Chapter 418: Chapter 418 Important Guest_1

“How dare you barge in and start hitting people! Stop it, all of you!”

Bryson Ridge was also feeling the pain of losing money. When she looked up and saw that Lewis Leocadia was being held down and beaten, she immediately became furious.

She rushed over and slapped Zane Percival across the face, “You dare hit my son!”

Zane Percival was smugly watching his handiwork, thinking that Bran Cook would definitely praise him once he found out. He didn’t notice Bryson Ridge approaching at all.

By the time he realized a middle-aged woman was coming towards him, Bryson Ridge’s slap had already landed!

Slap!

This crisp sound immediately quieted down the inside of the KTV.

Apart from the tacky pop song that was playing, there were no other sounds.

The young men who were beating Lewis stopped their actions and slowly surrounded Bryson Ridge.

“Damn it! You dare hit me!”

Zane Percival touched his cheek, feeling a burning pain.

The Percival Family was also a powerful household in Gonzalez City. Zane Percival’s father’s logistics business had made a fortune by monopolizing the transport industry in Gonzalez City in recent years, thanks to a secret deal with Aron Jackson.

Joining forces with the Cook Family was for the purpose of expanding their transport business even further, to completely dominate the industry.

But most importantly, Aron Jackson demanded too much.

The Percival Family was looking for a new backer.

Zane Percival, who had grown up surrounded by wealth, had skin as delicate as a girl’s.

He had lived for over twenty years and had never been hit before.

Bryson Ridge’s slap had left a handprint on Zane Percival’s face.

“Younger Percival, how do you want to deal with this crazy bitch?”

A group of angry young men crowded around, as if they couldn’t wait to devour Bryson Ridge.

“I warn you! I am a woman, and if any of you dares to touch me, I’ll call the police!”

Bryson Ridge, terrified, promptly backed away but was then kicked to the ground by someone behind her.

“Ouch!”

She let out a pained cry, sitting on the ground, at a loss.

“Damn it! This is the first time in my life someone has dared to hit me!”

Zane Percival took out a small mirror and, in the dim light of the KTV, saw the bright red handprint on his face, which immediately made him furious.

Slap!

He crouched down and delivered a slap that made his hand go numb!

“Ah…”

Bryson Ridge uttered a scream, clutching her face as tears streamed down.

How could she, a woman, endure a full-force slap from a grown man?

“You guys, keep hitting him!”

Zane Percival gave Bryson Ridge a vicious kick, stood up, and directed the others to continue beating Lewis Leocadia.

“Stop it!”

Just then, Quella Radcliffe stepped forward to shield Bryson Ridge.

After all, this was her own aunt, and she couldn’t stand by and watch her relative get beaten.

“You stinking woman, get out of the way!” One of the men walked over and was about to push Quella when Zane Percival quickly held him back.

This was the woman Bran Cook liked. If he were to hit her and Bran Cook became unhappy, all of today’s efforts would be in vain.

“Brother Percival!” The man had just turned around when Zane Percival shoved him out of the way.

“You dare lay a hand on the woman Bran Cook likes?”

Zane Percival, cursing and swearing, kicked the man before smiling and approaching Quella, “Miss Radcliffe, this matter does not concern you. Could you please step aside?”

He glanced over at the sofa, where Quella’s parents were sitting, and said, “These are Miss Radcliffe’s parents; take care not to hurt them by mistake!”

“Understood!”

The young men assented and continued the beating of Lewis Leocadia.

“I really don’t know Amos Davenport… Please stop… you must have the wrong person…”

Lewis Leocadia curled up on the floor, clutching his head and screaming in agony as he was beaten.

“Damn it! Tough bones, huh? Keep hitting him! I want to see whether your bones are harder, or my fists are!”

Zane Percival also pushed forward and kicked Lewis Leocadia several times in the buttocks.

Seeing the situation about to spiral out of control, several men in suits pushed the door open and shouted sternly, “Stop it!”

“Who the hell are you! You dare to meddle in Young Percival’s business?”

A young man swaggered over, reaching out to push the person who had just spoken.

In their eyes, Zane Percival had some status in Gonzalez City, and his family even had dealings with Aron Jackson. These small fries weren’t even worth considering.

But the young man had barely stretched out his hand when one of the men in suits fiercely grabbed his wrist and twisted it downwards!

Crack!

He snapped the arm cleanly in two!

“Ah… my hand…”

The young man let out a wail of agony, kneeling on the ground and howling in pain.

“Brothers, someone dares to touch one of our own, get them!”

The younger men, snapping back to reality, stopped and turned to crowd around the doorway.

“May I ask who you are?”

Zane Percival hurried to halt the young men about to throw punches and looked at the man in the suit before him.

This was the Bronze Sparrow Platform, Aron Jackson’s territory!

It wouldn’t be good to cause trouble rashly.

“Aric Smith!”

The man in the suit replied with a cold voice.

Hearing this name scared Zane Percival terribly.

He quickly extended his hand in a friendly gesture, “So it’s Mr. Smith. My men are ignorant and have offended you. Please don’t take it personally!”

Aric Smith was the manager of the Bronze Sparrow Platform, and he was one of the few close to Aron Jackson.

Giving Aric Smith control of the Bronze Sparrow Platform indicated the trust Aron Jackson had in him.

Offending such a person was something the Percival Family could ill afford.

“Young Percival, he’s just a lousy security guard, is he worth being so polite to? What right does he have to stand here anyway!”

A young man from a not-so-bad family background was very dissatisfied, as his good friend had just had his arm broken.

Slap!

Zane Percival backhanded the young man and then kicked him hard: “Mr. Smith is the manager of the Bronze Sparrow Platform. Does he have the right to speak here or not?”

Hiss!

Hearing the identity of the man before them, the young men all lowered their heads, not daring to breathe loudly.

“Zane Percival, you’ve become so arrogant now? Your followers are running wild! Does a manager like me have no right to enter?”

Aric Smith looked coldly at Zane Percival, causing the latter to break out in cold sweat.

“Mr. Smith, don’t joke with me. Is there anything you need me for? I will definitely see it done for you!” Zane Percival wiped the sweat from his forehead, carefully watching Aric Smith’s expression.

Could it be because it was his own birthday that Aric Smith had come personally to celebrate?

But if that was the case, why come to this private room?

He was supposed to go to his own room, wasn’t he?

“Mr. Smith, is it because of my birthday? You’re too generous to personally toast me over this.”

But thinking about his family’s cooperative relationship with Aron Jackson, he felt it might just be the case.

“Toasting you?”

Aric Smith raised an eyebrow and walked up to Zane Percival, hands clasped behind his back: “Young Percival, if I toast you, would you dare to drink?”

Even Arlo Percival, Zane’s father, wouldn’t dare let himself be toasted, let alone his son!

“Then Mr. Smith, why have you come here…”

Zane Percival was completely baffled. If it wasn’t for his own birthday, then what was the purpose of this visit?

“I’ve come here to wait for an important guest.”

Aric Smith said coldly.
