducing Milfs-Chapter 131. The Queen, The General, and The Priestess
Sylvia’s huge dragon form hit the ground with enough force to break it under her claws.
Her red and gold scales shone in the corrupted light, and each one gave off a powerful energy that made the air itself feel hot. With a predatory focus, her eyes, like molten amber filled with long-forgotten rage, fixed on the Corrupted Zork.
Liora came down more slowly next to her, her divine wings folding behind her as waves of golden light pulsed from her body.
The holy energy she gave off made the corrupted creatures around her back away and hiss. Their twisted bodies couldn’t handle even her passive aura.
The corrupted Zork stood in front of them, and its huge twelve-foot frame shook with each breath. It leaked purple corruption energy from every pore, making a poisonous miasma that killed the grass under its feet.
The sickly purple glow completely covered its eyes, and it didn’t seem to recognize the two powerful beings that had just arrived.
Sylvia’s lip curled back, showing rows of teeth that were very sharp. "So this is the famous Demon King?"
"The one who brought the demon realm together with power and knowledge?" Her voice was full of contempt. "He looks like a mindless animal now... what a joke."
Even though things were going crazy around them, Liora’s face stayed calm. Her hands were already glowing with divine energy.
"There’s no way to save him, is there?" Her voice was soft, like she was sorry. "The corruption has taken too much of him."
"My magic to purify won’t even reach what’s left of his soul."
"Then we kill it." Sylvia’s statement was straightforward and unemotional. "Fast and clean."
"No point in making things worse."
Before either of them could move, Liora looked at Zara, who was broken and trying to stand a few meters away. The Demon General was hurt all over, and blood was pooling under her as she gasped for air.
"Wait," Liora said, and she was already moving toward Zara. "She needs to get better first."
"We need her strength for this fight."
Sylvia wanted to fight alone, but she held back. Even though it made her mad to say so, the High Priestess was right.
Instead, she stood between the Corrupted Zork and Liora, using her huge body to block the way.
Liora knelt next to Zara and put her glowing hands on the chest of the Demon General. "Don’t move."
"This will hurt for a little while, but then it will get better."
Divine light enveloped Zara’s body, mending broken bones and sealing torn flesh. The Demon General gritted her teeth to endure the pain, but within moments, the healing was complete. Her wounds closed, her breathing steadied, and the color returned to her face.
Zara’s eyes flew open, and she saw the Corrupted Zork right away on the battlefield. "That thing..."
"That’s my husband."
"I’m afraid to tell you that he’s not anymore," Liora said softly as she helped Zara get up. "That’s a puppet of corruption now."
"The husband you loved is already gone."
"I know." There was nothing in Zara’s voice but determination. "I have to be the one to end this, though."
"I won’t let that horrible thing wear his face anymore."
She picked up her two swords and felt how heavy they were in her hands. The demonic fire that usually surrounded the weapons flickered weakly, as if it were reacting to her emotional state.
But at least it was still there.
Liora took a step back as Zara moved forward to stand next to Sylvia. The two women looked at each other, and the air between them was so tense that it almost crackled.
"So the proud Dragon Queen is willing to help the lowly demons," Zara said, her voice full of sarcasm. "How nice of you to finally show up after my husband has already died."
Sylvia’s eyes narrowed in a scary way. "Maybe your husband wouldn’t be a corrupt monster right now if he had kept up his defenses instead of getting soft in retirement."
"Please don’t blame me for his weakness."
"You dare—"
"I dare to tell the truth." Sylvia’s huge head turned to look directly at Zara. "Your dear Demon King let his guard down."
"He became too comfortable after that useless retirement... Now we all have to clean up the mess."
Zara’s grip on her swords got tighter, and her knuckles turned white. "You self-righteous, pompous—"
"THAT’S ENOUGH!" Liora’s voice cut through their arguing like a knife.
The High Priestess stepped in between them, and her calm face finally broke into a look of annoyance. "We don’t have time for this petty rivalry! Look around you!"
"The demon camp is being overrun! Rick is unconscious and critically injured!"
"Thousands of lives depend on us working together!"
Both women stopped talking, but neither looked happy about it.
Liora kept going, her voice strong. "Three of the Seven Great Powers are here right now."
"Demon General, Dragon Queen, and High Priestess."
"How do you expect to save this world from the corruption that threatens to destroy everything if we can’t even work together for one battle?"
Sylvia huffed, and smoke came out of her nose. "Urgh... fine!"
"I’ll put up with the demon bitch. For now."
"How kind," Zara said with a hint of anger. "Don’t get in my way, lizard hoe."
"Lizard hoe?!" Sylvia’s voice turned into a dangerous growl.
"FOCUS, both of you!" Liora pointed at the corrupted Zork, which had been watching them with its blank purple eyes. "The real enemy is right there!"
"Save your hate for later!"
The tension hung in the air for a moment longer before both warriors finally turned their attention to the real danger.
The demon army, which had been fiercely battling the corrupted creatures, paused to observe. Thousands of demons focused their attention on the three strong women confronting their fallen king.
A fragile, desperate hope began to spread among them.
Commander Rylah raised her voice, her warhammer still dripping with corrupted ichor. "THREE OF THE SEVEN POWERS!"
"THEY’RE GOING TO SAVE US!"
Other demons joined in the cry. "THE QUEEN OF DRAGONS!"
"GENERAL ZARA!"
"THE HIGH PRIESTESS!"
The chanting got louder, like a war cry that shook the air. The evil creatures hesitated because they could feel the change in power.
Even though they were mindless, they could feel the power of three Major Powers standing together.
Then the corrupted Zork’s mouth opened, and that horrible voice that they know so well came out. Not the beast’s mindless roar, but something much worse.
The Archon had come back to talk through his puppet.
"How sweet." The voice was beautiful and terrible, like silk wrapped around broken glass.
"Three of the Seven Powers finally came together."
"This must be what hope looks like."
The Corrupted Zork’s deformed face made something that looked like a smile. "Do you really think this will make a difference?"
"Do you really think that standing together will somehow make things better for you?"
Sylvia growled, and flames began to rise in her throat. "We’re going to rip you apart, you fucking parasite."
"Oh, the Queen of the Dragons speaks!" The Archon laughed at Zork’s messed-up body. "How does it feel, Sylvia Flameheart?"
"You fought my waves of corruption for four days, wearing yourself out to protect your precious lands. And during that time, I ruined the one thing you couldn’t afford to lose."
The Archon shifted his focus to Zara. "And you, Zara Bloodthorn."
"The loyal wife. The devoted general."
"How does it feel to know that your husband begged you to kill him in his last moments of clarity?"
"That the last thing he saw before corruption took over was your face, twisted in fear?"
