Chapter 99: He’s Up!

Darius stood there as he watched Nathan crash into the forest. He was a bit happy that he got to punch the idiot; he was not going to be worried about him.

’I am not sure he would be able to survive that hit.’ Azree spoke up.

"I know." Darius smiled. If anything, he didn’t want to see Nathan come back from that attack. He turned to see the transponder holding his unconscious partner.

"Come, Joe, you can’t die here. You have a little girl at home waiting for you to come back." The Transponder was tearing up while holding the man.

Darius was looking at him, he couldn’t shake off the feeling of sadness he had within him. He walked close to the Transponder, bending over, and he touched the unconscious man with his left hand.

"His heart is still beating." Darius calmly said, a smile on his face.

’Is there any skill I can use to save this man?’ He asked the system, he was looking up.

[Special Skill Obtained From Kurgon’s Absorption Found!]

[Transfer Regeneration- The Host can use his regenerative abilities on another human to restore health. Usage of the ability will lessen the effects of the host’s healing abilities by 70% for the next 24 hours.]

[Should I proceed?]

"Yes!" Darius didn’t want to waste any time there, he was not going to stand by and watch someone die.

[Transfer Regeneration Beginning!]

Darius’s left hand glowed as his energy enveloped the unconscious Transponder. he smiled, seeing what was happening. "Take care of him, he will regain consciousness soon."

The Transponder looked at Darius, then back to his partner, and tears of joy began flowing down his cheeks. He held his partner close, he was looking at Darius.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" These words came out of his mouth, he couldn’t handle the emotions he felt.

Darius stood there smiling, he was more than happy to help them out. "It’s nothing huge, just take care of him."

’You have a good heart, you know that, right?’ Azree chimed in, it sounded like he was proud of Darius’s decision.

Our young warrior smiled; he was happy that he could save the man. "If I couldn’t do anything to help him get back home, then I would be hurt; there had to be something I could do to help."

’Hmm, the young warrior is growing.’ Azree sounded like an old teacher. ’Now, I would love to remind you that there is a fight going on.’

Darius turned to the battlefield, and a nasty smile slowly popped up on his face. "Oh, I didn’t forget!"

A menacing crimson aura began enveloping him, he was looking at his fellow warriors fighting the Orcs. He raised both his hands, almost like he was reaching out for something.

"Ve’xa, Red Blade!" He yelled as he gazed into the forest, and almost immediately, a loud whistling sound could be heard crashing through the trees.

Both the Orcs and the warriors heard the sound, it was coming in fast, and from the looks of things, it was not going to be easy for them to avoid it.

"What is that sound?" Raya turned to the forest, she was dodging Orc attacks. "More Orcs?!"

Theo struck his spear on the floor, taking down a few orcs, and he turned to see Darius’s hands raised. "I don’t think it’s the Orcs!"

Almost, the sound grew closer and closer.

"Everyone take cover!" Theo yelled as he took cover behind a tree. He was not sure what was coming, but he knew it was not going to be funny to take it head-on.

Raya and Michael saw that Theo had taken cover; without hesitation, they did the same. Seconds later from the forest, Ve’xa and the red cobra blade came out of the forest at full speed, killing more than ten Orcs.

"What in the world is that?!" Michael tried to see if he was going to see what those things were.

Theo smiled as he stood up, he was looking at Darius, and he could see the smile on his partner’s face. "I think we are about to find out!"

The blades entered Darius’s hand, the white haired warrior had his eyes on Ignor, who was facing Pryion in an epic clash.

"I still have unfinished business with that ugly-looking bastard!" Darius took his stance, as his entire body was covered a bright crimson aura.

The Transponder standing behind could see his aura, and it was clear then that the man in front of him was not an ordinary warrior.

"Such a powerful aura, there is no doubt." He was looking at Darius, he could see it, and there was no two ways about it. "This warrior, he is going to be someone who would change the world."

Our young warrior took his stance, his eyes fixed on Ignor and Pryion. "Alright, here I go!" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Darius launched himself like a missile straight for Ignor. "Hey, ugly! We still haven’t finished our fight!"

Pryion kicked Ignor back. He had heard Darius’s voice, and he was not going to keep fighting the Orc warrior.

"Seems my liege has some with you," He sheathed Isakador back, looking at the rampaging Ignor. "Even though I think it is disrespectful for him to face one so weak and vile, I will not interfere in this fight."

"Die!" Ignor yelled as he raised his club to strike Pryion, but he was stopped when he felt a knee to his face.

Darius had closed the distance, his knees were on Ignor’s face, and a smile on his face.

"Miss me?"

Ignor stumbled back, he looked up to see Darius standing there with a mocking smile on his face.

"You?" The Orc growled. He was ready to kill Darius. "I will be sure to crush you this time!"

He roared, shaking the battlefield with his immense power; nothing was going to stop him.

Darius smiled as he took his position. "Now, let’s not make promises we can’t keep."

Ignor charged at Darius, sending his club down on our young warrior. Darius blocked the attack with the red cobra blade, for some reason, he was still smiling.

"Now things are about to get interesting!"
