From the wave of power still rippling through his system, Elias knew that his forging was not over, and he wondered if it was because he was using three Lumina Arts that caused such an extended first forging, but he was not alone.

The gigantic Flesh Mauler stood before him, now twenty feet tall, and its skin had been replaced by living bone armor, and with every breath it took, flames poured from every joint, and a beating heart was now embedded in its chest like a second sun.

Elias looked at the eyes of this transformed Siphon, and he did not see the familiar light of intelligence; the heart he had consumed had transformed him, but his mind was gone. This was nothing but a monster.

It roared, and it sent winds that blew past Elias, blowing his waist-long red hair into a cloud of blood. By all right, this minster should have attacked, but it didn’t, and Elias knew that beasts had keener senses than men, and despite its strength, it could surely sense the madness brewing inside his flesh.

Elias smiled, and his cheeks cracked, revealing the muscles beneath his face that were outlined by glowing crimson veins... and he closed his eyes.

"Status." He commanded, and a flood of blue covered his vision.

There were so many changes in his Status Screen, and all were important, but Elias focused on what he could use at the moment. The first was that his Vitality and his Stamina could not be properly quantified, and even his Stats were growing.

What was amazing was that his Esoteric Attribute had finally grown outside of him, using his points to increase. Still, his Will was the highest of his Attributes, but that may change very soon.

When he was a Wisp, he was gaining 18 points of Attributes every time he leveled up, but as a Fury Forge, he would be gaining 45! That was nearly triple the amount of points he could place in any of his Stats. If he got to be a Level 9 Fury Forge, he would have 405 points in total to be spent.

Having a hundred pools of Lumina was crazy, and Elias was only realizing how great the gap would be created by him and everyone else by the fact that he would be gaining so many attributes at the Fury Forge level. What would he gain as a Mist Phantom and in the higher stages? If he added his Elder Talent into the equation, then things would soon get out of hand.

To satisfy the desires of his heart and his Elder Talent for challenges, what would he have to do to break his body?

Any regrets he had for choosing three Legacies vanished when he saw how much progress his body would be making in the future, and he believed more than anyone that he could make it work.

All of his stats had grown, but not as much as Elias believed they should have, and he could guess the reasons, because it must be related to his body still experiencing forging.

Instead of his body stats exploding to an even greater height after all the torture he had endured, all of that progress was being siphoned to keep him alive. Elias did not know if all of these Attributes would be returned back to him after his forging was over, but he did not care if they were gone forever, if it meant he survived.

Still, his Attributes burning was not such a bad thing, as glancing at his Vitality and Stamina showed that his Status Screen could not even quantify it. He was healing so fast that for the moment, his vitality could be regarded as infinite!

By all right, he should be dead, and if the price he had to pay was the loss of his growth, this loss was temporary, and it was not as if his stats were not still growing. Elias did not know who could afford to burn their attributes for their survival, but he could afford this cost.

The ground began to tremble as the creature that was no longer a Flesh Mauler began to walk towards him, but Elias did not open his eyes. No doubt, the act of Elias closing his eyes had reduced the apprehension in the heart of the creature.

’Good,’ Elias knew that this creature had been on the verge of bolting a while back, and he knew he did not have the time to chase.

The next obvious change in his Status Screen was the addition of Legacies. His Lumina Vein Scripture and Arts had become a part of him, and even though he knew at the Fury Forge Level, he should not be able to gain much benefit from them, he was still a bit stunned at everything he was seeing.

So many new abilities for him to use almost made him lose focus for a few moments before he tightened his focus. The Hollow Monarch Scripture did not seem to give him any attack abilities, but he did not understand what Paradox Vessel meant; however, he clearly understood Inverse Reflection.

1% damage reflection might not seem like much, but he knew that this was the base form of this ability, and as he grew stronger in the future, how broken this ability would be. Elias’s health pool was ridiculous, combined with his durability and healing, even if he stood still, his enemies might just kill themselves when they hit him.

Of all his Legacies, the Hollow Monarch Scripture held only two effects, but he had only one part out of seven of the scrolls. If this trend continued and he could find the last six scrolls, then he would have fourteen base abilities.
